A fantastic getaway option. The Rosemary hut is perfect for a couple weekend away - remote and romantic. Communication from the host is proactive and they make accommodations and arrangements around your arrival time - like starting the hot tub before your arrival! 10/10 would recommend. The kitchen is well-equipped, and they provide the necessities - like milk, rusks and wine.

We had a wonderful few days at Ashley's place on a farm in the Klein Karoo. Wide open spaces with blissful silence and the magical Karoo with its starstudded nightsky while keeping warm around a crackling fire is really a special experience. The accommodation is comprehensively equipped with all you need and you are even supplied with a crate of wood every day for those lovely nighttime fires. Co-host Stephné is always available and very attentive to make sure you have a memorable experience in this unique part of the world. Highly Recommended!

Colettes place was exactly what we needed to get away from the city's hustle and bustle. It was so peaceful. There were so many toys my daughter could play with and very child friendly which I appreciate. The place was clean and very neat. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay.

The best of both worlds being able to enjoy a peaceful farm stay with beautiful scenery but still be within walking distance of the town. We really enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be back!

This place is made to calm down and relax. It‘s far out the city and around 1km from the host‘s farm. There is no electricity in the house but candles and lamps… and a very nice hot tube. Heleen, our super friendly host, prepared hot water when we arrived, gave us a lot of useful recommendations around this place and was helpful for everything we needed. There‘s almost no light pollution allowing a nice and clear sky full of stars! We would highly recommend this place and definitely come again! Thanks a lot!

Jo's place is a peaceful escape from the city. Beautiful surroundings and lovely accommodation made our stay most enjoyable. Jo was a friendly and responsive host. We would definitely recommend Jo's place and look forward to returning.

A most nourishing experience, with the unfurling vast and varied mountainous landscape, to the silky smooth nutrient rich natural pool to immerse yourself in whilst watching the sun setting, followed by the outdoor fire to delve into conversations or simply star gaze, and then delight in the colourful display and immense flavours of the organic vegetables and fruit. The cottage appears to have been formed out of, and perfectly integrated with the natural surroundings. It offers all the comforts as well as quietude felt through its practical and creative simplicity. You feel completely at ease and peaceful here, as well as childlike wonder through the experience. The outdoor seating, hammock and pool invite you to fully relax and enjoy the expansive surroundings. The birds gift a morning symphony on sunrise and it’s wonderful to look upon and explore the orchids. I was welcomed to further enjoy the studio, offering a perfect space for a yoga and meditation practice. Immense Gratitude

Had a wonderful stay! Was very peaceful and we could totally relax. Eveything was clean and we really appreciated the extra touches such as complimentary champagne! The kol-kol was the highlight!

Really great place! One of few places with a hot-tub under roof with the “braai” right next to it. The house was cozy and practical. Making for a very pleasant stay. Perfect for winter and summer!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. Was a lovely and peaceful! Kristina was a great host & was responsive. The cottage was as described. The Beer Garden is also just a quick walk from the cottage & has some really good burgers.

We had such a wonderful stay here! The location is stunning and from the second we got there we just felt immediately relaxed. The view of the town and the horses is so beautiful and peaceful, the house is cozy and has everything you need, and the hot tub was clean and wonderful under the stars once it got hot. The place feels both very open while also being very private, which is rare and so nice. All the info provided was very accurate and helpful. We brought our small dog and she loved it too! Renee and Milton were very friendly and responsive hosts, and we would absolutely come back in a heartbeat.

Lovely chique accommodation, clean and fresh .If you go in winter take some warm clothes. There are bed warmers which were a life saver. The hot pool outside takes a while to warm but once it hot its incredible. Kitchen perfectly appointed and we were delighted we could take out two Schnauzers with.spent a day exploring...with a super drive past Outshoorn through Meiringspoort pass and on to Prins Albert. This Little hamlet is a must to visit....next time we will definitely spend a night or two there. The drive back via the Swartberg Pass was once in a lifetime, unforgettable beauty Will be back to this charming neck of the woods

I rented Tiny Forest for my parents as a mothersday getaway and they absolutely loved it. They felt so relaxed and refreshed after spending time there, a must stay!

We had a lovely stay at Favour Farm! The peaceful atmosphere and beautiful views made it a really relaxing getaway. Another unique touch was getting to make our own hot water in the donkey, which added a bit of rustic charm and made the stay feel even more authentic. The farm is well-kept and the surroundings are absolutely stunning — perfect for anyone wanting to disconnect and enjoy some fresh air and natural beauty. Would definitely recommend Favour Farm to anyone looking for a quiet and memorable break!

My boyfriend and i went here for our anniversary and it exceeded our expectations, the best cabin we have been to yet! Absolutely breathtaking and such a beautiful place to go and relax.

The property is out of a dream, gorgeous views, watching sunrises from the pool area while having breakfast was the highlight of our stay, one of the best homes we’ve stayed in, it’s alittle far from town but they’re still quite alot you can do around the area, Debbie our host was such an Angel, always eager to assist when we needed anything although the house gets quite chilly in the evenings but there’s a fire place and heater to keep you warm, plus heated blankets. Overall had an amazing time

Visited the place for a weekend break and we got a lot more than expected. This little gem offers peaceful surroundings, interesting walks, and we’ve never seen a place accommodate our pets so well. It was an amazing stay and we’ll be back for another break soon.

We were a group of 11 adults and 5 toddlers. This house was amazing! We've been organising one weekend away per year with the same group for the last 5 years. We've never stayed at the same house more than once, but this house will most definitely see us again soon!

Really wish we’d booked for longer. A beautiful, quiet oasis with phenomenal grounds, and great views. I was able to ‘power-down’ here and get some much needed rest. We couldn’t get the hot-tub fired up, which was a shame as the starry night’s would have been even more magical. Staff were really helpful and responsive when approached. They went out of their way when our car battery died - hunting down cables & removing the battery from their own car to give us a ‘jump start’. Thank you!! I’ll definitely be back.

This was my second time at Teri’s place, looking forward to many more 😊 Love the cozy, peaceful, artistic interior and the comfy bed. The fireplace is super effective at heating the space. Best olives I’ve met, and Teri is a gem! Bonus that Mud is just up the road with their delicious food. Thanks Teri!

I can confidently say that Mongoose Manor is the best place to stay in Franschhoek, whether it is summer or winter. We booked MM for a long weekend & had intended to spend our time hiking, but didn’t get further than a decadent lunch at Protégé, followed by a few hours in the local bookstore, after which we curled up in front of the crackling fireplace in the lounge & read. MM has become our place we escape to when feeling depleted & needing to nourish our souls. There’s nothing quite like lying in that enormous bed & watching a thunderstorm roll over the mountains in the distance, or sipping a glass of wine on the patio while observing the abundance of bird life or the hilariously mischievous squirrels outsmarting the local cat. Caro & Peer are unfailingly kind & generous, & the cottage is always stocked with yummy treats, but should you want to venture out, you are a 15mins walk from some of the top restaurants in SA & the high street. It honestly doesn’t get better than this.
