Holiday rentals with a kayak in Sussex County

We had a wonderful stay with grandma, two grandsons (12 and 9) and uncle and mom. Space was clean, smelled lovely and was the perfect size for us. The extra amenities of kids toys, games, bikes and boogie boards was perfect for our beach vacation. We were especially impressed by the quality of the bikes and beach equipment. Bikes were great for a quick 10 minute ride into town for coffee, dinner, ice cream etc. We will definitely come back next time we are in the area!

There are many nice features about the rental. Being by the Beach, the living spaces are on the second and third floor, so the dumbwaiter is helpful to transfer your luggage items to the top floors. With board games, bumper pool, shuffle board, arcade, 2 TV areas, large dining table and roof deck, there is plenty of entertainment in the house and plenty of nooks for everyone to occupy. All the bathrooms are inside the bedrooms except one. Roof deck has a great view of sunrise and sunset. On the ground floor, there are beach chairs, wagon, and kayaks available. We were there for Memorial weekend and horseshoe crabs were supposed to be beaching to mate at high tide, but unfortunately we didn't catch them at the right time. We still saw plenty of crabs and collected plenty of shells. The beach access is easy and feels so private. we love being away from the crowd. Rehoboth, Lewey, and Cape Henlopen state Park are only a short drive away for half day excursions. We all loved this trip!

We thoroughly enjoyed the private location of the house and access to all of the amenities. Serena was a great host. We will be back soon.

We loved our time. The house and views are incredible. Big bedrooms with lots of space. Unfortunate first morning with lots of construction noise going on early through most of the day, but thankfully no work was done over the weekend. Janna was incredibly responsive and got the ice machine working for us fast. All in all a beautiful property for a long weekend with family. Thanks again Janna.

We had an excellent stay at Joseph's place! The location, in a small gated community, surrounded by trees was exceptionally peaceful and the others in the neighborhood offered friendly waves whenever we passed. The cottage was extremely cozy (two sets of comfortable sofas, a comfortable bed) and expertly equipped (i.e. full set of cookware, can opener, orange juice and creamer) and thoughtfully designed (washer dryer, front porch with chairs, fire pit in back). The extra, extra plus for us was that we could bring our dog. The location is ideal 20 mins from Lewes, 25 minutes from Rehobeth, and 40 minutes from Bethany Beach - tons to explore, especially outdoors. Joseph was very proactive (gate instructions in advance, for example) and responsive (friendly tone, responded within minutes to each question). Would recommend highly and without reservations!

We planned a girl’s weekend trip for Mother’s Day. It was amazing! Luckily for us; it was not quite “beach season” but things were open and we were lucky to experience the different beaches with little traffic and ZERO parking fees. The house was beautiful. Wherever you choose to sit and sip your beverage of choice, you’ll have a beautiful view. The house is spacious and came equipped with some baby essentials that helped lighten our load with packing. Ashlee was very responsive! We really loved this place & hope to return again.

This place is amazing! From the natural beauty of the surroundings to the hotel quality type accommodations of the home it left us wanting for nothing. Highlights of our week, to name only a few, included a Bald Eagle sighting, a 20" largemouth bass caught and released from the dock, kayaking on the quiet lake, & biking the nearby Georgetown Lewes Trail. We enjoyed hours of family time by the pool, around the campfire, & in the comfort of the many indoor and outdoor lounging areas. Chris is a great host and we're all looking forward to going back next year!

Our stay was great the house was perfect for my Daughter and her family. The grandkids loved the pool that was very well kept and a short walk or bike ride to the beach. everything you would want to enjoy a day at the beach We hope we can do it again. Thank you Steve for all that you did to make this a memorable vacation

Awesome location with modern amenities and all the things you need for a laid back family beach vacation. Our fur babies loved it almost as much as we did!

Our stay was perfect! We had a wedding to go to while down there and everything was no more than 30 minutes from us. Cindy and Dave were fantastic and friendly. They made us feel right at home. The house was in the perfect location and made us feel right at home. Would recommend this place to everyone.

Great place to stay, felt very safe and was quiet and relaxing! We had plenty of space in the house for everyone to stay comfortably and took full advantage of the bikes and kayaks. Dave was extremely responsive and took the time to check in with us each day of our visit!

Had a great couple of days here with our outsized chocolate lab! Everything you would need is provided including a friendly welcome!
