Monthly Rentals in Tightwad

Absolutely loved this stay. Stopped here on the way back from a very stressful business trip, & was met with coziness, everything thought of & already provided, the comfiest mattress I’ve slept on at any airbnb…all kinds of good stuff! Sat out on a rock by the pond & fed excited catfish. Drank coffee on their absolutely perfect porch. Felt peace for the first time in over a week. Very needed. Plan to stop here again. Hosts were also very accommodating with such a last minute stay, & were extremely pleasant, providing help & guidelines while still giving space. It was simply lovely, & I can’t recommend this place enough.

We couldn’t have enjoyed ourselves more! It was beautiful, peaceful and Baxter was quick to respond!

We just wanted a couple days of peace and quiet and that was exactly what we found. The cabin was kept very tidy and neat with lots of small extras. Little things like extra trash cans discreetly about, plenty of towels, and a nice little coffee selection with condiments. There is also a provided gas grill on the upper deck. It was neatly cleaned and ready for use. Below the cabin near the woods edge they provided a stocked campfire area. It is very peaceful here even though there are several houses and cabins in the immediate surroundings. The owners live directly adjacent to the cabin and were available but not intrusive whatsoever. There are several small restaurants and bars in the area. You are very close the lake for fishing, boating, or swimming if you choose. If you are looking for peace and quiet or need a place to stay while at the lake this is a great choice.
