Bungalow holiday rentals in Teignbridge

Perfectly suited our needs. Clean and comfortable. Spacious and airy. A perfect base with a nice private garden area for breakfast (and dinner etc!) outside. Watched butterflies and listened to the birdsong each morning and unravelled. The fact that you park a little away from property was actually a bonus as it was just so peaceful. Can offload bits a bit nearer and then park in the car park by the cricket club. The beach and town of Instow is family friendly. Quiet and clean with a couple of pub restaurants and the weekend music type bar nearby that closes by 9pm so no unwanted noise. Great chilled holiday vibes. And local beaches such as Woolacombe and Saunton fab for swimming and body boarding. Wonderful place 😊

Fantastic. 3 min walk to dog friendly beach. Is a bit far to anywhere to walk to eat other than Venus Cafe if you have your 87 year old mum with you but house is so gorgeous you could happily stay in and enjoy the view from the dining table.

We had a lovely couple of days in the bungalow. We booked it mainly for the views, and it did not disappoint - such a treat to be able to look out to sea all day! The bungalow was clean, comfortable and well-equipped, and communication from the hosts was excellent. Thank you!

Susan &shaun great hosts the caravan was beautifull everything you needed was there great locations plenty entertainment for children visited some lovely beaches not far from site all in all a great stay would recommend it would definitely stay again😄

kam and Ben were great hosts. Kam greeted us on arrival and went through how everything worked or where we would find things. The house was a home away from home, had everything and more. Would definitely recommend staying here. We will hopefully be back maybe in better weather!

Dave's Bungalowis a real home from home. Very bright clean and welcoming. There are lovely views out of both the lounge and kitchen windows and easy access to the developing garden. We found lots of walks especially along the Exe way cycle path down to the river and the East Devon footpath which runs behind the Bungalow. It took us about 35 minutes to walk into Exmouth where there is lots to explore with plenty of nice eating and drinking places. We also walked to the lovely little village of Lympstone, which is well worth a visit. Would definitely stay in the Bungalow if we went to Exmouth again.

Just back from a fantastic three nights at Paul’s place. The location of the house is fabulous, just 1-2 minutes walk from the beach. It felt very homely and comfortably sleeps 8 Breakfast on the balcony overlooking the sea and beach was sublime. Drinks up in the bar on the top decking at the back of the house in the evening with stunning views was real bonus. There are plenty of games to keep you occupied and we didn’t turn the TV on, not once. A nice spacious kitchen and a dinning room table that sits 8. We walked over to Burgh Island for a lovely meal at The Pilchard. Had a dip in the sea. Played golf at the very friendly and welcoming Bigbury and Thurlestone golf clubs and rounded it all off with a final meal at The Oyster Shack, only 10 minutes drive away. Really well located in short drive to beaches and local wake park (part of the reason we were down). For the long weekend it was perfect for what we needed and really comfortable. Next time we are in the area will definitely consider staying again.

We enjoyed Sarah's lovely place. It has all the necessities for a countryside retreat. Sarah offered lots of recommendations for local walks and gave lots of important information about the area. Would highly suggest taking the walk from the house to Tuckenhay's pub and back. Took us less than an hour, and the drinks and views were fantastic. The house felt right at home and we were enchanted by the area. Driving to and from the village can be a little challgenge given the tight roads however Sarah's instructions made it much easier for us to access the wide-enough roads. Overall great countryside experience in Devon, thank you for having us Sarah!

Absolutely loved our stay. Property perfect and matched the description and pictures. We chose the property as it was close to Waterrow where I was on a course, had WiFi so my husband could work, had good off road parking, and was peaceful. Property was clean, spacious, had everything you could need. Angela was responsive to queries and an excellent host. Lovely pub two minutes walk away was the icing on the cake. We shall be back.

We found the Bungalow to be very spacious and very well equipped and maintained. All fixtures and fittings were top quality and it was a really great place to live in. The location is very well positioned to visit many places on the Devon coast. I would definitely stay there again if I was staying in Devon, great place.

The bungalow is wonderful, so clean, comfortable, modern and spacious. There is everything you need! The location is perfect with a beautiful view, there is a lot of what to do and see. Thank you very much for welcome box, it was a lovely surprise for us. Our daughter was happy about so many puzzles and table games. We had a brilliant holidays in Amanda’s and Tim’s amazing bungalow!!! We HIGHLY recommend!!!!

We stayed here for one night and it was perfect for what we needed. So handy to park next to the lodge and within walking distance to bars, shops and waterfront. It was great that the dogs were secure in the garden. Would stay again. Thank you!

WOW!!!!! We have just returned from an awesome time at the weekend spending 2 nights at Torvale Lodge, could have easily spent a week! We had lots of celebrations as a group of friends, 2 families of 4 and 2 couples. We arrived to music playing, great to have speakers outside too, house in immaculate condition, plenty of towels including for the hot tub. Lots of games, toys, books, activities for the whole family, hot tub, sauna, adventure golf, cinema room, pool table, basketball, darts, to name a few, the list goes on and on. Did not need to leave until check out and we didn’t want to! lots of information for places to visit if you did want to venture out of the lodge. The weather was good so also made use of sun loungers, a little sun trap! We lit the log burner one evening and toasted mash mallows, kids loved it! Great communication from hosts, Marc, great guy, popped in when we arrived to show us how some things worked, was always on hand if needed. Highly recommend!!!!!!!!
