Monthly Rentals in Squirrel Lake

Our long weekend stay at The Forest Loon was great. It is super clean, includes everything in the description plus more, and peaceful, yet easy to get to. Elijah is great to communicate with - very friendly and responsive. We plan to return next time we stay in the area.

A great place to get away from all the hustle and bustle. Tyler was very timely with responses to all my questions no matter the time of day. The cabin was basic but had everything we needed for our stay. The only thing disappointing about the trip was the fishing. Unfortunately, Tyler had no control over the fish and weather.

We really enjoyed our first experience with Airbnb. We had a fun time and will definitely be looking forward to planning another trip in the near future. We tried to follow all instructions and never had any issues. We never felt a need to contact our hosts. Thank you for making our first experience with Airbnb memorable and pleasant.

Getting to the cabin was easy even though it’s nice long secluded drive off of the highway. Getting inside the cabin was easy with Nathan’s directions. The cabin was even more beautiful than the pictures showed. It’s very secluded feeling even though there are properties on both sides of the cabin. The cabin itself was a perfect blend of small old time lake cottage but with updated kitchen and bathroom. The huge fireplace in the living room made it very cozy. The enclosed back porch was our favorite place to sit and look out on to the lake through the massive pines leading down the slope to the water. Lake Shish is a beautiful, peaceful lake. The colors were just past peak but still very beautiful. We will be back for sure!
