First, a clarification: Franco does not exist. The apartment is part of Interhome and is rented through Airbnb. We rented the apartment for a week in November and used it as a starting point for hiking holidays in Ticino. The apartment was perfectly suitable for this and the value for money is good for the low season. The apartment is located in a new development and can be reached on foot in just over 10 minutes from Locarno train station. In the development, in addition to a large Migros, there is also a Denner for shopping - perfect for adding to our hiking facility, etc., again and again. Unfortunately, the supermarket is also the only downside: the delivery (about 06:00-07:00) to the Denner is on the street under our apartment. For people who are sensitive to noise - despite closed parties, the shattering is clearly audible - this could not be ideal for a holiday stay. The apartment is large, bright, friendly, well equipped. The reception was very kind. We will be happy to come back.

As I showed with my review, we were very satisfied with the apartment. Really a great place, also big enough for 2 adults and 2 children, as the sofa bed is wide and easy to open and close. The staff in the office is very nice, the surroundings extremely likeable!

We fully enjoyed our stay and will definitely come again. All emails were answered promptly, kindly and committed and the reception was just as friendly. The swimming beach and the old town of Ascona are within walking distance, as are the shopping facilities and the bus stop. Nevertheless, the apartment itself is pleasantly quiet.

We spent three weeks in this apartment in March. The beds were comfortable, and the linens and towels of fine quality. The kitchen is well stocked and the WiFi and TV functioned without the slightest problem. If the balcony doors are open though, the traffic noise might be bothersome. The apartment is a two-minute walk from two bus stops serving lines 2 & 4, so getting around town via public transport is easy. All in all, this apartment is well worth the price.

We stayed at Sandra’s home in Ascona and we’re very pleased. The location is perfectly situated close to the shops and restaurants. The home is clean, well maintained and well furnished. Interhome was very responsive to my multiple requests. We hope to come back someday.
