Houseboat holiday rentals in Southern France

Unusual accommodation exactly what we were looking for for our Christmas vacation. There would certainly be another way to moor the boat because the squeaking of the rope on the hull somewhat disrupts sleep. An excellent position facing the Château de Saumur and a well-equipped boat to have a pleasant stay on the Loire.

We stayed at this unique place over Pentecost. It is very private and was even far better than the photos show. Very modern and extremely clean. The bikes on site were really great and there are very nice paths along the canal. Urs' breakfast right at the lock was another highlight. Everything you need is there and the excursions in the area were very nice. We will be happy to come back.

A magical place to stay! can't recommend enough. if Gérard asks if you want the hot tub then YES YOU WANT THE HOT TUB! A perfect way to watch the sunset. Close to the big food market and Cite Du Vin. Peaceful sleeps. Excellent communication.

A 5/5 because it is not possible to put more stars… this cabin boat on the water is a real haven of peace. It was an unforgettable experience for us. The accommodation is beautifully furnished. Everything was thought out in detail, it was clean and even more surprising in real life than in the photos. We thank Nicolas for creating this little corner of paradise, we will come back, for sure!!

Total change of scenery, trip to the heart of the city... Phileas is very pleasant to live in, nice decor and small terrace a plus!! Not to mention the sunroof of the barge... A real treat... On the other hand, parking nearby is quite expensive... even if free on Sundays... Small nice restaurant, bakery nearby for breakfast on the terrace

A fantastic and magical place, highly recommended, beautiful pond, breakfast bar and restaurant. There is the possibility of various activities and the spa with massages we could not do it that we did not have the costume, but we count for next time!

We just spent a night in this accommodation. What can I say, everything was perfect. Andrea was immediately kind and helpful, answering all my questions. The accommodation is something truly magical. The aperitif service and breakfast, brought directly by Andrea at the time we chose, made everything even more wonderful. I absolutely recommend this place, for a weekend of relaxation and romance. Congratulations on the originality.

Beautiful discovery in a peaceful setting, close to the Via Rhôna, the vineyards and Vienna. The barge is well maintained and the accommodation furnished with care. Special mention for the covered terrace, ideal for relaxing if the weather allows. Thank you to Florence for her warm welcome and for her little attention to the alarm clock.

Very quiet, great houseboat, nice restaurant (MASH) ate super. I'd love to come back. We recommend it.

My stay at Marie-Laure's was perfect! An unusual, peaceful, impeccable accommodation. I loved living on the barge, which is bigger than in the photos (good surprise). The aperitifs at sunset on the terrace were fantastic. The place is beautiful. Marie-Laure is an accessible host, very accommodating, responsive and warm. I would highly recommend it! It was a very pleasant and very special stay. We found the place clean and tidy. The host was always available and communication was clear, easy, and friendly. The area is very quiet and really worth it!

Staying in the houseboat of Florence was a unique experience. The view at the water is magical, the spaces are arranged with great taste and are very convenient. Florence and Gil welcomed us as if we were longtime friends. A very nice experience that I warmly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay! Communication with the host was clear, friendly, and very helpful. The area is absolutely beautiful, and the view from the boat was stunning. The jacuzzi was amazing and really added to the relaxing atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!
