Seaview Cottage on the Island

ZoeRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a beautiful stay at Seaview Cottage. Niall was there to greet us on arrival and show us around. The attention to detail and little touches made us feel so welcome along with the friendly host and unbelievable views made for a peaceful and relaxing stay. We highly recommend staying at Niall and Janeen’s cottage, thank you both very much for having us!

200 Year old stone cottage

MarshaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The cottage was so charming, cozy and exactly as pictured. The bed was so comfortable I wish I had it at my house! We arrived a little earlier than planned and they worked with us to get us in early! There was a little grocery just down the road that had everything we needed to make a meal. We would definitely recommend to anyone traveling to see the Giants causeway. Extremely convenient!

Spacious house with simply stunning views of Arran

KerryRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
My family and I stayed here for a long weekend to celebrate my dad’s 60th birthday. The house was great, very spacious with everything you need. Great surroundings and most beautiful views over the sea. Lovely walks around about. And a really nice restaurant just a 5 minute walk away called the Anchorage, the food was 10/10. Everyone really enjoyed the trip here and we’d definitely love to visit again.

Cozy Victorian Cottage - Ballynacree Cottage 1

RuthRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Carolyn was there to welcome us to her beautiful cottage. It had all the character of the old buildings and country side. Hot tub was class and the cottage itself was clean and had everything we needed. Carolyn could not have been more friendly or helpful. We had the best time at her place and would definitely return!

Kilcoobin Cottage - 1 mile from Giants Causeway

JaneRating, 5 stars1 day ago
We really loved Kilcoobin Cottage. It is so comfortable and so spacious. The way the kitchen opens out into the sitting room makes for such great living space. The kitchen is really equipped with a big fridge freezer and a huge range cooker. The windows are all big so the house is really bright and you can enjoy the views from every room. I also loved the fact that there were three different doors to the outside so you easily spill out into the beautiful garden. It was great being able to walk to Giants Causeway to watch the sunset, and we had a brilliant visit to Dunluce Castle. Bushmills is a fab little town with lovely cafes and art galleries. Our absolute favourite visit was to White Rocks beach near Portrush only 10mins away. Kilcoobin is the perfect base for a relaxing, happy holiday. We thoroughly recommend it.

Ashbrook Cottage

Paul and Laura’s place is a charming cottage with easy access to the Giant’s Causeway and other nearby attractions. The cottage has a lovely old-world feel and was the perfect spot for some well-earned rest and relaxation during our tour of the area. Paul and Laura were kind and helpful in all our interactions. I highly recommend their cozy and welcoming cottage.

Country Cottage/ Beach 10mins/ Portpatrick 15mins

AlisonRating, 5 stars1 day ago
This was perhaps the best Airbnb we've ever stayed in, and if you like calm, elegant, beautifully decorated, spacious accommodation you will also love it. It has such a relaxing atmosphere, and although the owners are in the adjoining house there is always a sense of peace and privacy. Gorgeous gardens, too, with views out of the windows into the greenery. The free-standing-bath-in-the-bedroom experience is every bit as good as you'd imagine, and the bedlinen, duvet and pillows are high quality and really comfortable. The kitchen has everything you'd need, including storage space for your own food. Not all cottage owners think of that, but Philip and Lesley have. We are very grateful to them for turning this wing of the house into such a wonderful place to stay.

Pirnmill Home with a view

CaroleRating, 5 stars4 days ago
This little cottage is located in an ideal setting opposite a pebble beach which my Beardie absolutely loved. The sound of the gentle lapping of the waves was so soothing in the evenings. Whilst the cottage is not close to many amenities it was only a shortish drive to everywhere. The scenery all around was absolutely stunning and Sue was a mind of information and recommendations. The cottage was very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. We enjoyed a very welcome break at Rose cottage - our 4 legged friend enjoying the most!

Crofters Cottage, Lyrabus Moor Croft

StanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A comfortable, well-equipped and nicely organised bungalow in a very rural setting - distant views, big skies and lots of birds (and hares). Fairly central on Islay and not too far from Bridgend and Bowmore (with a car) - we didn't find ourselves constantly driving along the same roads, which would be the case had we stayed in one corner of the island. We cooked our own meals most evenings and found most of the things we wanted - maybe bring a pair of kitchen scissors.

2 bedroom renovated barn with sea views

MarkRating, 5 stars4 days ago
A lovely spacious property, ideal for dogs with plenty of room indoors and out for them while we humans relaxed. The owner was really friendly with a dog of his own. The property had all the facilities for our needs and we had a relaxing time. It was lovely to see the beautiful view of Arran as we laid in bed.

Sarah's Cottage in Portballintrae, Ireland

HeatherRating, 5 stars1 week ago
'Sarah's Cottage ' was exactly as seen on website and very clean with all the the necessary equipment for self catering (not that we ate in as there are plenty of restaurants and cafes close by in Bushmills). It is easy to walk to the coast or into Bushmills or to travel further to all the tourist spots along the north coast. Would definitely recommend.

Isle of Arran Crofter's Cottage at Heather Park

MaureenRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Kevin was a fantastic host, and his directions to the cottage were perfect (thank you). I was unprepared for how beautiful the view was IRL and I loved the interior decor with amazing art work and sculptures, showcasing local artists. The home felt like a well curated art museum but with all the comforts of home. I also really enjoyed identifying the birds visiting the bird feeders in the garden (especially from the kitchen, and thank you for the book of birds left there for handy reference). I wish we had more time in the house and on the island but we will be back. I would definitely recommend Kevin’s cottage for a visit to Arran

Would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone. Thank you Sean for letting my family stay at Maggies cottage . Ps my girls loved the sheep in the field.

A comfortable self contained annex

JamieRating, 5 starstoday
I had a great time at Lynda and Pete’s place. I had a very warm welcome and they were both very helpful with local recommendations etc. the house was spotlessly clean, and probably the cleanest rental I’ve ever stayed in. It was very well equipped - kitchen was over and above what you would usually get in an Airbnb. I like my cooking and they had everything in there you could ever want (or I could ever want anyway). A bbq can be provided as well which I used twice and was excellent. The location is stunning . I was able to walk down the drive and go swimming with seals. There are multiple restaurants in lamlash within walking distance the best of which is also the closest - drift inn. Which has excellent service and by far the most varied menu. In short I can’t wait to come back and thank you hey for an amazing time!

“The Undercroft” at Fairview Cottage, ocean views

HelenRating, 5 stars1 day ago
We had a great stay. The kids loved the garden with swing and animals! The house was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Marguerite was incredibly responsive and very helpful. Really friendly and warm. The house was located really close to hotel, which was nice. Great access to beach and town by car and excellent location in general for North coast and all it has to offer. We would recommend to all! thank you, Helen
