This place is the most peaceful setting, waking up to a view of the hills, the foliage, the sheep & the cry of the pheasants. It was great! Excellent proximity to trails. Close to town. The space was perfectly appointed, and had all the things we needed to stay comfortably with our 6 month old. I would certainly recommend if you’re needing a recharge in the countryside. And Tanya was quick to respond as needed.

A short 2 night stay in this lovely property situated a short walking distance to Teignmouth and also Shaldon via the bridge and ferry. Our dog Buster enjoyed the walks and being so close to the river and sea. Parking outside not a problem but be prepared to reverse in or out of the lane. Highly recommended.

Thank you so much for an amazing stay. The barn was beautiful and spacious and perfect for socialising with friends or family. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here, our only gripe was that we wish we had booked longer!!

Serendipity is a lovely house with stunning views. Marks has designed and refurbished his house beautifully and very much with his guests in mind. The downstairs is spacious with a very large table so we as a party of nine could sit all together or in separate groups inside and outside. Well done to Mark. He is a very considerate and welcoming host.

Great communications from the host with some suggestions for walks/ days out and also responsive to queries. The accommodation itself is lovely and as per the photos. The real gem is the lovely waterfront view, especially enjoyed in the late afternoon sunshine. We liked Calstock and enjoyed the walk around the wetlands and to Cotehele and back and the mobile Pizza on Wednesday evenings is to be recommended. The Calstock ferry had just restarted and this would also be a nice way to head up to Cotehele and back once the schedule is fully established. Provisions need to be brought in from outside the village though, we found the Asda Express near Gunnislake pretty good for that.

A really lovely week, marred only by a couple of days' rain (which of course was nobody's fault!). Taryn was extremely efficient and responsive. Barbara was charming and helpful, and explained so much about the lambing process. The house was roomy - great for a family party of nine. My granddaughter loved visiting the lambs, and even holding a newly-born lamb in her arms. Wonderful rolling hill farmland to walk the dog. Visits to the sea, Exeter and Totnes were great too. We had a lovely few days in this gorgeous house. Unbelievable views, extremely well equipped and spotlessly clean.

We had booked in for a very short stay of only two nights but we wish it had been longer, much longer. We cannot fault The Signal Box; everything to make a stay pleasant, convenient and enjoyable had been thought of. The exceptional view, the history of Luckett Station, the friendly sheep, the hot-tub, the superbly comfortable bed - all combined to make this an experience that we will remember for a long time to come. The entire property was beautifully kept, with immaculate gardens and a very high standard inside. The instructions for access on arrival to the property were clear and easy to follow and the business is obviously very well run. Definitely worth recommending to others and a return visit. Thank you for having us.

The host, Julie, was really helpful and responsive to our messages. Beautiful surroundings and the views from the chalet were incredible. We were visiting old friends and neighbours and it was an excellent base. The walk down into Shaldon along the golf course was convenient and stunning but be prepared for the walk back up!! The chalet had everything we needed and was really nicely decorated with comfy sofas and beds. Wish we were there longer and would love to go back.

We spent the half term break at Little Burston with our two young children, we had a wonderful time. The accommodation was everything we hoped from the previous brilliant reviews and more. A clean, bright and large space. Well equipped with everything you could want (games, DVD’s, kitchen utensils). A tranquil and peaceful setting not far away from Dulverton and within striking distance of lots of activities. The hot tub kept the adults happy and the kids loved the garden, trampoline and games of football. Carol was a great host, instructions left at the property were clear and easy. Walking recommendations all great. Goats and chickens out of the kitchen window was a highlight for the kids. Up there with the best Airbnb’s we’ve been to in the UK. We would not hesitate to return, if visiting North Devon again and couldn’t recommend this place highly enough.

My friends and I stayed at Louise’s place for a long weekend, and it was a wonderful time. The house fit 11 adults no problem. Lovely and quiet, the pool was so much fun, and we made good use of the fire pit to have s’mores. Harry gave us a tour of the dairy farm & beehives, & let us see the calves which was lovely. Louise was a fab host, very good communicator and always at hand if needed. Great stay overall!

Yet again we had a fantastic break in this great holiday home. This is our third visit and ready to book again for next year (if they will have us ) lol. Keep up the great job in hosting that you both do so well, and thanks again Ted.

We loved staying at the Coach house it was just as in the pictures, and clean/comfortable with many mod cons. The Cream tea provided was delicious and the milk from the Milkiosk was fun/special. Our spaniel loved the field to run round in, although he was a bit naughty on occasion straying with the excitement. The pool is heaven, especialy as it is timetabled per unit meaning we had it all to ourselves for our turns (what a great idea). Just a great location with some lovely beaches and walks along the coastline. We loved it so much we have already booked again for next year.

We loved our trip to Goodleigh. The farm was beautiful, the stables were beautiful - the hot tub was a real treat. The kids loved the rope swing and we played many of the games. The place was just beautiful, the decor, location and comfy beds were perfect for our week away. We visited some lovely beaches (30 min drive tops), Combe Martin and Lynton/ Lynmouth were favourites of ours. We visited a recommended pub - The Black Venus Inn was amazing, food was great. A perfect week and would 100% recommend.

Great location, picturesque views, spacious living room and kitchen with all appliances, we also enjoyed sunny weather in the decking area. Good value for money. Overall, very pleased with the stay.

What a magical place. The pictures don’t do it justice - everything from the homely space itself to the beautiful setting in the woods. The moors are so close, it was breathtaking. Even the local pub was a delight! Sarah’s place was super accommodating for our slightly neurotic terrier as feels private and the ease of being able to let yourself in meant no unnecessary barking! They even supplied a dog bed, bowl, towel and treats which was very sweet and meant we could travel light. I’d 100% come again and have already recommended to friends. Thanks so much!

Gorgeous little cottage and beautifully appointed. Only slight challenge was very narrow lane and driveway in a big 4x4 but manageable. Didn’t really explore the local village too much as spent most of the time travelling g to local towns. Great location for a base and felt very at home. Leanne super helpful too.

Really wonderful house in stunning location. The views! Ideal base for exploring Dartmoor or the coast. If you can tear yourselves away from the house, terrace and garden. Bedrooms, bathrooms and living space perfect for six.

We had such a lovely weekend stay. The old pottery was spacious and peaceful with beautiful views! Catherine was always responsive and really helpful.

The only fault I could find is that Nick no longer sports the huge beard in his profile photo! In all seriousness the place is quite stunning. Huge private space perfect for a couple chilling out, working, or like us holidaying with two active young kids. The accommodation worked perfect for us, visiting family in local area. Our boys loved the outdoor space and we found that hanging out at the accommodation playing the outdoor games provided and ones we bought easily wiled away afternoons and kept everybody happy. The local pub and green again is great. Strawberry vending machine around the corner was a hit.

Dawn was a great host, very friendly, extremely helpful, thoughtful and accommodating. I was visiting my daughter and her family, who were on holiday at a nearby hotel, I chose not to stay there as I had my dog with me and Dawn's place was a perfect base for us. We stayed for three nights.

A well equipped home from home. Beautiful house with character and huge beds. Remote surroundings allowed us to have the family time we desired. Great host. Will will definitely return
