Holiday rentals with lake access in Ticino

Could not have asked for a better place to stay! The view was stunning, the neighbors were so friendly and sweet, the home itself was perfect and had everything we needed, and there was so much to do in the local area. Will definitely be recommending in the future!!

Clean, large apartment, 4 spacious bedrooms, fit a group of 6 as we were. Central to area attractions. Nice homeowners are inviting.

Perfect airbnb for your stay on lake Lugano!

Ana's and Carlos' apartment in Vira is absolutely wonderful! Probably the best we have experienced so far on Airbnb. All seemed new, super well maintained, looked brand new, super clean, almost like we were the first ones ever staying there. The design of the apartment and the attention to detail of the host is something I never experienced on this level. The price, considering we are talking about Switzerland, was also very good. The location is also perfect, in the old center of the village of Vira surrounded by old stone houses, near the lake. When you open the window in the master bedroom in the morning, you are greeted with the marvellous view of the old church, the old village houses, the lake and the mountains towards Locarno (and you can get to Locarno by boat in 20 min). If we will be back in the area of Locarno, this is the place we will try to stay at, for sure!

We had a great stay. Loved the Location as it was very quiet and just outside of town. Super easy to get into Morcote and also easy drive to Como if you wanted to see the other lakes around. The apartment was very clean, had everything in the kitchen, and comfy beds. We loved the view and sun in the mornings. Definitely would come back. Sebastiano was also very friendly, and always responsive.

Excellent location, extremely responsive host, and very generous amenities stand out. Luisa consistently checked in with us and offered support for anything we needed. We had some difficultly finding the apartment since there is new building renovations next door, so the building didn't look open. Luisa updated the entrance picture so that it shouldn't be a problem for upcoming guests. This is one example of Luisa's responsiveness to her guests. The shower is small and may be an issue for larger people. We didn't have a problem with it. Many amenities (coffee, chilled water, shampoo, hand soap, toilet paper) were provided which was greatly appreciated. Overall, it is a comfortable apartment with friendly hosts in a perfect location.

We spent here two nights. The apartment was clean, located in a very nice and quiet area, with a very cozy bed, a well organized kitchen and a spacious bathroom. Daniel was very nice host, which answered to all of my questions in a very short time and always with kindness. Recommended 😊

We stayed 8 days in Estelle's place this summer, with our 2-year-old daughter and cat! The accommodation is a very large studio beautifully decorated and located in a pretty quiet, green and relaxing village. The place allows easy access to all the cities of Ticino, and about 45min from the Italian border which allows you to go quickly to Come and Milan for example. The apartment has all the essentials, including a beautiful equipped garden. The bed is very large and comfortable. Estelle is easily reachable, and very kind and helpful! We did not notice that the apartment was actually a large studio without a bedroom, which is complicated when we have small children. We had to put our daughter in the entrance so she could sleep quietly. The pool was no longer available which was not advertised (the listing had been changed) We remain very happy with our stay and recommend this place without hesitation!

Our time at Casa Lucertola was beautiful and we had everything we needed. Especially the view from the bedroom into the beautiful Verzasca Valley appealed to us - simply paradise. Ursina&Enrico were warm hosts and welcomed us in a very friendly way. The exchange was always pleasant with you. Thank you so much for the time!

Valerio is quick to respond to any communications and he was especially helpful this time with restaurant recommendations and a recommendation for a last-minute tailor in town. Erica picked me up when I got off the bus and welcomed me very warmly! Your beautiful cottage is close to the beach and has a fabulous view! There are two restaurants in the village, but you can also be in Italy in a few minutes, where there are beautiful markets! And the beach bar is only 2 minutes' walk away, so you can easily hang out there! ☺️Erica was always ready when I had a question and I'm looking forward to the next time! Stay healthy, dear Erica! We stayed at Giulio's beautiful Rustico from Friday to Sunday – and it was just perfect! The house is furnished with a lot of love for detail, authentic, cozy and in a fantastic location. Everything was very clean and well prepared. We would like to highlight the communication: Giulio was always available, warm, helpful and gave us many great tips about the area. Already in advance, the exchange was very pleasant and straightforward – you immediately feel welcome. We can fully recommend this special place and will be happy to come back!
