Monthly Rentals in Vacationland Hawaii

It far exceeded all my expectations for a "glamping" adventure. Loved every minute on the property. The five miles of secondary roads became a little taxing driving them every day for 30 nights stay. It's in the Rainforest, how much cooler could it be? I loved the entire island. I want to come back now, just 36 hours later. Thank you again Sharon!

Wonderful rural location tucked away but not a far drive to Hilo, Volcano National Park, several beaches, farmers markets, other beautiful places to explore. The Airbnb had all needed amenities, really comfortable bed, plenty of space, games and books to read, a nice picnic table outside with a tent garage for the car so your luggage doesn’t get wet if it rains when you arrive, and even a robe and slippers which I am a sucker for - makes me feel so cozy when I am away from home! More than happy with our stay, we hope to come back!

We loved our stay at the Indigo House! The place was very clean and had fantastic natural lighting. We never had issues with bugs and never heard the other guests staying nearby. Very quiet location, and we adored hearing the frogs peeping all night long (there are ear plugs available if you don't!). We picked this stay because of it's proximity to Hilo (40 minutes to the airport) and to Volcanoes National Park (45 minutes). Even though most of our activities were based in Kona, we do not regret staying here whatsoever. If we can make it back when Kilauea is active, we will absolutely stay here again!

A life-changing stay - I cannot recommend this Airbnb highly enough. It is perfectly appointed and so well thought out. Padma’s place exceeded all expectations in every aspect. Dragonfly Cottage is a private, magical slice of heaven about a mile from the highway and easy access to the rest of the island. Off-grid living at its best. Padma & Robert’s solar system is robust - the internet (on from 6am until 9pm) was excellent - an unexpected bonus for my 3-month working break. Padma and Robert were outstanding, attentive, friendly hosts who respected my privacy, whilst managing to keep the place running on oiled wheels my entire stay. Robert came by regularly to check the propane, say hello and bring fresh fruit gifts. The cabin decor is unusually harmonious, giving it a peaceful, vibrant feel. There was every possible thing I could need on hand. Bed and bedding were sooooo comfortable, with hypo-allergenic linens to boot! Heartfelt thanks Padma and Robert for everything 🌺
