Monthly Rentals in South Allihies

Lovely, refurbished cottage in natural surroundings on the Beara Peninsula. We enjoyed a visit to the Buddhist monastery, a cable car trip to Dursey Island, fishing for pollock, home cooking and a movie night at the fireplace, super quiet nights. Sheila and Andy were flexible, lovely and helpful.

Delia has covered all your needs especially in the kitchen all necessary appliances provided. Having breakfast provisions was really appreciated. House was spotless. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay in West Cork.

The house is located slightly above the bay and offers a wonderful wide view of the scenery. Unbeatable in terms of spaciousness and amenities. In addition, it is very personal and family-oriented. To feel good.

This was such a generous space for 7 adults and 4 children under 11. The weather was amazing so we made full use of the lovely back garden and its gas barbecue and in the evening the fire pit. The kitchen had every piece of equipment imaginable and loads of plates and cutlery etc The view out the back was the mountains out front the sea and further the Iveragh Penninsula in County Kerry. We had food from the food truck at the next door pub and lunch at O Neills in Allihies. Of course crab sandwiches with the wonderful Adrienne at Mc Cathy’s bar in Castletownbere. Walks to Cleanach and the Arches, swims at Travara and the cable car for some thrills. A special and generous place. (It would be wonderful if there were a safe off road path to the little beach or some provision by the county council to make the road more pedestrian friendly).
