Farmstay holiday rentals in Upper Bavaria

The place was clean spacious and well equipped. Exactly as advertised. It was easy to get in. You need a car to get to the nearest railway station but once there it is an easy trip into Munich.

I would highly recommend this place! Really perfect as a group trip. The place is very lovingly decorated and contains everything that is needed! We especially loved the warm barrel!

We had very nice and welcome days at the farm of Brigitte & family. The apartment in the attic is larger than it looks in the pictures, is very clean and offers everything you need for a cozy stay. The location is great in itself, in a quiet side street and you can reach everything in Bernau on foot and relaxed. But you also have to know that you can hear the highway at night; not extremely, but it is there. :-) We will still be happy to come back!

Romy and Franz are magnificent hosts. Our family was warmly welcomed and we were allowed to become part of the farm. The apartment is sufficiently large and has a washing machine, which is great for longer stays. We were completely satisfied and will come back when we find ourselves in the Alps.

What a wonderful holiday with our two little children in the mountains. Nina and Alex were super friendly, uncomplicated and helpful. The mixture of attention and restraint make them the perfect hosts, thank you very much for the wonderful time, best regards!

Thank you very much for the hospitality and this beautiful apartment. We felt very comfortable, nothing was missing. The fact that we could not use the pool due to the bad weather was made up for by the variety of DVDs, books and games. Above all, our 5-year-old son was very happy about the large Lego crate and some family film. Thank you very much and maybe see you soon (we still have to test the pool after all😉).

It was a great stay at this place. Adelheid and his husband made our stay very comfortable and pleasant. They made us feel home. I can only recommend.

We had a really good time in the small rustic cottage. Just the thing if you want to get away from everyday life and all the digital stuff! Having breakfast in peace and with a view of the greenery on the balcony was an absolute highlight, which could be enjoyed even in the rain. Daniela and her husband were also absolutely friendly, always helpful and quick to respond when there was a question. We felt very comfortable and well taken care of and can recommend the small hut as a good hiking base 😊

Very pretty place where to stay like at home

Oimfeeling is in the countryside, very quiet, a little off the beaten path. Very cozy and nice apartment in the basement of a small farmhouse. Cindy and Andi live next door. A garage next door can be used to park the bikes and use garden chairs etc. from them. We've been to the area several times and know something. We rented Oimfeeling for the first time and can definitely recommend it.

Our stay at George's Tiny House was like a little vacation. It is located on a farm where there is also a small café, a sauna and various animals. You could also get farm milk directly from the farmer. The sauna is much bigger and nicer than in the picture. I can highly recommend the place, with children the stay is certainly also very nice!

We and our dog enjoyed the tranquility in our apartment and in the beautiful surroundings. Regina and her partner were very friendly and helpful. We'd love to come back. We did not realize that we were also allowed to use the communal cooking and dining area in the house as well as the spacious and nature-friendly garden, even though we had enough space and facilities in our apartment. We had a wonderful walk with our dog along and through the stream that runs close to the village. In the village, there is a small supermarket that you can walk to in 15 minutes. The apartment is located on the 2nd floor of an ancient, cozy farm, with many cozy sounds of horses, birds and residents directly around it. Regina, thank you again! Marcel and Anneke

We had very nice days in Christa's apartment! The apartment is clean, has everything you need, a beautiful garden and a fantastic view of the mountains from the living room. There is a lot to discover in the area and you can also hike directly from the farm. Christa and her family are really child-friendly, very nice and helpful. Thank you again!

Full 5 stars!! The accommodation is as described and pictured or even better. The furnishings are top-notch and most hotels can learn a thing or two from the cleanliness. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. We had bicycles with us (without prior notice), and we were immediately offered a parking space in the shed. I didn't even have the opportunity to ask ;) For our children, the bunk bed and the adjacent play area with trampoline were the highlight. The surroundings around the Simmsee, but also Chiemsee, were very beautiful. In particular, the Simmsee is not yet so crowded. Everything can be easily reached from the accommodation by car. We can very well imagine another vacation in the accommodation!

Thank you Rüüd for the wonderful time with you in the Bavarian forest. This is quickly accessible on foot, and by car you can reach beautiful natural swimming pools, small villages and other hiking trails. We especially enjoyed the tranquility, the beautiful outdoor areas and the great view with the animals. For smaller dishes, the cooking equipment is sufficient, but it would be good to bring oil and salt, etc. Due to the proximity to nature, you also have a few small six and eight-legged roommates, but that did not bother us. The toilet or the smell is something to get used to, but also to endure. The studio is tastefully decorated and we slept very well. If you want to slow down and enjoy nature, you've come to the right place. In addition, Rüüd has been a friendly and reliable host. We will miss your dear dogs!

Chris is a super host, he is so patience with us when we lost our way and ended at the wrong side. His staff are friendly and kind. We feel like home. The environment is nice and peaceful. The apartment is nice and clean. Greatly recommend 👍🏻

An all-round successful stay – highly recommended! We were able to spend some relaxing days in the apartment in Kaltental and are completely thrilled. The quiet location in the middle of the beautiful nature of Bavaria was ideal for switching off and taking a deep breath. Exactly what we were looking for. The animals and the farm particularly pleased our children. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and accommodating – always helpful. You can feel that they are passionate about what they do and want to make their guests have a pleasant time. This appreciative attitude made our stay special. Thank you for that! The apartment was very well maintained, clean and lovingly furnished – you immediately feel comfortable. Everything that is needed is available. Don't hesitate to book this place! We had a relaxing, very comfortable stay. Birgit was an exceptional host; friendly and accommodating, she responded to our every question and went above and beyond to ensure a great stay. The kitchen had everything we needed to fix some of our own food and we have never slept on a more comfortable sofa bed! (We were a party of 4.) Last, but certainly not least, was the majestic view! The mountain view is even better in person AND there is a waterfall view from the other end of the apartment that was a pleasant surprise upon our arrival! If we ever have the privilege of returning to the area, we would 100% book this stay again!

The check-in went super smoothly, we were received super nice. The furnishings of the apartment were to our complete satisfaction, the fireplace was our highlight.

This was one of the loveliest stays we've found. Every aspect of the space felt calming, welcoming, and just like home. Our host met us and got us oriented, made sure we knew about the fresh-picked apples (from the property) that were available to guests (!), and made herself available for any questions or other needs. The location is idyllic as can be, while the apartment itself is beautifully new with thoughtful touches throughout (the chair to place things on and counterspace in the bathroom, hooks and closets in every room, cozy blankets, games and books, etc.). We would return in a heartbeat.

Beautiful accommodation on the farm. Our children loved the chickens and cows. Pure relaxation.

That was an all-around successful vacation with Lena & Tobi. The place was great, the location beautiful and Lena & Tobi were incredibly great and likeable hosts. The apartment was very tastefully decorated, well equipped and absolutely clean. In particular, however, the hospitality of Lena and Tobi and the matter-of-fact way in which they involved our son in the farm work made this stay unforgettable.
