Monthly Rentals in Swineside

Jo's cottage is lovely and situated in a great village with a good pub and many easy, beautiful walks. It was clean, had every amenity needed and then some (fresh eggs from their hens! plus baked goods!), and was very, very comfortable. The back garden with it's stone walls was completely contained for our kids to play in, and a nice spot for wine after they went to bed. Jo had everything for staying with a baby and kid-- all the basics like high chair and travel cot (bunk beds for the older ones) and the amazing bonus of a blackout curtain. I wish we'd been able to stay for longer!

We had a wonderful stay: peaceful location, many nearby walks, very comfortable bed, and well-appointed space. Would highly recommend for someone looking to do walks/hikes in the area or just relax and get away from the bustle of everyday life.

lovely stone annexe to Penny's house, in the pretty village of Carperby which is on a minor road so only local traffic. Very well appointed, all neat and clean. Penny is a great hostess and I really enjoyed my stay there. Thoroughly recommend.

Great cottage in lovely village, with fantastic pub in walking distance. Perfect for our school mates reunion !
