Cabin holiday rentals in South-East Melbourne

This place was nothing short of amazing. The photos did not do it justice, as soon as we opened the door we were impressed. The room was immaculate, the bed and linen was great quality and the room smelt amazing. We enjoyed a wine tasting where we were easily able to walk back to our room, there was also a picnic basket that we took out and enjoyed some wine while still being at the vineyard. I would stay here again and certainly would recommend it to anyone who is looking to enjoy a peaceful environment.

What a little gem of a place! Absolutely loved the Provincial cottage at Belle Le Vie. It looks exactly as the photos and description. It was super clean, cosy and comfy. With a forest view, very private from nearby cottages, you could hear the birds and rustling of the trees. The place has netflix to enjoy at your leisure and the spa was great for two people. Breakfast was also a nice touch, with home made loaf of bread, muesli, fruit, yoghurt, milk, tea & Map pod coffee machine. We will definitely reccommend and return to this goegeous cottage. Absolutely charming little cottage abode full of character! we absolutely adored our stay here, and the bathtub was just heavenly! so much care and attention to detail, from hand written notes to a generously equipped kitchen with treats to boot! treat yourself to this magical stay ✨

We stayed two nights at the Gate House Cottage. It was perfect! The cottage was very clean and had beautiful furnishings and decor. The architecture and stain glass windows were gorgeous. I am a fussy person and I couldn’t fault it. Quiet. Super comfy bed. All the little extra touches and yum breakfast supplies. Everything we needed for our stay. We have stayed at the Island many times and this was our first st Rhyll. We will definitely be back to stay again.

Great stay, short drive to the beach. Spa and sauna were easy to use with clear instructions from Paul on how to use both. Complete privacy separate the main house to the back where the bungalow is Would definitely come back again :)

Such a fab little cabin and location! Everything you need for a relaxing stay and the property itself is so much fun for kids (and adults)! Our kids absolutely loved the basketball court, the trampoline and swimming pool & spa. Peter was very friendly and switched on the hot tub for me. The grounds and cabin itself are kept really well. The beds are comfy, the split ac/heater works quickly and the kitchen has all the latest appliances to ensure you have an easy stay. Would definitely recommend and return!

My partner and I really enjoyed staying with our dog at Trish & Ian's for a night in mid winter. The cabin was cosy and private. We enjoyed all the little French provincial touches - and all the thought that went into making our stay special. We found Trish very proactive and easy to communicate with -- and we felt very welcome. We'd definitely recommend.

Beautiful cosy cabin for 1-2 people (and your own furry friend). Well stocked kitchen and welcome plate of cookies and chocolates. Malcolm was easy and friendly to deal with. The property is beautiful and spacious for walking around with your dog, and it's well located to small townships and things to see in the area. Would recommend.

He is, without a doubt, the best host we’ve ever had from all our Airbnb stays - was incredibly responsive, kind and attentive, ensuring all our needs were met and going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. His generosity and warmth truly stood out, leaving us with wonderful memories to cherish. The log cabin, surroundings and views were amazing. Both rooms comfortably appointed and the kitchen and dining area well laid out and functional. There is a steep gravel driveway leading up to the carport, so if you have a city car, be careful when driving up, especially if it is raining. There’s some steep stairs up to the cabin, but not too much of an issue. The cabin itself is very comfortable and with the ducted heating and fireplace in the lounge room it’s very cozy. The rooms have their own air conditioning to warm things up as well. The views are absolutely stunning especially in the morning. Coffee on the enclosed veranda with those views are definitely worth it. It is a bit of a drive up and down the mountain to get to places, but there are also very nice places close by to get food and breakfast in the morning. There’s a botanical garden nearby in Olinda which is a must see.

The cottage was perfect for what we wanted. The recommendation to try dinner at the Kilcunda Hotel was perfect. A great country pub with such friendly and attentive staff made it and enjoyable night. We will return.

Red and his family were so welcoming and friendly . Just a lovely place to stay close to the Bells Beach WSL surf competition which we were there for. If you are here for the surf - this is your place to stay . Red was easy going and a cool guy . Loved that we could walk to the surf competition- though the 25 min hike is only for the once who can jump fences and walk in bush - just up my alley . Still if you don’t want to walk the drive is a few minutes to the beach. Thank you Red - hopefully we will be back next year. Keep singing and playing your guitar - you are darn great at it . Hey!! Just thought I’d leave a little review for this beautiful property. My best friend and I came here for a little disconnect from reality and couldn’t have wished for anything better! It was wholesome, clean and so peaceful. Full of excellent amenities and the host even asked us what our milk preference was! I highly recommend to anybody considering!

Pes was a fantastic host, being so responsive and friendly. He walked me through the arrival process and was so helpful and accommodating. His pad was very clean and cozy with everything needed for a short stay for me to visit my mother. I highly recommend Pes' place and will stay again in the future.

Really enjoyed our stay at Allan and Kay’s place in Flinders. Incredibly peaceful location and gave us everything we were looking for. Nice to have the log fire going on a cold weekend! Thanks for being so proactive and helpful with instructions also, it’s always appreciated.

This cottage was a little paradise. Gunther clearly has thought of everything we could possibly need for a short stay, and the cabin was perfect from the moment we stepped inside. The cabin was beautiful and warm, with countryside all around and a bush block at the back of the property. The views from the verandah were amazing.

Greg’s place was as described, clean neat, well renovated and cosy. Beds were comfy 5 minute walk if that to the General store for coffee, and everything else we needed was a 7 minute drive including a great pub. Plenty of other places to see we’re with in 35 minute drive. There was also everything we needed for breakfast and a better than hotel minibar.

My husband and I just spent the most heavenly weekend at “The Eleventh Oak.” What a stunning little getaway in a beautiful location. From driving up to the cabin to stunning little lights all over the exterior, to entering the cabin with the fire (and candles) already lit… From the hot bath with quality magnesium salts, to the quality bed linen… From the mist laden valley sunrise view, to the homemade and generous breakfast provisions… From the wonderful selection of books, to enjoying some classic records on a quality sound system… There simply isn’t anything that could have made this stay more memorable. Friendly host, great atmosphere. The place was peaceful and fantastic. Was lots to do and my partner and I were satisfied with everything. It’s a place we would definitely consider booking again.
