Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Suffolk

We stayed at 6 Blyth View for one week as a family and we throughly recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely getaway in a peaceful location. The cottage is part of a lovely estate in a very peaceful and thoughtfully designed setting with amazing grounds overlooking fields to the East so you can stunning sunset views. It’s a short drive from wonderful Southwold and several neighbouring villages with great pubs offering decent food options as well as lovely drives to explore the surrounding areas. The cottage is perfectly equipped with all facilities working perfectly, a very well equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms offering plenty of storage space plus a perfect living room space and indoor and outdoor dining. Parking is situated close to the property. In addition, the (bookable timeslots) gym, swimming pool and games room were much fun and we very much enjoyed. Highly recommend this property and thank you to the attentive host for great support and communication when needed 🙏🏼

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tide House. It was spacious and extremely comfortable. After a hard days work with Time team at Sutton Hoo, the bath was a godsend. We were both very pleased with our stay. Easy to get to the town and all the amenities available. Lovely walks along the Deben river. Didn't hear any traffic noise at night, had a good night's sleep. I recently had a wonderful five-day stay at Rebecca's kiln cottage, which truly felt like a hidden gem. The cottage was not only beautiful but also clean, comfortable, and set in peaceful surroundings. Being dog-friendly with plenty of lovely walks nearby made it even better. Rebecca, our host, was incredibly welcoming and provided us with useful information about local amenities. She was friendly, helpful, and always available if we needed anything. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would love to return. Thank you, Rebecca!

A stunning Airbnb. Really thoughtful touches and definitely convenient for a longer stay. Beautiful peaceful location, but a convenient spot in the heart of Woodbridge. The perfect location as a base for our wedding weekend!

We had a wonderful time at Alyson's. Our kids really enjoyed the outside space to roam and were in heaven feeding the donkeys some carrots. We will definitely be back next time we come to visit family.

A wonderful house in beautiful surroundings. It also had that more difficult to attain "presence", with each room allowing you to relax and experience its homeliness and history. The whole family (6 adults and 2 grandchildren) thoroughly enjoyed our stay to celebrate my wife's 70th birthday. No-one really wanted to leave. Waking up to see the expanse of manicured gardens from bedroom windows and breakfast room was a calming relaxing pleasure. Plenty of walks available, and the walk to the local pub for an evening meal was safe and easy along quiet country roads. Would certainly recommend.

My second time staying at Jo’s and the attention to detail is amazing. Feels like a home away from home, and everything you could need is thought of!

We stayed here for two nights with the dog and couldn’t fault it. The location was great although Horringer isn’t the biggest you have a 10 min drive to bury and walks straight out the back of the garden to take your dog which is a huge place. The place was clean and beds were comfy and had everything we needed in it too. Great time away thank you

Enjoyed staying at Peter's flat, very comfortable. Was working in the area for a few days and it was great to be able to cook and cater for myself rather than eating out all the time. Central location and great for going for walks in the evenings. Added bonus a parking space!

Great location for this flat, easy access. The owner gave us clear instructions of the place and everything that was needed, responded/communicated quickly when we texted. The flat has everything in it, from kitchen utensils to towels and very clean bedding. We loved our stay and we had a wonderful time in Southwold.

Absolutely fantastic weekend away , The apartment was as described and contained everything we needed plus more. Great location conveniently 5 minutes walk from the Beach and 10 minutes into town - along a beautiful Seaview promenade. I would certainly recommend the putting green cafe for breakfast , its the closest and the full English was on point. Our second stay at the Old School Rooms. We were impressed the first time (April 2025) and just so on this visit (May 2025). It so comfortable you immediately feel at home. Everything available that you may need. Judith an excellent host, always responds promptly and very helpful. We would have no hesitation in recommending.

Great location, near city centre and many nearby eateries by the waterfront

Anna’s was such a wonderful place to stay for a few days. Very private and quiet, but close to so many attractions if one decided to be adventurous. The space was clean, warm and welcoming. And the hot tub was just the icing on the cake after a long day exploring. We would definitely stay here again and happily recommend to friends and family.

We were greeted by the lovely Teresa who was super helpful and friendly! The stay was just what we needed close to the Suffolk Show grounds as we were attending the following day! She had great details about the show which really helped us! The accommodation was great, it was super clean and just like the photos! Had a lovely nights sleep to set us up for the following day! Beautiful flat, super comfy in terrific location. Around the corner from many shops, pubs, restaurants and five minutes' walk to marina and harbour with gorgeous views. Mark was very prompt and responsive. Hope to stay longer next time. We loved Woodbridge! Many thanks, Mark.

We enjoyed our stay in Janet's flat. It's clean, modern, well-equipped and spacious. It's very convenient for Thetford town centre and the parking is close by. Although we never met her, Janet sent us everything we needed to know, and cleared up a misunderstanding we had over the parking very quickly. She's an excellent host.

A perfect place to stay in Bury St Edmunds. So handy to walk around the town and see the shops and the Abbey. The interior has a great theme with its colours and fittings. Super comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen. Sean even provided for our parking needs.

Excellent annex, perfect for a weekend getaway, lovely welcome pack, Sarah even left a welcome pack for our doggy, Will definitely book again, if we go to the east coast again. Very easy to find and gain access, No problems with anything.

Had a lovely two night stay Annetta greated us and showed us around was very lovely, The place was beautiful and quite and very clean and had everything you needed and the hot tub was a added luxury, loved waking up and walking outside and seeing the horses. My partner feel in love with Daisey the cat she likes to come and greet u also 😀 We would definitely come and stay again 😀

We had a lovely stay at Helen’s place near Oulton Broad for 3 nights with the kids and the dog. Lovely little attention to detail with dog treats and dog bowls left out, also some treats for the humans. Thanks!

Lovely seafront location with fantastic views over the beach and sea. Less than five minutes' walk to the town centre. Accommodation was welcoming and beautifully presented.
