The place was better than the pictures. The view was unbelievable. Way better than pictures. I dare you not to look at the view. Space was great. Living room a little small for 4 people but we really didnt care ! We would stay again in a heartbeat. Hosts were awesome and the easiest check out ever.

We really enjoyed our time here as it’s close to everything in a quiet neighborhood that offered great views! We loved seeing and reading all the Alaskan books provided. It was a perfect space to spend time with family while not enjoying the outdoors.

Beautiful place tucked in the woods but right next to the road for access to Valdez. The creek that runs adjacent to the property drowns out the road, all you hear is the birds and running water. Very peaceful atmosphere. Jacob was super flexible with a booking mistake I made and was quick to accommodate our change in plans. We look forward to staying again in the future!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend staying with Magadelana. Our tiny home was quirky and charming, immaculately clean, extremely comfortable, and beautifully decorated and well equipped with everything we needed, including quality kitchenware and a variety of condiments. We were welcomed with a personal note from Magdalena and a beautiful locally made slice/scone for afternoon tea. Magdalena is very welcoming and friendly and is able to provide lots of recommendations and advice on what to see and do in Valdez. There are also push bikes and kayaks available to hire. The accommodation is located a little outside of town which makes it quiet and peaceful but it is still only a 5-10 min drive to lots of restaurants, shops and the waterfront.
