Monthly Rentals in Upper Ojai Valley

A perfect place to be quiet in a natural setting. The cabin has a very California wabi sabi vibe. All details in design and furnishings are high taste and high quality. The neighborhood has a natural feel, oaks all round. Birds flourish. I checked out the dawn chorus every morning to hear the first birds. It might be the Bewick’s wren, oak titmouse, spotted towhee, lesser goldfinch, mockingbird. In my two weeks I saw or heard a total of 74 bird species at the cabin or within short drives. I recommend this spot highly, and Charlie and his wife were perfect hosts.

My mom and I had a very comfortable and relaxing stay. Very peaceful surroundings. We did arrive later than anticipated so it was quite dark when we pulled in. I had a hard time finding the studio but I messaged/texted Camille and she immediately got back to me. She guided me and stayed on the phone until we go there. Bed was comfortable and we even slept in a bit. Which we both were in need of. Thank you Camille for sharing your home with us.

The cottage was adorable and exactly what we were looking for in our little getaway from the city. The grounds were beautiful, peaceful and super close to and parks, hiking trails in santa paula and the restaurants and shops in Ojai. We loved hanging out in the front grounds, where you can enjoy a fire pit, corn hole, a hot tub and lounging in the hammock. I couldn't have asked for a better host, Therese was so sweet, communicated every detail from the beginning and checked in to make sure everything was going well and to see if we needed anything. I highly recommend staying here. I wont stay anywhere else when I return.

What a wonderful peaceful little cottage! Very beautiful space inside and out. Super comfortable bed, nice big bathtub, comfortable lovely furniture, nice big walk in closet, lots of windows to beautiful garden and orange orchard, hummingbird feeder on the front porch right outside the kitchen window. Mature landscaping with lots of gorgeous native plants. Very amazing and helpful hosts who accommodated my desire for dark skies for starry nights by shuttling off the landscape lights. Located in best neighborhood which is the east side about 8 minutes from the main drag. I couldn’t recommend this place anymore!!!!!
