Holiday rentals with breakfast in Southern France

Where to even start! Cyril is an AMAZING host and such an extremely kind and joyous person to talk to! We had great communication with check in/out, as well as he gave us recommendations as to what to do nearby when our original plans fell through! The kitchen was fully stocked with fresh juice, jams, and butter, as well as breakfast delivered to us each morning! This has been my favorite airbnb stay of all time, and really made for such a local feel to our trip. I can’t wait to come back the next time I’m in AIX; my fiancé and I had such a great time and can’t recommend Cyril’s place enough!

The stay at villa of Dominique and his lovely wife was amazing! The location !! It deserves a separate chapter! Only 12 mins by bus from bustling Nice and you are in your very own little paradise! Everything was thought through to the smallest details. It was by far the best Airbnb experience. I have never felt that welcomed on vacation. You could feel home away from home. You can explore this villa alone all day long, as it is full of beautiful details! Small garden, terrace, hammock…. When you are there - you don’t want to leave .. And you have all the amenities you can only think of. But one thing that stood out the most was HOSPITALITY of Dominique and his wife! Thank you, merci, grazie, дякую! I hope you will have an amazing trip in winter☺️ And we will definitely come back ❤️

We needed to enjoy a moment of calm, to rest for a long weekend of three days. The listing at this address seemed ideal, the comments all unanimous... and well... it's even better than we could have hoped. The loft is very comfortable, spacious, beautifully decorated, a rare cleanliness... the best thing is the little touches all around you. The exterior is also very neat, swimming pool, jacuzzi accessible at any time and private, there is everything you need to feel good. Well, we could go on for a long time with the superlatives... breakfasts... meals... massages... but the icing on the cake is the hosts Anne-Lise and Frédéric... whose kindness and discretion complete this perfect and timeless moment. Sara was the best. The Apartment was perfect. We cooked 2 dinners there with fresh food from the small grocery store we walked to in the nearby Govone. We loved the views from the chairs in the yard. Bed was very comfortable. The Apartment was very spacious and had everything.

When we arrived with our one-year-old daughter, we were warmly welcomed. After Harmke briefly showed us everything, we enjoyed the time with our daughter in the huge, beautifully landscaped garden and in the refreshing saltwater pool. A baby bed on request was not an issue. Unfortunately, we only stayed for one night, but we enjoyed the time at Harmke very much and felt welcome. We especially liked the lovingly prepared breakfast basket waiting for us at our door. We found a nice picnic spot in the huge garden and were all alone. We definitely want to come!

Lovely place to stay, a little oasis with a secluded garden and pool hidden from the road, which we thoroughly enjoyed using. Anne was lovely and welcoming and happy to provide lots of suggestions throughout our stay. Lots of lovely touches - we had food in our fridge, fruit to eat and she left us a basket of fresh bread on our first morning there. Great location, easy to walk to the river and all the shops but close to public transport when needed.

An excellent apartment that could not be faulted. Lelia was very friendly and easy to communicate with and the holiday we had was superb, thanks in no small way by the quality and location of the apartment.

We loved the clear instructions to get in and use every space in the place. So well organized... Congrats for that!

David’s place was excellent. Great location, close to all you need. We particularly loved the terrace. David was the most responsive host and gave us many recommendations for what to do, food to try, wine and restaurants. He was in constant communication to ensure we had all we needed. Would 10/10 recommend.

Valeria is a gracious, considerate, responsive host who has made sure you have everything you need in this beautiful, immaculately clean, well-located apartment. You can walk to the Duomo in 15 minutes; the metro is about 4 blocks away. You’ll find coffee and some yummy snacks waiting for you in the cupboard and fridge. I slept well in the comfy bed. The bedroom windows open on to a courtyard where birds sing in the morning and early evening. I loved coming home to this private, peaceful place at the end of a hot day of touring among the throngs. One thing to note — and this is NOT a criticism or complaint: If you have mobility issues, the high sides of the standard European tub may be a challenge for accessing the shower. Bottom line: If I ever return to Milan, this is where I want to stay.

What a gorgeous place to stay! I hoped it would be great and it was even better than I imagined. A truly unique experience. The apartment had everything you need and Apollo as well. What more can I say?

Loved this airbnb. Lyon is a great city and the location of the apartment made it easy to explore various areas. Everything you need is very close by. Alain was super kind and helpful and a gracious host. The kitchen is very well equipped and would be a great kitchen to cook in if you have time. Highly recommended!

The location is incredible! Loved being so close to the action and it’s a very cute apartment with lots of character. The apartment was as described and how it was shown on the pictures. It’s more like a 1 bedroom apartment since there is no privacy but we made it work for our family of 4. And there is definitely noise from the outside so sleeping on the couch can be challenging without earplugs. Viorel was very helpful with letting us leave luggage before check in time and after check out time so we really appreciated that. Overall good experience!

The best apartment we have stayed in over 35 stays in Italy over 7 years. The additional touches (cake, fruit, milk etc) ensured that this stay was unique in our eyes. A beautifully renovated apartment that was central to all Torino has to offer. Can’t rate high enough

A truly special and memorable stay! Sleeping under the stars in the fresh mountain air was such a unique experience — especially when it’s 32°C in the valley and a cool, refreshing 10–20°C up in the hills. The outdoor bed was surprisingly cozy, and waking up to birdsong and alpine views felt magical. The location is already within the hiking zone, so it’s very convenient for nature lovers. Just a gentle note: since the lodge is isolated, and there’s no one around at night, it might feel a bit unfamiliar for those who aren’t used to sleeping so close to nature. Highly recommend for anyone looking to disconnect and reconnect with nature.

Most peaceful stay! Beautiful grounds & excellent breakfast. Stay longer than you think you need - there is a lot to do in the area.

Marilies was very helpful recommending local restaurants her home is beautiful and in a fantastic location nothing was too much trouble and we enjoyed the breakfast every morning. Would recommend going and will definitely be going back in the near future.

We had an amazing time at Richard and Philippe's! The benevolence and kindness of the hosts are as important as the accommodation. The place is peaceful, the gardens are splendid and very well maintained, the pool is ideal for resting after a day of walking. R&P know the best restaurants, activities, and places to visit! Every day we followed the recommendations and we were never disappointed. Let's not forget breakfast, Richard's cakes and Philippe's homemade jams are already missing. Save us a place for years to come! (and a big shout out to Thierry)

This place is magical!! You have to get the sky loft room with the bathtub an breathtaking views of Lake Lucerne. You did need a rental car to book this place. But it’s worth it.

A real stroke of luck! The house is at the end of the steep road, not for lazy walkers ;) but the path already reveals the wonderful view! The hostess and her son are very, very friendly and helpful (thank you again for the very flexible breakfast times🤲). The apartment under the roof is very cozy, you can also carry dinner into the garden and enjoy it there with the best view. The garden tops every accommodation I've visited so far. From the house, you can hike directly into the forest, climb, paraglide or visit the many small towns on the lake and swim. It is best to travel by car. There are plenty of shopping opportunities and markets nearby. We were really thrilled and enjoyed being with you.
