I’ve been exploring different cities in Kenya, and Kitui was new to me. I only chose to visit after spotting this stunning listing—and booked it immediately! The 2-hour drive was scenic, and arriving at sunset made it even more magical. The house is beautifully designed, with a friendly receptionist, a fully equipped gym, and even sessions with an in-house therapist. What truly stood out was the host, Sean. He was warm, helpful, and greeted us personally. I had a flat tyre on arrival, and he handled it himself—I didn’t lift a finger. I felt so at home that I extended my stay. Later, I realized I’d left my earbuds behind, and Sean went above and beyond to send them back to me. I’ll definitely be recommending this listing!

Amazing place! While this home looks EXACTLY as it is shown in the photos, what stood out for us was the warm welcome and support by the team on the ground - especially our host Judy. She went out of her way to give us clear directions (even when Google maps had totally led us into the bush!), received us well and was always responsive whenever we wanted any assistance. The house and compound were super clean, well maintained and very peaceful, and we could tell a lot of effort went into making sure that everything was in place. Very classy too! Our kids really enjoyed the space, and I would totally recommend this place for anyone travelling to Kitui with a family and would like a place to stay for a few days. Definitely a home away from home.
