Holiday rentals with breakfast in Southern France

Dit was voor ons een tussenstop, maar we hadden er makkelijk nog een paar extra dagen kunnen blijven vanwege de locatie en de mooie omgeving

What a gem of a place and hosts! We traveled to quite a few places during our 2.5 week trip through Europe, and this was by far our favorite stay. Located in the Luberon Valley in the medieval town of Ménerbes, Provence, you only had to look outside of your window to see the vibrant purple shades of the blooming summer lavenders and lavandines. The stay was well appointed with everything you’d need, and the private courtyard provided breathtaking views of the valleys and nearby mountains. The town and stay are rich in history - you’ll enjoy learning about it from hosts Maria and Francois, who are absolutely delightful. A beautiful breakfast of local fresh fruits, pastries, eggs and yogurt was provided, which gave us enough fuel for a long day of walking and sightseeing. My favorite part of it all were the conversations we had with Maria and Francois over breakfast - they’re quite charming and funny; we exchanged stories of our lives and travels. Highly recommend this stay!

Monica and Luciano are wonderfull hosts. First of all their house is located at a top position with a unique view on the lago and inside the house you experience the atmosphere of a nice environment in any detail and in any aspect. You breath the Italian hospitality. Monica and Luciano treated us in a fantastisc way and they provided is with so much enthousiastic information to make our stay “indimenticabile”. We will never forget the Centovalli experience. Grazie mille e a la prossima volta……

The stay at villa of Dominique and his lovely wife was amazing! The location !! It deserves a separate chapter! Only 12 mins by bus from bustling Nice and you are in your very own little paradise! Everything was thought through to the smallest details. It was by far the best Airbnb experience. I have never felt that welcomed on vacation. You could feel home away from home. You can explore this villa alone all day long, as it is full of beautiful details! Small garden, terrace, hammock…. When you are there - you don’t want to leave .. And you have all the amenities you can only think of. But one thing that stood out the most was HOSPITALITY of Dominique and his wife! Thank you, merci, grazie, дякую! I hope you will have an amazing trip in winter☺️ And we will definitely come back ❤️

Sara was the best. The Apartment was perfect. We cooked 2 dinners there with fresh food from the small grocery store we walked to in the nearby Govone. We loved the views from the chairs in the yard. Bed was very comfortable. The Apartment was very spacious and had everything.

Als wir mit unserer einjährigen Tochter anreisten, wurden wir herzlich begrüßt. Nachdem Harmke uns kurz alles gezeigt hatte, genossen wir die Zeit mit unserer Tochter im riesigen, schön angelegten Garten und im erfrischenden Salzwasserpool. Ein Babybett auf Anfrage war kein Problem. Leider blieben wir nur für eine Nacht, dennoch haben wir die Zeit bei Harmke sehr genossen und uns willkommen gefühlt. Besonders nett fanden wir den liebevoll zubereiteten Frühstückskorb der vor unserer Tür wartete. Wir haben uns im riesigen Garten einen schönen Picknickplatz gesucht und waren ganz alleine. Wir wollen definitiv wiederkommen!

Alloggio con uno splendido affaccio sul golfo che, da solo, varrebbe il viaggio. Pulizia impeccabile e dotazione perfetta per una vacanza rilassante. Vicino ai servizi e al mare cui si accede con facilità. Consigliatissimo, speriamo di poterci tornare

An excellent apartment that could not be faulted. Lelia was very friendly and easy to communicate with and the holiday we had was superb, thanks in no small way by the quality and location of the apartment.

Anna has a lovely place located close to the central street & close enough to the train station. The patio has a beautiful view of the water & colourful houses. Great spot for a morning coffee or glass of wine at the end of the night. The place is spacious. Anna provides step by step photos to get you to her location which were very helpful. Highly recommend this spot & host if you are travelling to Cinque Terre!

Foi uma experiência muito, muito agradável. Nice e o apartamento de David se juntaram para fazer o que avaliamos ser a melhor combinação possível para termos dias tão agradáveis quanto foram esses. O apartamento superou nossas expectativas em todos os aspectos: localização privilegiada, decoração acolhedora e funcionalidade impecável. Cada detalhe foi pensado para proporcionar conforto e praticidade aos hóspedes. A limpeza estava impecável e todos os equipamentos funcionaram perfeitamente. A localização é simplesmente perfeita - próxima aos principais pontos turísticos, restaurantes charmosos e com fácil acesso ao transporte público. Poder caminhar até a Promenade des Anglais e o centro histórico foi um diferencial enorme. David como anfitrião foi excepcional: comunicação clara e rápida, check-in tranquilo e sempre disponível para esclarecer dúvidas e dar dicas valiosas sobre a cidade. Valeria is a gracious, considerate, responsive host who has made sure you have everything you need in this beautiful, immaculately clean, well-located apartment. You can walk to the Duomo in 15 minutes; the metro is about 4 blocks away. You’ll find coffee and some yummy snacks waiting for you in the cupboard and fridge. I slept well in the comfy bed. The bedroom windows open on to a courtyard where birds sing in the morning and early evening. I loved coming home to this private, peaceful place at the end of a hot day of touring among the throngs. One thing to note — and this is NOT a criticism or complaint: If you have mobility issues, the high sides of the standard European tub may be a challenge for accessing the shower. Bottom line: If I ever return to Milan, this is where I want to stay.

Es war unsere erste Reise mit Baby, aber dank Annas Fürsorge fühlten wir uns völlig unbegründet besorgt, wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt. Alles, was man brauchen könnte, war durchdacht und genau am richtigen Platz. Man merkt, dass die Einrichtung mit viel Liebe und Sorgfalt ausgewählt wurde, nichts war zufällig oder lieblos. Trotz der sommerlichen Hitze war es im Haus angenehm kühl, die Luft zirkulierte gut und wir konnten wirklich zur Ruhe kommen. Ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt. Grazie di tutto, Anna. Anna and Alessio are fabulous hosts. Quick to respond to any request, leaving gifts like wine, focaccia and the best limoncello I have every tasted and just really nice people. The apartment is very clean, well equipped, spacious and comfortable. It is so great that this is our second stay here. It was like coming home. It also has a balcony with the most amazing views. A garden that you can sit , relax and drink wine. This is our favorite place in Italy.

We had a wonderfully stay. We were met at the property on arrival. The apartment had a rustic charm to it and the furnishing had been carefully chosen to reflect this. All very tasteful and a joy to stay in. Breakfast items and water were left for our use. Very responsive and friendly hosts who offered lots of suggestions for restaurants and bars in the area. Lastly, the area is very quiet at night.

Alloggio stupendo, posizione tranquilla e sicura perché situata tra la questura ed il comando dei vigili. Meravigliosa l’accoglienza di Alberto che si è dimostrato disponibile e molto reattivo nei contatti. Cosa dire della cupola…. Sembra di essere in una sorta di museo/casa d’epoca ma con le comodità moderne. Ottimo il restauro effettuato e davvero meravigliosi i mobili in stile. L’unico lato negativo è stato dover purtroppo tornare a casa e quindi lasciare un posto così speciale.

Die Unterkunft hatte einen traumhaften Ausblick. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und sehr gepflegt. Wir werden nochmal kommen ☺️

Nous avons passé 5 jours fabuleux chez Silvio. La suite est très confortable, raffinée et très calme. La vue sur la mer est époustouflante et le jardin extrêmement bien entretenu avec des arbres et des fleurs incroyables ! Le logement est à la fois en pleine nature avec la mer juste en contre bas pour nager et également tout près du centre ville à pied pour les restaurants, boutiques et activités. Mais, pour nous, la plus belle surprise a été la piscine. Nous n’avions jamais nagé dans une piscine aussi agréable et romantique. Nous avons apprécié toutes les petites attentions dans le logement très bien équipé et le garage intérieur pour notre voiture. Nous avons été très bien accueillis à la fois par messages et sur place par Silvio et sa maman Daniela. Merci à vous de partager cet endroit merveilleux !

Most peaceful stay! Beautiful grounds & excellent breakfast. Stay longer than you think you need - there is a lot to do in the area.

Om te beginnen bij de eigenaren Stefania&Alberto zij waren zo lief , behulpzaam & en regelde alles. Bijvoorbeeld voor tips qua etentjes of winkeltjes waar je iets wilt halen of prachtige plekken waar je naar toe kan. En reageren heel snel op berichtjes. Zij nemen echt de tijd met je voor een praatje. De Casetta was super schoon en rustgevend en wat een prachtige passie. Vooral de privé tuin/ zwembad was heerlijk, het zwembad werd elke ochtend door Alberto schoongemaakt en bijgevuld. Ook zelfs het hout werd bijgevuld voor de vuurkorf. Stefania&Alberto doen er echt alles aan om je te laten ontspannen en je vakantie zo rustig mogelijk te laten verlopen. De tuin is perfect voor honden je kan ze heerlijk loslaten en volledig genieten van de rust om je heen. Kortom alles was meer dan perfect 🤩 ❤️👌. Nous avons passé un incroyable séjour chez Richard et Philippe ! La bienveillance et la gentillesse des hôtes sont aussi importants que le logement. Le lieu est paisible, les jardins sont splendides et très bien entretenus, la piscine est idéale pour se reposer après une journée de balade. R&P connaissent les meilleurs restaurants, activités, et visites à faire ! Chaque jour nous suivions les recommandations et nous n’avons jamais été déçu. N’oublions pas le petit déjeuner, les gâteaux de Richard et les confitures maison de Philippe nous manquent déjà. Gardez-nous une place pour les années à venir ! (et petit bigup à Thierry)

This place is magical!! You have to get the sky loft room with the bathtub an breathtaking views of Lake Lucerne. You did need a rental car to book this place. But it’s worth it.

Barbara was such a lovely and welcoming host, incredibly friendly and always ready to help. The breakfast each morning was so thoughtful and delicious, and made my stay feel extra special. She truly went above and beyond, even offering to drop me to the nearest public transport, which made such a difference during my trip. I felt so well looked after and would absolutely stay again. Very nice host and a wonderful place to stay

C était notre troisième séjour chez Philippe et Mireille et nous recommandons le Patio 53 à 100%. Le jardin, la piscine et tout l ensemble sont vraiment magnifiques. En plus Philippe et Mireille ont des très utiles recommandations pour des restaurants et lieux à visiter dans le coin. Vous pouvez être sur d y vivre un très beau séjour dans un cadre apaisante.
