Holiday rentals with a patio in Ticino

Angela is the perfect host. She welcomed us so warmly and prepared everything for us with love. She thought of everything. The rooms are large and flooded with lots of light. I felt very comfortable and could only enjoy this week. If you want this location and the views, you've found the right place with Angela. We will be happy to come back.

We were able to enjoy our stay very much. Everything was available and the way to the lake and the center was short and with little traffic. The bus stop almost in front of the house was also pleasant. Many possibilities, also with public transport, to explore the surroundings. Top!!!

Highly recommended!!! We felt very comfortable in Elkenda's apartment. The apartment was sparkling clean and offers everything you need for a stay. It is very well equipped and there is plenty of storage space for luggage. Elkenda was very attentive and hospitable. She always responded to our messages immediately. The accommodation is really very nice, especially the terrace, from which you have a wonderful view of Lake Maggiore. The apartment is very well and high-quality equipped and very tastefully furnished. The lake is minutes away by foot. The communication is very friendly and uncomplicated, we will be happy to come back.

We stayed 8 days in Estelle's place this summer, with our 2-year-old daughter and cat! The accommodation is a very large studio beautifully decorated and located in a pretty quiet, green and relaxing village. The place allows easy access to all the cities of Ticino, and about 45min from the Italian border which allows you to go quickly to Come and Milan for example. The apartment has all the essentials, including a beautiful equipped garden. The bed is very large and comfortable. Estelle is easily reachable, and very kind and helpful! We did not notice that the apartment was actually a large studio without a bedroom, which is complicated when we have small children. We had to put our daughter in the entrance so she could sleep quietly. The pool was no longer available which was not advertised (the listing had been changed) We remain very happy with our stay and recommend this place without hesitation!

We had a wonderful stay in Peter's Airbnb apartment! The accommodation was spacious, clean and stylishly furnished – especially the three large rooms offered plenty of space and comfort. The absolute highlight, however, was the breathtaking view of Lake Maggiore - waking up every morning with this view was simply fantastic. Peter was an exceptionally helpful host, always friendly and with great tips for the area. We will be happy to come back!

This stay was wonderful! We had such a great time relaxing on the patio with the beautiful views. We walked a lot (mostly stairs!) in Locarno but the nearby public transport was a great way to alleviate the need for stairs up and down from the city. That said, it’s so so so walkable! We also had a recommendation from Corinne for a local bakery that we cannot recommend enough. We frequented every day! Everything here was perfect for us.

Amazing house in the middle of a paradise! We loved every second of our weekend and would recommend this place if you want to relax and recharge from the chaos of the everyday life. The house was clean and has everything you need.

There were four of us at the house. The house is beautifully decorated and we felt very comfortable. Everything was very clean. We liked the quiet residential area very much. In addition, we were able to take various hikes in the nearby forests directly from the house. Thank you very much for the great hospitality.

This Airbnb is lovely, very modern on the inside and in a peaceful location away from the city. It’s perfect if you want tranquility but still well located for things to do nearby in Lugano. The place was spacious and clean and perfect for us as a family of four.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Everything was super equipped and totally clean and inviting. We felt right at home. The kitchen was even set up so that you hardly had to bring anything from home. The view was also fantastic and the climb to the house is definitely worth it. Tobias is a great host! We immediately received detailed information about check-in and everything else. The contact was super friendly and straightforward. The Lake House is really a little gem – tastefully decorated, with a lot of attention to detail. You feel immediately welcome and comfortable. We were six adults and three children – it was a bit cuddly - but absolutely doable and very comfortable. The location directly on the water is fantastic, but you should know that the house is located on the main road out of town (80s route). For families with small children, the path to the village (about a 10-minute walk along the pavement) may not be quite ideal – but it worked well for us. Daniel was a fantastic host: helpful, attentive and super friendly. If something came up, he was immediately available – and always generous and uncomplicated. All in all: We didn't miss anything, had a great time and would recommend the house anytime! Thanks Daniel

Amazing stay at this apartment/house by the lake. Complete with all kitchen necessities. Heater and AC available. We had one sunny day but managed to have a nice stand up paddle by the lake connected to the house. The view is just incredible and the host is helpful enough to accommodate our needs. Very close to the city center and Italian border. I highly recommend and will consider to come back again!

We highly recommend this place as it is also suitable if you are traveling with children. The apartment was very clean and we particularly liked the good equipment with many practical details (sockets, lamps, shoe cabinets, wardrobe, etc.). We were traveling by public transport and a short distance to the apartment runs every half hour bus no. 311 to Locarno, which was very convenient for us. And the view of the lake is really very nice!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment is tastefully decorated, extremely well maintained and corresponds exactly to the pictures. We also loved the location: very close to the beach and downtown, and yet pleasantly quiet. The parking space right outside the door was particularly convenient. At night there is absolute tranquility, and the small balcony overlooking the countryside invites you to relax. Thank you for this beautiful getaway — we will be happy to come back!

I booked a one-night stay en route from Luzern to Milan. The listing was as described, and though it was fairly bare bones, I had everything I needed for a short stay. It was away from the crowded areas though still easily commutable by bus and even walkable. The view of the lake was lovely, and I especially loved the honeysuckle-lined path to the garden.

A very practically furnished, very well-maintained 2-room apartment in a beautiful panoramic location. It is excellent for a few days and is perfect for long mountain walks. You have to stay here! What a beautiful place. The attention to detail, the gifts of food and drinks, the herb garden, the fully stocked kitchen. Peaceful spot overlooking the park. The parking stall underground. I could not have been happier, being a 5 star super host myself I have high expectations and Cécile surpassed all of them. Any request we had she was on it. There were even free passes to tourist attractions. I can’t wait to come back and would not hesitate to recommend this place 1000 times over. Just wow! Don’t hesitate.

Nice and cosy place. had everything we needed. was close to Bellinzona and Lugano. Aldi and Coop were only couple minutes drive. we stayed for one night and loved it. The host was responsive and provided clear instructions for check in. everything was perfect.
