Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Snowshoe

Awesome place, very cozy and private! Very roomy and spacious would highly recommend to anyone that is looking to stay in the area!

Terri’s Airbnb was absolutely gorgeous. The detail and thought they put into this Airbnb was impeccable. You got to enjoy the feel of a private log cabin with all of the updates! The kitchen has everything you needed, and was nice and open to the living room. There were 3 bedrooms- all with good sized beds! It rained the first day, but the second day we cooked out on the grill and had a great time staying in! We also did a little exploring to the observatory. We’d 100% come back and spend a longer weekend walking the trails and taking a train ride! Overall 10/10 stay! :)

A phenomenal stay! The place was SO clean and way more beautiful than pictured. Beds were comfortable, soaps/shampoos and towels were SUPER PLENTIFUL. Mike and Trish's hospitality was the best we've ever experienced at ANY AirBnB. Mike even spent a long time helping us install our bike rack in the dark because we were really struggling! They delivered a crock pot and tweezers (a child got a splinter) within minutes of us asking. Talk about customer service! We LOVED feeding their horses and our kids had the BEST time playing with their puppy. This was definitely the low key retreat we needed to get away from the hectic hustle and bustle of DC. Their location was wonderful for a 20 mile RT bike ride and hikes in numerous parks. We will definitely return again, it was a perfect weekend!

David is a wonderful host who introduced himself and made sure we didn't need anything. The house is very clean, cozy, quiet and peaceful. The decor is beautiful. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, appliances, pots, pans and much more. We purchased some pepperoni rolls and jellies from his little market. The pepperoni rolls made for a nice meal and were yummy and filling. The location was perfect for us since we booked a train ride on the Greenbrier Express. We enjoyed David's recommendations of the local restaurants.

Beautiful surroundings, peaceful, lots of hikes around, groceries not far. Large house, comfortable for bigger family, enough plushy towels, great clean hot tub, and well stocked kitchen. Aleksandar communicates well, though we did not need to reach out for anything. Def need 4x4 to come up, our Rav handled it well. first night took us a while to find the exact house, but was easy if you come with daylight first time. thank you Aleksandar. hope to visit again this or another property of yours.

Overall we had a wonderful time at Jennifer and Rodney’s place. It was exactly as described and well maintained. We especially enjoyed the time spent on the back porch and around the fire pit. Unfortunately the weather was not very cooperative and we were not able to get out and enjoy the trails as much as we would have liked. Also we were 1 week too early and most attractions in the area were not operating during the week days. I was concerned about getting a good sleep on the mattress but managed to sleep through each night. I would recommend that anyone wanting to cook something without it sticking to the well worn pans bring along their own as the ones in the kitchen are well past their prime. Thank you Jennifer and Rodney for providing this great getaway spot.

This is an incredible place! It was our second visit and we hope to be back for more. Highly recommended!

Such a cute place! Had everything we needed and was convenient to the slopes. Loved that it was a ground level. We woke up to beautiful snowy views every morning and we even had deer come right up to our walkway from the woods a few times. We are so grateful it was available for our winter break! Thank you Vicki for having us.

Nice little spot - perfect place to stay with 2-3 people and get on the slopes quick and easy. Rentals, gift shop, and bar on ground floor is very convenient.

It was a great place to stay for a few days to relax and ski. Exactly what the doctor ordered. The place was clean and exactly as advertised. Would stay again

Bryan & Heather were awesome hosts to work with. Very prompt with responses to questions. Their place was exactly as described and very comfortable for my husband and I. The views getting to the condo were amazing!!! It was very peaceful with only a few people around since we stayed off season for skiing. We would stay there again if return to the area in the future and their condo is available. Thank you again Bryan & Heather for sharing you condo. *Note to others considering this condo: Heads up; winding road up the mountain with many sharp turns could be a challenge in stormy weather.

A perfect location to visit Hot Springs and Warm Springs VA! I had the best time, a must visit!

Great place for stay in Warm Springs. Close by the warm spring pool, restaurants and other amenities. Clean and comfortable house. Great for couple enjoying a little get away from the city.

2nd time staying at Shon's condo in Mountain Lodge. Great spot. Easy ski out to Ballhooter. First floor, so no need to use the elevator. Thanks again!

A cozy room looking right out on the slopes, just steps away from all of the Village restaurants.

Carlos’s unit was conveniently located near everything in the heart of the village. A first floor unit, it’s truly as ski in/out as you can get. Lockers are easily accessible for gear storage and you’re just a door away from the ski terrain. We loved our stay and will definitely be back.

Although I was only there really to sleep because we were on the mountain for most of the day and evening the place was great. The local deer just hang out around and in the parking lot pretty much all day actually gonna be looking into buying one of these and do the same thing with it thank you.

5 stars on everything but the process of actually getting in the door which is no fault of the owners... the lock battery had died. Hopefully my inconvenience will prevent that from happening to subsequent guests as now there are fresh batteries! Also of note: I visited Snowshoe in the off season and as such the Alleghany Springs front desk is closed. This meant key pickup was offered at either the Inn at Snowshoe (5 mi down the mountain on the way in) or at Top of The World. Luckily I picked up keys on the way in because ToTW was also closed in the off-season. The Folks at the Inn were very helpful as well when the keys wouldn't work and they had to call maintenance. Otherwise the place is perfect, well appointed and convenient to everything at Snowshoe Village.

Great location and roomy condo. They closed Silver Creek for night skiing and had the hot tub/pool area closed, but otherwise was a great spot.

Frank and his place were great. He got back to me right away with any questions I had. Very clean unit and lots of space for my family of 5. We will for sure be staying here again!!

This place is in the prime location to check out the village action. We stayed over Memorial Day Weekend and had a great time with our family. We could watch the concerts and the fireworks from the large deck which over looks the main part of the village. Within walking distance to all shops, the pool, Starbucks, and the ice cream shop. The condo was clean with extra blankets and all the necessities. We would rent this place again for another Snowshoe trip.

A great location (5 min walk to top of Powderidge lift, 2 min to shuttle stop) and at a great value! Nita's communication was great and even allowed us to check-in early which was great! The condo is a little dated but feels cozy and personal. The fireplace is great to have in the winter. Bed as well as the pullout sofa bed are both comfortable. Its one of the best stocked Airbnb's we have stayed and made cooking our meals easy. Any time we said I wish we had that item, we were able to find it. The pictures don't show it but there are two 40-50" smart TVs (one on the cabinet next to the sofa and another on a cabinet in front of the queen bed) so we were able to watch movies at night. The deer also visited the back porch one evening which was awesome! Would 100% recommend and come back in the future!
