Family-friendly holiday rentals in Spring Branch

Place was amazing but it is a smart house. We had trouble with the TV and lights hooking it up on our phones. The TV wanted us to download an app and add a credit card. The outside was amazing, especially the hot tub. Only down fall was the storm knocked the outside lights out so we swam in the dark. Overall, it was amazing!

Beautiful house with lovely amenities. We’ve stayed a few times at this location over the last five years and it’s still well maintained. Would stay again.

We had such a wonderful stay! It was relaxing and the home was so cute and comfortable. Cynthia also dropped by with the most delicious cookies! :) We will definitely be staying here again when our travels take us back to Wimberly.

This place was the cutest!! Quiet, private, beautiful, and super clean. We were very comfortable in the area. Host was awesome and super nice. Would definitely recommend. If we're in the area again, we will definitely try to stay here again. (The beds, pillows, and linens were literally the most comfortable I've ever had in any rental!!)

Our stay at this incredible lake house in Canyon Lake was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the panoramic views of the water, the peaceful surroundings, and the thoughtfully designed home. The house itself is beautifully maintained, with a perfect mix of modern comfort and rustic charm. Spacious bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and cozy common areas made it easy for our whole group to relax and enjoy our time together. The large deck overlooking the lake quickly became our favorite spot — ideal for morning coffee, afternoon lounging, and sunset dinners. One of the standout features was private lake access. We loved being able to swim, kayak, and paddleboard right from the backyard. Evenings were spent in the hot tub under the stars — truly unforgettable. The location is perfect: secluded enough to feel like a true escape, yet close enough to town for groceries.

This is a lovely home with many amenities and great space! The home is located at the end of a very quiet, small road, and is just a few blocks away from main roads. Kristin was friendly and helpful, start to finish, and we had a great stay!

We had the best week here. The place was wonderful and everything worked great. Pool area was fantastic and we loved being right on the river. The location was perfect with lots of eating establishments within walking distance. The best part was all the deer roaming around the neighborhood. Shelton was great with communication and answered all of our questions promptly.

Exactly what we were looking for. Great location. Peace and quiet for the older adults, day trips for the younger. Near to retail areas. The older guys loved the bird, squirrel and deer watching from both decks. Kitchen FULLY equipped, just bring your own food to cook at home. Hotel quality bedlinens (swoon), and beautifully decorated. Nice to catch premier league soccer on big screen on comfy couches. Came home relaxed and happy. Thanks Debbie!

We absolutely loved our stay at Maria’s place, everything was perfect and the hosts couldn’t have been more helpful and always available for queries. The view is outstanding, the cabin is beautiful, clean, cosy, and beds / linen so clean and comfortable. We even had wildlife 🦌 approach the cabin ❤️ Will certainly be back x Only thing (outwith Maria’s control) to note is that we did struggle to get Ubers to the square, we all just squeezed in 1 car and I drove, not a big issue but just if you want to be in and out of the square / town.

Wonderful location on the river and the nicest host! The unit is small but worked perfectly for our family of 4 (+ 2 dogs). We had everything we needed, and Mary Ann was so helpful and responsive. It was a nice float on the river from the dam to the last exit (just long enough). The walk back to the house is doable but I’m glad we had someone to pick us up. One thing to note, all table/chair seating is outside on the patio. There were a couple times we wished there was a small table (even if just a bistro set) inside, but definitely not that big of a deal. We had a slight scare on our last night and had to call an ambulance. Mary Ann was so kind, helpful and understanding. Couldn’t ask for a better host.

The pictures just don't do the property justice!! So peaceful, just what we needed to relax and unwind from the city. Definitely will book again!

My mother and I stayed overnight to attend a nearby concert. The place is gorgeous, you really CAN see for miles and miles! The bed was very comfortable. The house was well appointed. Both Kathy and Wayne were very responsive via text, call, and in person. I would definitely recommend and would stay at their property again the next time I'm in Dripping Springs!

My family and I had an incredible experience at this place during Memorial Day weekend. From the moment we arrived, Richard and Donna, the hosts, were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. They went above and beyond to ensure our kids had a great time. They helped them feed the deer, started a fire for s’mores, and even provided us with board games, a stocked kitchen, floats for the river, and anything else we might need. The location is incredibly convenient, just a short walk from the river. This makes it perfect for families with kids. The kids can easily explore the wildlife that comes to visit their yard as well. The home itself is clean and cozy, with everything you could need to make a comfortable stay. They are very delightful people and we can’t wait to go back again!

This is the cutest, rustic cabin! Nestled in natural greenery, comfortable decor, and a relaxing River… my adult daughter and I floated, relaxed, and enjoyed our mini-holiday SO much! We ate at Myron’s, shopped, and enjoyed NB’s farmer’s market. My little pugs ran around and napped til their hearts were content. Five Stars! Thank you for having us, Amy!

Love this place! So peaceful and quiet. My kids loved the pool. The house was perfect. Close enough to town, clean, really big, everything you could need, and the cookies were delicious!

This condo is centrally located making getting to downtown, Landa Park, the water park, and just about all N.B. offers very easy. You could walk to Wurstfest from this location. It is right on the Comal river so you can jump in the river anytime. The unit was very comfortable. You will hear the trains when they move through town since the tracks are right next to the complex so take note if you are a light sleeper.

Lovely "studio", small kitchen, sitting area and two big comfy beds. Pool and patio definitely the highlight. Quiet and peaceful. Rose was helpful and friendly (on site) but not intrusive.

We loved the location of this condo. Perfect for our small children. It was close to lots of our favorites. Jimmy was very quick to respond. We will definitely come back to this location.

Lynnae and her husband, Jeff were great hosts. The property was exactly as described in the listing. There is plenty of room for people to spread out and relax without getting in each other's way. The Guadalupe River adjoins the rear of the property and is great for tubing, or just soaking up the sun. Fortunately, our first day was warm enough for us to enjoy the river. Unfortunately, the rest of our stay was unseasonably cold and prevented us from enjoying the river and pool. In the late spring when the weather warms, this would be a wonderful place to visit. The house is just around the corner from Gruerne which has a lot of good restaurants, a music hall, and plenty of shops. New Braunfels is also five minutes away and has many shops and restaurants as well. San Antonio is only 35 minutes away and the Hill Country is the same. I highly recommend a stay at Lynnae's Gruene property.

I decided to splurge on my family visit & this didn’t disappoint. My brother lives only an hour away but we were seeing Willie at the Whitewater Ampitheater (both phenomenal) and I wanted to treat us all. Brownie points all around for my choice that are still going strong! Driving up the little hill into the driveway, we found the house nestled in among the trees with a view to the lake. Clean, stylish, roomy on the inside, my 6’4” brother was delighted with the king size bed, my daughter was delighted with the little balcony off her bedroom so she could read and watch for wildlife and we loved our big bed overlooking the front where the herd of deer gathered waiting for their corn! But the weather was perfect and we spent most of our time gathered outside in the comfy Adirondack chairs or in the screened in porch. The only sad thing about the entire time was how low the water in Canyon Lake has gotten. Pray for rain soon! Thank you, Richard. My brother will be back with his clan!

Visited this place with a big family. It was a great place that fit all of us while enjoying all the play areas and pool. I would 100% recommend.
