Holiday rentals with beach access in Torridge District

This has to be the best ever beachfront apartment we have stayed in. Spectacular views, spacious balcony, superbly equipped and everything worked without any hassle. The Leisure Club is an added bonus for me - brilliant pool, fitness equipment and the jacuzzi plus the outdoor terrace and restaurant with great meals, especially the (takeaway available too) fish and chips. The purpose of this trip was a holiday for my 94 year old Mother - above all the apartment was very safe/secure, accessible, the few steps to the 1st floor are manageable and the lift means getting into the apartment is easy. Totally recommend this apartment!

A great place to stay, tucked away in the heart of Croyde. Easy walk to the beach and lots of running/walking routes on the doorstep. Comfy bed, hot shower, spotlessly clean and a great welcome pack. Wish I could’ve stayed longer. I’ll definitely return!

Lovely apartment over looking the harbour! We enjoyed our stay at Lindsey’s place. The apartment was spacious and she has everything you could need such as; dvd’s, cd’s, guitar, ukulele and games! There’s parking and it’s only a short walk to the harbour. Would recommend!

Fantastic place... the views were as incredible as described and made for a really relaxing stay. The split level made the place feel really spacious with plenty of space for guests to hang out together (in kitchen or lounge) or apart. The location was fantastic... with a choice of pubs a stone's throw away. The village has a great atmosphere and is a lovely place to spend a few days. Didn't matter that it rained, the flat is a peaceful, comfortable place to hang out. Would definitely return.

My husband, 10-year-old daughter and myself have just returned from a truly amazing week, the property is beautiful, with facilities that far exceeded expectations. We had such a relaxing time; the beds are super comfy; led in bed looking out to sea with a coffee in the morning was a true highlight. The gardens are beautifully kept and being gated and private we had no worries with our daughter playing out. The walk down to Watcombe Beach, albeit steep on the way back up but 100% worth it; we took our paddleboard down and went swimming on a number of occasions, the water is very calm, on 2 occasions we were in the water and within 20ft off us were 2 seals! The hot tub was perfect, lovely fluffy robes provided to keep off the chill. We used the BBQ each evening and ate out on the patio. Susan is an incredible host, nothing is too much trouble, very informative and exceedingly helpful, she really did enhance our stay and made us feel as if we were staying in a home from home.

Perfect accommodation in a lovely corner of Devon. Within easy access of the beach, shops and restaurants. Great host, very responsive to any questions we had. Would happily stay there again

We spent 5 very comfortable nights in this beautiful chalet in order to walk a few sections of the South West Coast path. It was very convenient, being almost on the path, and very close to a reliable bus service along the coast. John and Annie’s place is quiet, private and has a wonderful bright and well furnished lounge, with patio doors out onto a balcony, and views of hills and even the sea. We made good use of the kitchen and found the bed very comfortable. The adjacent parking space was great for unloading. Crackington Haven is a delightful spot, well worth a visit. Johnnie was welcoming and had suggestions for walks. The fresh flowers were a lovely touch. Communication via Bear was excellent. We would definitely recommend May’s Cottage to other couples visiting North Cornwall.

This is a fantastic, secluded spot for a stay in North Devon. Though quiet itself, it's less than 10 minutes' walk to Braunton which has a selection of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants which Ant helpfully guides with recommendations. The place itself is beautifully done, with a full kitchen, large bedroom and bathroom, and excellent outdoor area for barbecues in addition to a lovely firepit. The landscaping of the gardens is stunning, it's a brilliant place to relax, and Ant is very helpful and responsive if you have any issues or want tips on what to do.

The Old Sunday School is incredible. Property: 5* in every way, super clean, lush decor, smells like a spa! parking is right outside. the patio and view are stunning. bathrooms, shower all amazing. comfy bed, lots of storage space. Hosts: Jay and Lisa are lovely, they are next door but not imposing at all. super helpful and knowledgeable, we enjoyed chatting to them. Leonard is obviously the most important one and he is adorable! Area: the field below the patio was superb for our 2 black labradors, just a short walk away is a woodland walk, just magical in the early morning sunshine. short drive are some lovely country parks and places to eat. the super generous welcome gifts were very much enjoyed. we can't wait to book a return visit.

Annie was a great host! Would definitely recommend for any couples wanting to get a break away. Out the back is very private and quiet. Lots of things are within walking distance of the annexe so you will barely need your car! Bude is a beautiful part of Cornwall with loads of restaurants and walks. The annex was very well presented and was the perfect size! If we are ever in Bude again we will defiantly stay at ‘Out the back’

Jeanette was the perfect host, videos were provided to help find the property which were so helpful! We were allowed an early check in which was really accomodating. The house itself was immaculate, clean and spacious, the perfect property to get ready with my bridesmaids the morning of my wedding! Jeanette was also very responsive, on hand if we needed anything at all. A great host, great stay thank you!

Amazing bnb near Bude. If you’re looking for a break that is peaceful, private and reasonably priced, look no further. Jill was really helpful, leaving great recommendations for the surrounding area and was very responsive to any questions we had. Stibb is slightly outside of Bude so a car is essential to get around, however the bnb is well worth it. Great stay, will definitely be recommending to family and friends.

We were pleasantly surprised at how light and airy the little house was with french windows as well as a glass door leading to a private garden There was a separate bedroom and bathroom and the amenities provided were second to none The TV had smart settings which were not mentioned on the site so this was a pleasant surprise The parking space for a car in the back lane is small but we didn’t need to move the car as the setting was perfect for the beach but also not too far to walk into town A lovely surprise was that we were able to arrive early as Anna informed us that the room was ready thus showing that she is a flexible and accommodating host On arrival we discovered that Anna had left us a bottle of Prosecco which we were able to enjoy in our private little space out the back as shown on the photos! Everything was just as described on the site and I cannot recommend Anna and the little house highly enough Anna was available if we needed to communicate Thank you Anna

Kelly’s place was just perfect for our anniversary break with our children, partners and dogs. It’s a very short walk to the beach and sea, and to coffee and bars. Also a short drive to excellent surfing. The house itself has spectacular sea views, is very clean and spacious, well equipped and they have done a great job on the renovation. Kelly is very responsive to messages and accommodated a date change for us - thank you 🙏

Adrienne’s apartment was fantastic for our stay in Woolacombe, including for our 3 year old Labrador. The apartment is in a great location just 5 minutes walk from the town and no more than 10 minutes from the beach, with amazing views from the balcony, from which we had some beautiful meals overlooking the sea. The apartment itself is very comfortable, equipped with everything we needed and we couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you for a brilliant stay - we’d love to come back!

Emma’s description of The Snug is spot on and her communication was excellent. A slightly unprepossessing exterior belies a very comfortable and cosy apartment. It’s very well equipped with some very thoughtful touches and it had everything we needed for a short stay and was spotless clean. We met the neighbours who were very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend.

A beautiful apartment just a short walk away from the centre of Torquay. Dean was very helpful. I would happily stay here again.

Apartment was lovely, as described and a good location for exploring Ilfracombe and surrounding areas. It is an apartment in a block, so we could hear the apartment above and while we were there, they were very noisy. Local pubs and restaurants were very good and only a short drive to Woolacombe beach, well worth a visit. Communication from Shirley was excellent.

A lovely apartment in the heart of Looe with fabulous views across the harbour. Close to shops and restaurants and some wonderful walks. Would happily return.

Lovely relaxing break It’s difficult to add anything new to the already fabulous reviews. Beth and Mark made our stay exceptional, their warmth, knowledge and hospitality were in a class of their own. The apartment is just gorgeous, situated in a picturesque spot, overlooking the beach, with beautiful gardens and plants. It is stylish, fresh, clean, comfortable and very homely and they have thought of everything, we really didn’t want for anything. We really hope to have the opportunity to visit and stay again. Thank you. Forgot to say it was my wife’s big birthday and she loved it, so thank you, I’m in the good books again. Best AirBnB I’ve ever stayed in.

The apartment was very modern, tastefully decorated and had all you needed for a lovely break away. It was spotlessly clean. The shower in the bathroom is amazing. Decor definitely to my taste. The view from the living area window is spectacular, we spent a lot of time watching boats coming into the harbour, and had a lovely view of Verity. The apartment is situated just outside of town centre so no noise, but walkable if required. Very good location with a car park nearby and a couple of pubs/ restaurants. Would recommend The Lime Kiln, has terraced area overlooking the harbour. Great place to sit and watch the world go by. All in all would highly recommend this property.
