Holiday rentals with a fire pit in South Orange Village

This places was ideal for our annual friends trip. All the space we needed, easy access to transit and great hosts!

The apartment is excellent! We very much enjoyed our stay and would be glad to visit again. It is spacious, well equipped with all items for all occasions, and nicely decorated. Everything was very clean and convenient. The location is peaceful and quiet, yet only a 10-minute easy drive from Princeton.

We had a great time at Luz’s place. She was very responsive and proactive. The place itself is perfect for a couple and the views/lake access are the biggest perk. Very close to many great restaurants (all within a 7 min drive) and not far from other great places if you don’t mind driving a bit further. It was the perfect place for a long weekend and we hope to be back soon!

It is quite a drive from NYC because of traffic, but the house is big and the neighborhood was pretty quiet and felt safe! The house is beautiful and clean and very accommodating!

I came up to Jersey City with a few friends for a weekend event and needed a quiet, comfortable place to stay. Mary Jean's house was absolutely perfect. It was beautiful, pristine and so comfortable. The house is decorated with high-end finishes that still retain their historical charm. It comes with a gated parking space (no having to search for parking on narrow, busy streets) and was quiet and comfortable. Mary Jean was also so personable and readily available for advice on restaurants and things to do. I will definitely plan on staying here again for future events in Jersey City!!

This place in Lake Hopatcong was beautiful, even in the rain. We saw deer and a red fox! All from the comfort of the area under the deck. Close to all the amenities and really lovely. Will totally stay there again the next time I’m in north Jersey.

Dave and his wife Lorena were very helpful and very communicative. Had no problems whatsoever during my stay. The neighborhood is little far from Manhattan (30+ mins by bus), but that is to be expected by the price you're paying. Very much recommended.

I really enjoyed my stay here! The place is beautiful and very clean. If I ever get the chance to come back, I would definitely stay here again.

I have stayed here multiple times and plan on booking Zenobia place again. It is a clean, quiet and just a beautiful place to stay. It gets better every time. Zenobia’s place is highly recommended….you won’t regret booking this place.

Such a cute spot to stay while town for a few days. As noted in the listing, parking can be a bit of a challenge but that’s city life for you. We’re (former) locals so the neighborhood was very familiar, safe and quiet. The apartment was great, very cozy, and Brooke was fantastic at communication, very responsive and helpful. Overall I would recommend and would stay here again.

Fantastic design, everything fresh and updated, and the special touches and messages helped us feel right at home. We stayed monday through saturday, and the neighborhood felt quiet and quintessentially charming. We used public transport which was readily available, once we got the hang of New Jersey's terminal (there is always someone there to help you find where bus will be, since app will not show gate). We found that google maps usually recommended bus 154 or 159 which arrive more frequently and are only an additional block away from the closest bus route which was literally just around the corner. We will definitely stay here again! Cecia was the ideal hostess.

We had an exceptional stay with Sergia, who made us feel warmly welcomed and truly at home. The apartment's location is perfect, offering a serene atmosphere in North Jersey while being conveniently close to New York City, with a bus stop right outside the door. Sergia's hospitality was outstanding. She offered early check-in and provided thoughtful touches like snacks and amenities throughout the apartment. We also loved spending time with her adorable dog Gordito! The on-site parking was a great bonus. Overall, we highly recommend Sergia's apartment. It’s a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay. Perfect doesn't even begin to describe it!

Michael was very hospitable, he made me and my dog feel right at home. He was super kind to my dog, and let her run around his backyard. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable, and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. There were also miles of trails not even a block from his home.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay! The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable visit. Sparta was perfect for a weekend away. It was a short walk away from a beautiful private lake and quiet and relaxing. Mario was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making check-in seamless. It truly felt like a home away from home. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful stay.

I would highly recommend this listing. The cabin was very comfortable, cozy and clean. Our host was very kind and generous plus very knowledgeable about the local area.

I booked this property as a kind of ad hoc writing retreat. It was the perfect location to complete what work I needed to do. A quick drive into Sparta for restaurants and supplies also made this a great location.

Lisa was very helpful and quick to respond when needed. The place is gorgeous and cozy, felt right at home. Plenty of towels, blankets, pillows to use. Amenities were perfect! Had a great time.
