Holiday rentals with lake access in Ticino

Could not have asked for a better place to stay! The view was stunning, the neighbors were so friendly and sweet, the home itself was perfect and had everything we needed, and there was so much to do in the local area. Will definitely be recommending in the future!!

Die Unterkunft war wunderschön und nicht 0815. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden uns wieder für die Unterkunft entscheiden.

Ana's and Carlos' apartment in Vira is absolutely wonderful! Probably the best we have experienced so far on Airbnb. All seemed new, super well maintained, looked brand new, super clean, almost like we were the first ones ever staying there. The design of the apartment and the attention to detail of the host is something I never experienced on this level. The price, considering we are talking about Switzerland, was also very good. The location is also perfect, in the old center of the village of Vira surrounded by old stone houses, near the lake. When you open the window in the master bedroom in the morning, you are greeted with the marvellous view of the old church, the old village houses, the lake and the mountains towards Locarno (and you can get to Locarno by boat in 20 min). If we will be back in the area of Locarno, this is the place we will try to stay at, for sure!

We had a great stay. Loved the Location as it was very quiet and just outside of town. Super easy to get into Morcote and also easy drive to Como if you wanted to see the other lakes around. The apartment was very clean, had everything in the kitchen, and comfy beds. We loved the view and sun in the mornings. Definitely would come back. Sebastiano was also very friendly, and always responsive.

Excellent location, extremely responsive host, and very generous amenities stand out. Luisa consistently checked in with us and offered support for anything we needed. We had some difficultly finding the apartment since there is new building renovations next door, so the building didn't look open. Luisa updated the entrance picture so that it shouldn't be a problem for upcoming guests. This is one example of Luisa's responsiveness to her guests. The shower is small and may be an issue for larger people. We didn't have a problem with it. Many amenities (coffee, chilled water, shampoo, hand soap, toilet paper) were provided which was greatly appreciated. Overall, it is a comfortable apartment with friendly hosts in a perfect location.

We spent here two nights. The apartment was clean, located in a very nice and quiet area, with a very cozy bed, a well organized kitchen and a spacious bathroom. Daniel was very nice host, which answered to all of my questions in a very short time and always with kindness. Recommended 😊

Wir durften ein verlängertes Wochenende in dieser wunderschönen Unterkunft verbringen und haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Der schöne Garten, die liebevolle Einrichtung und die herzliche Betreuung haben unseren Aufenthalt zu einem rundum gelungenen Erlebnis gemacht. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Unsere Zeit im Casa Lucertola war wunderschön und wir hatten alles was wir brauchten. Besonders die Aussicht vom Schlafzimmer ins schöne Verzascatal hat es uns angetan- einfach paradiesisch. Ursina&Enrico waren herzliche Gastgeber und haben uns sehr freundlich empfangen. Der Austausch war immer angenehm mit Ihnen. Ganz lieben Dank für die schöne Zeit!

Wir haben uns bei Daniel sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist gut gelegen und hat alles was man benötigt. Die top Kommunikation und der entspannte Check-in, haben die Wohnung abgerundet. Eine klare Empfehlung :)

Yet again, Valerio was a perfect host. This was our third time renting this property and we always feel like we're coming home. Valerio is quick to respond to any communications and he was especially helpful this time with restaurant recommendations and a recommendation for a last-minute tailor in town. This is a beautiful apartment worth every penny. Thank you Valerio.

Erica hat mich als ich falsch ausgestiegen war vom Bus abgeholt und sehr herzlich empfangen! Ihr wunderschönes Häuschen liegt nah am Strand und hat einen sagenhaften Ausblick! Es gibt zwei Lokale im Ort, aber man ist auch innerhalb von wenigen Minuten in Italien, dort gibt es schöne Märkte! Und die Strandbar ist nur 2 min Fussweg entfernt, dort lässt es sich gut aushalten! ☺️Erica war immer parat, wenn ich eine Frage hatte und ich freu mich schon auf das nächste Mal! Wir waren für eine Nacht hier. Besonders gefallen hat uns der riesen Garten und die schöne Aussicht. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich, unkompliziert und hilfsbereit. Wir würden die Unterkunft wieder buchen.

Wir hatten 4 tolle Tage in Ashley Appartement. Der Verkehr auf der Strasse war hörbar, hat uns aber nicht gestört. Der Seezugang und Park ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar und wir konnten die Zeit dort richtig geniessen. Auch die Osteria ist in weniger als 5 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar und es gibt feines, saisonales Essen in einem gemütlichen Ambiente, wir haben alle 3 Abende dort gegessen. Ashley war sehr zuvorkommende und hilfsbereit.

Wir waren von Freitag bis Sonntag in Giulios wunderschönem Rustico – und es war einfach perfekt! Das Haus ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, authentisch, gemütlich und in traumhafter Lage. Alles war sehr sauber und gut vorbereitet. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Kommunikation: Giulio war jederzeit erreichbar, herzlich, hilfsbereit und hat uns viele tolle Tipps zur Umgebung gegeben. Bereits im Vorfeld war der Austausch sehr angenehm und unkompliziert – man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Wir können diesen besonderen Ort uneingeschränkt empfehlen und kommen sehr gerne wieder!
