We had the most amazing time at Dar Meeti- the building itself was better even than the photos and the Daniel (chef) and Sammy (supervisor) together with the rest of the staff made our stay exceptional.

Great host, great house, great staff, great stay! We’ve visited Watamu many times over the years and found our stay at Dragonfly Cottage one of the most copacetic. Pete’s a great host - always responsive, very accommodating. The cottage was lovely - a great use of space - well designed, stylish, and comfortable. Both bedrooms and the common room open up onto the covered veranda leading to the pool and tranquil garden. The cottages are well-located near a quiet section of the beach - which is reached down a shaded path - and a walkable distance to both the center of town and Mida Creek. Doris and the rest of the staff were very welcoming - each making a point of introducing themselves - and helpful, without being underfoot. Dragonfly’s a lovely place to stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Frederica’s house in Watamu! From the moment we booked, Frederica was incredibly kind and proactive. She stayed in touch throughout the trip planning process, gave us transport recommendations, suggesting great activities and restaurants, and kindly accommodating an early check-in for our arrival. The house itself is absolutely stunning. We were blown away by the thoughtful design, both indoors and out. The pool was perfect for relaxing, and the lush nature surrounding the property made it feel like a true getaway. A special mention also goes to Rachid, the chef Frederica works with! He kept us well-fed and happy throughout our stay, making the experience even more memorable. Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Watamu!

Our experience at the Eco Tower was exceptional. The setting is remarkable, surrounded by nature. Each floor has its own unique design and the view from the top floor is particularly stunning: Each morning, the sun gently awakens you to panoramic views of the ocean, while in the evening, you can enjoy the sunset on the other side. A private pathway provides direct access to the beautiful beach within a short distance. The service and communication were excellent!
