Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Essex County

It was a great place to stay for the weekend and it’s easier and closer to NY.

It is quite a drive from NYC because of traffic, but the house is big and the neighborhood was pretty quiet and felt safe! The house is beautiful and clean and very accommodating!

Milena is an excellent host. She’s extremely responsive and helpful. The apartment is exactly as shown in the photos and exactly as described. Cosy, clean, safe and in a beautiful neighborhood, just a few steps away from a wonderful park. Several restaurants and a great bookstore/cafe are only a 20 minute walk away and there’s a direct train into Manhattan. I felt instantly at home—would definitely come back again and will absolutely recommend Milena’s place to my friends. Thanks for a great stay, Milena.

This house is gorgeous! Not only were we able to have a lovely bon fire in the backyard, but the house is very close to town, and not too far from NYC. Along with an amazing backyard the house had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Shante’s home! We used to live in the area and had returned for a family event. The house was easily accessible and exactly as described. The fun basement set up left no shortage of places to hang out, and the 5 bedrooms let us stretch out. We were able to do laundry, play games and spend LOTS of time in the excellent back yard! Not only did Shante have kid and baby gear for us (kids are 7, 4 and 1), but a wonderful Canterbury park was just a 5 minute walk away!! We spent hours in the yard and at the park! We had every item we needed in the house, and enjoyed visiting our old neighborhood!! Shante was great to work with and extremely responsive, we will definitely be back again soon!!

Richard is a great host first and foremost. He was very responsive and accommodating. During my first night, we had a hiccup with the air conditioner not working and he worked very quickly to get it repaired for the rest of my trip. The house looks just like the pictures which I thought was great. Would definitely recommend this home. Also, I love the amount of space that you have if you’re staying in a big group.

Everything was smooth and easy going, the host was very responsive, the check in and out was easy and my family and I was very happy with our stay, the location was perfect also the configuration of the unit was lovely with everything in one place, it was just easy for us, I would recommend this place to anyone and we would be a repeat guess in the future. I have stayed here multiple times and plan on booking Zenobia place again. It is a clean, quiet and just a beautiful place to stay. It gets better every time. Zenobia’s place is highly recommended….you won’t regret booking this place.

To be honest, I was a little skeptical as I walked up the stairs, but the accommodations exceeded my expectations. The space was clean and thoughtfully arranged, and the little touches throughout made the place feel cared for rather than just prepared. From the moment we settled in, it felt like a mini escape. The toiletries in the bathroom were a nice touch, giving me the sense of being tucked away at a boutique retreat. The air hockey table was a total highlight—my daughter and I laughed and played for hours, and it made us feel instantly at home. I don’t want to overpromise, because every stay is different, but for us, this place was amazing. I would not hesitate to rebook in a heartbeat. There were so many good things, and the value is truly unbeatable.

Overall we were very satisfied with the apartment, the location and the cleanliness for what we paid. The only disappointment was the fact that it is a sub-basement apartment with very little natural light coming in. This was not clear to us at the time of booking. AB Marketing were. very responsive to the requests and. delivery of additional pillows and towels. On street parking could be an issue if staying during week days as much of the local parking requires a residential permit. The off street driveway at the apartment was constantly occupied. The points I raise above are only minor issues for us and did not detract from our time there. We would definitely stay there again or at any other property AB Marketing operate.

Wow! Just like the photos and then some. My family and I were very comfortable at Joe’s place. It was conveniently located near to everything we came into town to do. A gem of a place!

This Place superceded expectation. I never expected that much of the House, the Hosts, the Location, and the LOGISTICS of getting around New York, Newark, Jersey City, Hoboken, Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, etc. whether by Bus, by Train, by by Uber, by Lift. Very Cheap, all at your finger tips. Right around the clock. 24hrs. You will have all you need inside the room and inside the bathroom. Most impressive is the Shared Bathroom which is kept very well by the Host on site on a regular basis. Taswiyah and Habibah are very kind, very caring. Right by your side. It is the perfect experience. Very good place to stay. Highly recommended.

Staying at D’s place exceeded every expectation and was the perfect spot to host my brother’s first time to the US!! Was always available and a text away, perfect location to take the 107 bus if you need to get to NYC! D is a friendly guy and so helpful, a genuine kind guy. He goes ABOVE and BEYOND and the pictures already convinced me, but the space in person left me in awe. He keeps it so NICE. Definitely would recommend and would without a shadow of a doubt, visit again. Grateful and beyond satisfied. Thank you D :)

Michael was very hospitable, he made me and my dog feel right at home. He was super kind to my dog, and let her run around his backyard. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable, and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. There were also miles of trails not even a block from his home.

I would highly recommend this listing. The cabin was very comfortable, cozy and clean. Our host was very kind and generous plus very knowledgeable about the local area.

Lisa was very helpful and quick to respond when needed. The place is gorgeous and cozy, felt right at home. Plenty of towels, blankets, pillows to use. Amenities were perfect! Had a great time.
