David is an outstanding host, and the fishing cabin is on an amazing property that allows for seclusion and privacy if you want to relax when not casting a line. As a host, David often checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed and would even sit with us and offer fishing tips, which helped me as a new angler. Overall, Toledo Bend is an outstanding lake with surprisingly low boat traffic and several available guides for both crappie and bass, and I would not hesitate to recommend staying with David at Jack's Anglers Hideaway.

From a seasoned Airbnb traveler, this place sets a new standard! The host's communication was impeccable, the view was simply breathtaking, and the house? Spotlessly clean and utterly charming. That front porch overlooking the lake... it was the ultimate coffee spot, bar none. This Airbnb? Pure perfection.

I took my boyfriend here to celebrate his birthday, and we had the best time. We caught some fish on the water with our boat and hung out at the dock! We loved the views and the cabin was perfect for 2 people. I would say 2 people are max. Perfect for our couples getaway. My boyfriend has already suggested we book another trip! Thanks so much for hosting us!

Regretfully we had to cut our trip short but already looking forward to booking again in the future.
