Birdhaven is a delightful cottage situated on a quiet lane in the pretty village of Wenhaston, just a few miles from Southwold and the Suffolk Coast & Heaths. This charming self-catering cottage offers cosy accommodation with plenty of natural wonders and attractions nearby. It features lovely views of the surrounding picturesque meadows which offer wonderful sunsets. The cottage has a large garden and driveway offering private parking and the woodburner makes it an ideal cosy winter escape.

This is a unique and tranquil getaway. You will have 2 bedrooms, a well equipped kitchen, a comfortable sitting room, and a terrace facing beautiful lakes. There are 5 acres for walks, securely fenced up. We charge an additional £30 for pets, service pets free of charge. Beautiful old small town Clare is just 0.5 miles away.

Pet friendly, and part of the Serenity Cottages collection in Suffolk, it is within the heart of the village near willow trees and a river set in a pretty conservation area. There are two historic pubs and a fine food shop selling locally sourced foods all within walking distance too.

This beautifully converted barn lies just outside Dedham, in the heart of Constable Country, on the Essex-Suffolk border, surrounded by glorious countryside, with the coast around 25 minutes away. Relax in the hot tub, or spend a cosy night in around the wood burning stove. Explore the local area, which has a number of excellent pubs and restaurants. Local activities include water based fun on the River Stour, walking in Dedham Vale, and visiting the picturesque local villages.

Lavender Cottage, off the beaten track in Suffolk

This country cottage dates to 1880. It is on the outskirts of Wenhaston, 5 miles from the coast. It is a real escape to the country, overlooking Suffolk Wildlife Trust reserve. With cows grazing and birds singing it seems idyllic. Lavender cottage sleeps 5 in 3 bedrooms, a king size master, double bedroom and single bedroom. The modern kitchen/diner with new appliances has dining for 6, while the cosy living room has a log burner. Accessed down a bridle path.
