Lovely quiet, comfortable convenient location- close to beautiful nature for walking and enjoying the spectacular autumn colours of deciduous trees in Canberra! Had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay to meet our new grandson- perfect!

Walking into Jan’s beautiful cottage felt like walking into a fairytale book. Jan had very kindly kept it nice and warm for us; as we had communicated to her about our late arrival. She is a very effective communicator. We appreciated her very warm welcome as she gently spoke to us as we arrived and little Alice is a true delight to be around. We had a hectic weekend and didn’t spend much time at home. It’s so much more beautiful here, than the pictures. Pictures don’t do justice at all. The lovely pond and the fishes and the birds singing sweetly in the trees…I felt as if it had visited The Magic Faraway Tree ( book by Enid Blyton). We were amazed by the sheer thought and planning of Jan. She had our kitchen fully stocked up. Thank you for the goodies Jan. We appreciated them. Bathroom had everything you could possibly need, even personal toiletries. We are truly thankful Jan for your meticulously planned cottage; we will need to visit again for a restful weekend there.

Absolutely loved this remote stay! Located in a valley so the surroundings were stunning and the bonus was getting to pet and feed the cows and horses. The host was so responsive and very helpful, filling the generator up for us and having a good chat about local recommendations! We will definitely be back here one day, maybe not when there is a cold blast over the weekend haha! Thank you for allowing us to stay in this beautiful home.

Cozy studio on the first floor of a house. Your (shared) garage access is opposite to your door, so you won't have to cross paths with the owners during your stay. Larger shower than you'd find in Australia. I particularly appreciated the WiFi connection, which was not restricted and enabled me to work serenely remotely without sharing a connection. I'd recommend it.
