Monthly Rentals in Spanish Bay

Great place for an extended stay! I rented the cottage for about 2.5 months and felt very at home during my stay. Colder months in Monterey mean dressing warm, but the provided space heater kept the cottage comfortable. A small kitchenette was limited, but a provided air fryer and microwave made things more manageable. An overall peaceful, clean and great stay!

Great place to stretch out and relax, with so much natural light that we rarely needed to turn on the overhead lights. We enjoyed cozying up in front of the fireplace and hanging out on the back porch. The well-stocked kitchen made it easy to prepare meals. The house is in a lovely neighborhood with an easy walk to the beach. Easy to access the heart of town on foot or by car. My only note would be to bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper, as one of the bedrooms is next to a busy road.

What a gem! Perfect location! Absolutely peaceful, which was a huge selling point for us. Walking distance to the ocean and nature paths. Cozy and roomy inside. Highly recommend. Sarah and Young were exceptional and responsive hosts! Thank you both for everything, and being a part of creating memories for my family and I! :)

The property itself and its location are unique and iconic -- a large piece of old Pacific Grove near the legendary Asilomar coastline. The house is 100 years old and quirky, but spacious and comfortable for 3 or 4 people. Tamara is kind and generous, though not always available on short notice. Overall, I loved staying there, hated to leave, and would return in a heartbeat.
