Lovely Easter weekend.. Andy is very helpful and friendly. The cottage is immaculate & everything is of a high standard. The bed and shower are especially good.

Centrally located if you are a garden buff, an hour to just about everywhere--Great Dixter, Knole, Sissinghurst, et al. Easy train to London too. Katie was wonderful and the house reflects that. To me luxury comes in many forms and to have a house with heart, a perfect kitchen for cooking, a great outdoor dining space, delightfully comfortable beds, a big relaxing bathtub and an unrivaled view of the High Weald is just that. My only regret is that we were out and about so much we didn't get to spend enough down time just curled up reading books in the living room... The Bell in Ticehurst, Jempson's Grocery, Weald Smokehouse, Eggs to Apples...everything you need!

Really enjoyed Maggs place. So much bigger than the pictures show. Everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Quiet private accommodation, parking perfect, right outside. Maggs was very friendly and helpful, lovely welcome. So central to National Trust houses and gardens, walking, seaside and many other places. Lovely weekend.

An easily accessible countryside location. Very hospitable hosts - Ben is charming and very helpful. The accommodation has all the amenities needed for self-contained lifestyle living. Wonderful dawn chorus each morning. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would happily stay again when I’m next in the area.
