A luxury cottage at Glen Silva Farm

AbigailRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Had a wonderful stay at Silva Cottage. The cottage was beautiful and had everything a person could need and very clean. The location was amazing set in woods and so so quiet apart from the birds which were a delight to see and hear especially watching the comings and going’s of Woodpeckers on the bird feeder. The hot tub was spectacular.Set in the woods nothing could compare to sitting back and enjoying the tub with a glass of fizz. We had a great recommendation from Lorraine for an Indian Takeaway which delivered to the cottage and ate a great lunch at The Tamar Inn at Calstock. Great location for walkers with Dartmoor on one side and Bodmin Moor on the other plus the coastal path. Would highly recommend this property and would love to return.

We had a beautiful week at The Cart Barn, beautiful location with beautiful views and a private garden which was perfect for our pooch! we spent most of our evenings watching the beautiful cows out the garden! the hot tub was a lovely addition and the barn had everything we needed to make ourselves and our dog feel at home! Some great recommendations in the welcome book and from the owners of local things to do! Will definitely be returning in the future! :)

The Net Loft, Croyde

KevinRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Just back home after 5 very relaxing nights at The Net Loft. A beautiful, secluded hideaway with everything anyone could want/need for a few days away. The accommodation is extremely well equipped with the best appliances. The bed is so comfortable! With the bifold doors open sitting in the lounge area was so relaxing. It is a quick walk into the centre of Croyde where there are plenty of bars and restaurants to appeal to all tastes and budgets. Would definitely recommend The Net Loft. We will definitely be back. Thank you AnneMarie.

Stunning barn conversion with sea view and hot tub

AlenaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had an amazing stay at Nicola’s. The barn was clean, cozy, super modern and overall just a great oasis with absolutely stunning views. It was calm and surrounded by furry friends aka horses and sheep that managed to bring the extra wellness effect. An evening in the hot tub was an evening in heaven for us! Also, Nicola was a great host always having an open ear for us. Cannot think of a better stay and would highly recommend!

Honeysuckle Cottage with optional hot tub

AngelaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Honeysuckle Cottage. Spotlessly clean and bright. Very well equipped modern kitchen. Comfortable lounge and bedrooms and a sunny conservatory for dining in. Our host Helen welcomed us and a gorgeous cream tea awaited us, together with homemade scones, jam and bread. Milk, butter and eggs also provided. Such attention to detail. The garden is pretty and dog safe. Helen even provided dog bowls and towels and a treat! We would highly recommend it. You won't be disappointed.

Dunstone Cottage

TanyaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
What an amazing stay! It was everything we were hoping for and more. The cottage had everything we needed and also some nice personal touches too. It was so relaxing sitting in the hot tub, listening and watching the birds . The weather was a little unsettled for us but not a problem, as we could sit in the summer house, and look out at the lovely view and our neighbours the sheep! Claire was very responsive with messaging and will look forward to visiting again soon. 🙂

Award Winning Lower Whitsleigh Farm Cottage

GeorginaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Absolutely beautiful, stunning location. Lovely couple, animals were very gentle. It was lovely seeing the donkeys, horses popping their heads over the wall for a chat and nuzzle. The area is beautiful and peaceful. The beds were very comfy. Only downside was the flies in the kitchen, but it was extremely hot when we went. I had to ask for towels as only had 2, for a group of 6. Highly recommend and would most definitely return again. Exmoor zoo was fantastic and applemore beautiful place to visit especially for swimming and crabbing.

Elm Tree Cottage

DarrenRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Lovely cottage in Maramchurch. Very historic and full of character. It’s a real pleasure to stay here. Frances was a great host, very communicative and helpful. The cottage has everything you need. Beds are very comfortable. Nice garden. Everything was clean and tidy and very welcoming. The cottage is probably best for a couple and two young children who don’t mind sharing. This was perfect for us and our daughter, who brought her best friend from school along with her. Maramchurch is a great place to stay, as you are 5 mins from Bude with the wonderful beaches, walks, cafes and shops. But maramchurch feels like it’s tucked away and secluded from the hustle and bustle. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves (despite the weather)

Quirky and Unique Tower House with Sea Views

GinnyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a short sweet stay at the Tower before a trip to Lundy. Westward Ho beach and Appledore village were within walking distance and Bideford harbour (Lundy ferry departure point) was a short drive away. Check in was hassle free, we felt we could have asked if we had any issues (we didn't) the tower itself was lovely and quirky in a peaceful location and had everything we hoped for kitchen, bedroom and bathroom-wise.

200 year old character cottage close to beach

MarkRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We have just returned from a long weekend in North Devon and a stay at Carpenters Cottage, the cottage itself is beautiful, quaint and quirky, we loved it! The roll top bath was fabulous for a long relaxing soak after lots of exploring. The outside space was perfect for us, just a nice space to sit and enjoy a drink of an evening. The log burner, whilst we didn’t use it, had everything you would need to be super cosy. Our host Jon, was spot on with directions etc and recommendations and super helpful going above and beyond with requests I made prior to arrival, thank you đŸ™đŸ». We would have no problems in recommending Jon and Carpenters Cottage 😊

Parada Cottages, beautiful walk to the beach

KateRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Had a wonderful stay. Comfortable and clean. Host was friendly and helpful. We did the walk to the beach which for us was about 30 mins with some inclines. Also be aware there is no dogs allowed on the beach from around mid may till end September. But it is still gorgeous place to visit and have a wonder around.

Cleave Cottage - cosy coastal path cottage

EricaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Katy was lovely & welcoming & very quick to respond to emails & text. The cottage was 100% as expected & a practical base to go to the beaches we wanted to visit. We managed to get to Strangles beach recommended by Katy & it was exactly what we were after. Amazing quiet beautiful beach to go to, at low tide. We appreciated the cleanliness of the place & outdoor area especially for our dog. Perfect quiet place to get away from everything but still be able to go around. Very important when going away for us, the mattress was very good & for i managed to sleep almost as well as at home which is amazing for me;)

Grade II Listed Converted Barn

MalcolmRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Beautiful warm cozy converted barn in a remote village in North Devon between Bideford, Bude and Launceston. Road access is single track for 1.5 miles approx which gets a bit muddy in the winter but it's perfect if you want a peaceful location with lovely sunrise views and friendly curious chickens! We visited Hartland, Bude, Boscastle and Crackington Haven were all fairly easy to get to.

Quiet, cosy cottage with log burner

JoshRating, 5 stars16 months ago
Lovely cosy cottage :) Carol was very responsive and had the log burner lit prior to us checking in, so it was nice and warm when got in. We stayed in the cottage for most of our stay. All the appliances worked. It was great to have a stove and oven to cook food, as well as a cafetiere and loose leaf tea infuser. Decent size fridge for a weekend for 2 people. The TV is large and the sofa is comfy. There are board games too. Shower works well, didn't try the bath. Plenty of towels provided. Very comfy bed. It was wet during our stay, so we didn't try out the public footpaths. There's seating areas out the front of the cottage. We didn't hear the chickens too much. Also heard an owl and woodpecker during out stay :) There's a parking bay for 1 car. The Farmers Arms in Wolfardisworthy is fantastic. The local shop there is about the size of a small Co-op or Spar. Had some good local stuff in there. There's a milk vending machine at Woolsery Milk, you can buy a bottle at the farm.

Pines Cottage

TomRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had a lovely Easter weekend with our two kids (11 months and 4 years). The 4 year old loved running around the garden. The place felt roomy. It was very clean. The kitchen was well stocked. Big TV. Big bed in the main bedroom. The Hartland area is a bit of a warren of lanes, just to warn anyone not used to that, but has stunning beaches. We would recommend staying here.
