Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Sussex County

We enjoyed our stay here. Our older dog was going through chemo for cancer, and we made this trip for dog friendly spot. The lab loves water and the beach. It was nice having a fenced in yard. The host was very responsive. The house was well stocked. The kitchen was well stocked. The neighborhood was quiet. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved this house. First- I want to express how nice Kristin is. When we arrived early after a 9 hour drive she let us check in early and responded very rapidly to any inquiries I had. My kids spent hours playing with all the toys provided and the fenced in back yard was great for them to play in. The community pool was the cherry on top. We went every day and met some of the nicest neighbors! This area is very safe and convenient. 15 mins to Lewes beach, 20 to Rehoboth and 20 to Henlopen state park. My kids loved the Movie at Midway (10 min drive), the water parks (15 min drive) and Funland (20 mins) and a trampoline park (10 mins). The kitchen was fully stocked and had non stick pans that were NOT SCRATCHED! (That’s rare for Airbnb’s) We cooked every single night at home and lacked for nothing. I would rate this 100 stars if I could!

Cindy’s place was clean, well stocked, and perfect for our family. Loved that everyone had a bed and there were two full bathrooms. We were there for lacrosse and the place was only 10 minutes from DE Turf which made it easy. Cindy is very easy to communicate with and makes sure your stay is perfect. Would stay here again!

A traditional farmhouse, exactly as described. No frills but welcoming, warm and spacious. Was less than ten minutes from the baseballs fields we were in town to play at. Walmart right up the street. We were in and out in less than 48 hours and the house was exactly what we were in need of.

My family of ten adults and two small children stayed at Christine’s place for a short beach vacation and it was perfect for us! We enjoyed the private, country feel and had campfires in the fire ring several nights. It was just a short drive from several nice beach areas, which made it a very convenient location. The house was clean, spacious, and well-stocked. Just what we look for in an Airbnb. Thank you for a great stay! Lots of memories made here!

Beautiful, quiet place with the beach very easy to access from stay. The home was very spacious and clean. Would definitely recommend and plan on coming back as soon as we can!

Cliff was a great host. The house had a good layout and lot of space. Milton is a nice little town and we had multiple restaurants within walking distance and an ice cream place 🍦🍨. The dogs enjoyed thier walks and the neighborhoods were quiet, Not a bad drive to the beaches. Would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful apartment in Lewes! The space was spotless, stylish, and incredibly comfortable—everything felt thoughtfully designed and well-maintained. The location was absolutely perfect, just a short walk to downtown shops, restaurants, and the beach. It made exploring Lewes so easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

Great place for small kids. With a small, bay-side beach right outside and a short walk to the ocean it was a great location to have options to keep small children active. The afternoon trolly to Rehoboth boardwalk is half a block away and there are plenty of restaurants around to provided great walkability. We only needed the car for shopping and our selection of mini golf. The unit was perfect for our two children under 5. It was clean and had all the amenities to support our stay. The hose shower-head and washer/dryer was especially useful with small children. Host provided great instructions for anything unique to the space. Would stay again.

We had a pleasant stay here for the weekend while we were visiting our kids during their summer camp break. It's a quiet neighborhood away from the beach chaos -- and a nice place for dog walking -- but it's still easy to get to pretty much anywhere.

John’s place was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway with some friends! We could walk to everything and it was great to have a place to park the car!

This is our second stay at All Decked Out. The space is decorated beautifully and it has everything you need and more! Dennis and Steven are gracious and warm and truly make you feel at home. We love the location because it’s a very short ride to both Cape Henlopen State Park in Lewes and Rehoboth Beach. By far, one of our favorite Airbnb’s.

We had a peaceful stay at Lilia’s place, and were under a 5 minute drive to my parents place in the Vineyards. This Airbnb is walkable to cvs, bakeries and Arenas diner, which worked out well for us to get food on the go. The two beds and two bathrooms also worked out well for a family of three. The amenities are modern including the HBAC, and was nice to have an outdoor space as well. WiFi worked for two of us to work and our daughter to stream videos. We would go back!

As my review indicates, they were very responsive. Any issues I had were minimal, but I still mentioned them upon checkout, and the response was very kind and you can tell he wants guests to be comfortable and have everything that they need and the space be clean. Everything is decorated wonderfully. I would definitely stay again in this or one of his other properties

Donna & Neal’s “sweet suite” was absolutely PERFECT! Beautifully decorated to every detail to make you feel relaxed, cozy & at home! Donna was great at communicating check-in details & any other info or suggestions we may need. We were able to meet Donna & Neal, they are the most kind & sweet people! The suite was VERY clean & free of any chemical cleaner smell like another review mentioned & I really appreciated that. We loved all the treats, fresh flowers & special touches just for us & to feel so welcomed in their lovely town of Frankford. The bed was super comfy, kitchen area had everything you would need, bathroom & shower was AMAZING! This was a last minute getaway for us so we feel so fortunate to have found such a beautiful place to stay! The only Airbnb in the area that met all our needs & wants! We will 100% return again & recommending the “sweetest suite” to all our family & friends! Truly believe this trip was meant to be & our paths were meant to cross w/Donna & Neal!

Stayed at the High Tech Hideaway and had a fantastic experience. The place was clean and comfortable and had easy access to so many higher demand locations in the area. This is especially great for folks that want to see both Rehoboth and Lewes, or want easier access to some of the fantastic family-friendly activities or restaurants on or near the Coastal Highway. Having access to a Rehoboth parking pass was invaluable to us—with just a little planning, it made having daytime fun a cinch. Jeff’s communication was always prompt and proactive. Would stay again.

We had a fabulous time in Lewes and Rehoboth and this space was perfect for our family! The pool was fun, and the location was great and centrally located! Would definitely return!

Betty’s place was lovely. Everything was exactly as described. She has equipped it thoughtfully with everything one could need for a terrific stay. My son and I had a very relaxing weekend. Hope to return soon.

We LOVED this place. Looked better than the pictures (and the pictures looked great to begin with). So spacious, including all of the balcony areas. Close to lewes beach and the state park. Great area for a family getaway. Had everything we needed and more. Also Bohdan was an excellent host and very responsive!

Our stay at this comfortable condo was exactly what we needed it to be and more! When we walked inside, the property was larger than anticipated and in great condition. For three coupes, this was the perfect amount of space. We definitely felt like we were in a "home away from home" and after the quick and friendly responses from our host, we knew we were in good hands. Thank you!

Mimi's place is a spacious, beautifully decorated, and immaculately clean condo in Lewes, close to the beaches in both Lewes and Rehoboth. There are a few very nice restaurants in walking distance, as well as a supermarket. This is a great location and a great apartment. We loved it.

We had a wonderful stay at Liz’s studio. Perfect location on the boardwalk and beautiful view of the beach! The condo was just right for us. It was, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. And Liz was very responsive with our questions. We hope to come back soon!
