A fantastic getaway option. The Rosemary hut is perfect for a couple weekend away - remote and romantic. Communication from the host is proactive and they make accommodations and arrangements around your arrival time - like starting the hot tub before your arrival! 10/10 would recommend. The kitchen is well-equipped, and they provide the necessities - like milk, rusks and wine.

Very cozy, well-kept and clean house in the countryside. You only need to bring your own groceries. Each bedroom has its own bathroom with shower. We felt very comfortable. The journey is along a kilometer-long unpaved road. You can reach it without an SUV. However, as in all of SA, an SUV is an advantage. We definitely can recommend the place!

Perfect location, close to town but still far away so that you could relax. Farm is beautiful, with an amazing spot to have sundowners while surrounded by the majestic Franschoek mountains. Manager was responsive, super helpful and flexible.

Yolanda and Jean were so kind and welcoming! We were warmly welcomed by Jean who showed us around the property. We absolutely loved the large kitchen where we were able to cook and eat a delicious meal. It is such a unique space and very homey. We also had a great view of the mountains which was so peaceful. We wish we could have stayed longer to talk with Yolanda and Jean more and would absolutely come back again!

Mieke’s cottage truly is a home from home. The home has all amenities, modern and very comfortable. From the moment we arrived we felt so welcome. There was a lovely welcome selection of drinks in the fridge, and a lovely bottle of wine. Lozanne is a wonderful host - she is attentive and kind. The children (and the adults) absolutely loved the animals. The splash pool was a lovely treat. We stayed for just over two weeks, and we were so sad to leave. We felt safe and secure at all times. When needed, Lozanne and her husband were on hand when we had a question. We hope to return to stay at the cottage when we visit in 2026. 5 stars in my opinion. Thank you for making our visit to South Africa such a special one.

Extremely beautiful vineyard sunset views. Private wood fired hot-tub. This place was the perfect romantic getaway. Private but still not so secluded that we felt scared but everything was perfect. You might just spot some animals which was another nice surprise.

We had a wonderful stay at Fransvliet villa and Vanessa was a great host. We had a long lazy lunch next door at Maison and walked through the Vineyards to and from the restaurant. It was super relaxing and beautiful. The hot tub was fired up for our return, and a lovely bottle of wine awaited us. Thanks Vanessa for an awesome stay - highly recommended.

A truly peaceful and beautiful little gem nestled between the beautiful Stellenbosch mountains. Leonard and Valeria are wonderful hosts who made us feel very welcome. I would love to spend more time here in the future, two days was not enough to enjoy the beautiful home and surroundings.

We really enjoyed our time at Chanél’s. Very easy to find, instructions to get in clear and concise and a cozy, private breakaway from the norm. During a very cold and windy weekend, it felt as if we were separated from the extremities. A great getaway during winter months and I imagine it is fantastic in summer too. Chanél was very communicative and non intrusive. We will be planning a return at some point. What a wonderful breakaway 😍

My husband and I were looking for a quick getaway to celebrate our anniversary, and this stay exceeded all our expectations. The space was spotless, cozy, and incredibly comfortable—it immediately felt like home. Hanna, our host, was warm, thoughtful, and attentive to every detail, which made us feel even more welcome and cared for. Her kindness truly enhanced our experience. The dogs on the property were an absolute delight—friendly, loving, and added a special charm to our visit. The hot tub is a must-try; relaxing under the stars was unforgettable. To top it all off, Hanna surprised us with the perfect anniversary gift upon checkout—something so meaningful and useful that I’ll treasure it for a lifetime. It’s rare to receive such a thoughtful gesture from someone you’ve just met. We’re already looking forward to visiting the farm again. Highly recommended for a peaceful, heartfelt escape.

Wonderful place, we wish we’d stay longer! Ideal for 3 couples. You get everything you can imagine for a perfect stay. But extra - very nice pool, we used even though it was a bit chilly. There are also few hot jacuzzi’s, but we did not find time for them. Beautiful gardens with local fauna. Unbelievable view on vineyards, we enjoyed both during sunset and sunrise. Host provides everything needed for grilling. Lots of recommendations from host on places to visit. Definitely recommend staying here!

This was by far the best staycation. Making sure my family re visits the place yearly … the house was so clean and the place was beautiful …

An incredibly well-appointed and luxurious house in a truly beautiful setting. So many special touches made this a great experience - from fresh flowers in each bedroom to lots of towels next to the rimflow pool, every possible comfort was provided. We had a wonderful weekend.

Our trip was made all the more special by our stay in Carol's beautiful home. It was full of wonderful art and artifacts and staying there was one of the highlights of our holiday. We all enjoyed the big, comfortable rooms, the lovely outside dining areas and appreciated all the amenities. The kids loved the sparkling pool and expansive, attractive garden. Carol was so friendly and relaxed and made us feel so welcome. We would wholeheartedly recommend their spot and hope we can stay there again in the near future.

We had such a lovely weekend at the cottage at Sandstone House. Stunning views and impressive grounds. The cottage is spacious and well appointed and had high quality finishes. Clive and Owen were both friendly and accommodating. A great place to stay in Franschhoek.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, but I wish I had booked a longer one. I will be coming back. Louise is an awesome host. Very friendly and welcoming. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful, and luxurious stay, I highly recommend it.

Really wish we’d booked for longer. A beautiful, quiet oasis with phenomenal grounds, and great views. I was able to ‘power-down’ here and get some much needed rest. We couldn’t get the hot-tub fired up, which was a shame as the starry night’s would have been even more magical. Staff were really helpful and responsive when approached. They went out of their way when our car battery died - hunting down cables & removing the battery from their own car to give us a ‘jump start’. Thank you!! I’ll definitely be back.

Beautiful home in an amazing location. Felt right at home - house is just far enough from the hustle and bustle of the Main Street to feel very private but all within walking distance of anything you need. Jan was a great host and so was Eric who looked after us very well. Will def be back for future trips.

Highly recommended for any group be it families with or without kids! We were a group of 4 adults and three kids (1,4,6) and had an amazing team in the house. I'd even say the pictures dont to justice to it, as the view which ranges from Capetown over the ocean and then to vinyards and the mountains is absolutely stunning. The pool was a nice refreshments and it nicely heats up throughout the day (water is heated via tubes on the roof). The kitchen has literally everything in terms of utensils etc. Bedrooms: 2/3 bedrooms can be darkened, one will always be bright in the morning. The Masterbedroom with large bathroom and walk-in dressing room/wardrobe was absolutely amazing Host: super flexible, Blaise even organised a baby chair and bed for the little one (didnt have one before but reacted quickly to our ask); Willie as the "on-site-host" is always super helpful and flexible. We had an aircon-issue one day and he instantly took care of it; always reachable on w-app/call

Penny’s house is truly magnificent. Set in a vineyard with fantastic vistas towards the mountains and False Bay. The house was very spacious, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. We also made use of the cottage attached to the main house, which was very convenient. There is plenty to do in the broader surrounds, so well worth a stay. We will certainly stay again.
