Quiet secluded vacation/hunting camp on 20 acres in Pocahontas County Wv. Family camp since the 70’s. A true camping experience with comfort. No cell service in area due to Greenbank Observatory’s regulations. 3 small bedrooms, Gas grill, picnic table, outdoor furniture, and fire pit. Tons of trout fishing close by , skiing, hunting, hiking and immediate wilderness access on the property. No other houses within a quarter mile! Great place to decompress and have some fun. No range. Spiral stairs. The bathroom is open, but around the corner from living space, has a privacy curtain. Tiny Space with a great big view! Right on the Warm Spring! New cabin built 2019 in the heart of pocahontas county! Just a 28 mile drive to Snowshoe ski resort. It has a bedroom downstairs with a queen bed, upstairs bedroom has a full bed with open loft overlooking kitchen and living room area, bathroom downstairs with standup shower. It has a heat pump, two TVs & WIFI also a fully equipped kitchen. We have a fire pit outside and a charcoal grill. The 77 mile greenbrier river trail is directly in front of our cabin.

We enjoyed getting away for a few days. The cabin was perfect. It was peaceful and quiet with a very nice hot tub. The cabin was clean and had all the amenities we needed. We relaxed at the cabin when we were not out hiking the many trails in the area or going downtown to eat at the restaurants near by. We also used the kitchen when we wanted to eat in. Again, it was the perfect getaway. We can’t wait to go back again.

They give very clear instructions on how to get here, because it is a bit complicated, but with their help we had no problem. The area is very pretty and the cabin has everything you could want. The only difficulty we had was were no able to make phone calls, we were able to get enough of a connection at snowshoe, but be aware you will be cutoff from almost all internet uses. Outside of that we loved using the fire pit and grill every night, and we look towards our next visit!

Bryan & Heather were awesome hosts to work with. Very prompt with responses to questions. Their place was exactly as described and very comfortable for my husband and I. The views getting to the condo were amazing!!! It was very peaceful with only a few people around since we stayed off season for skiing. We would stay there again if return to the area in the future and their condo is available. Thank you again Bryan & Heather for sharing you condo. *Note to others considering this condo: Heads up; winding road up the mountain with many sharp turns could be a challenge in stormy weather.

This cabin is truly "a little bit of heaven" from the peaceful setting to the beauty of nature in early spring. We were able to fish as desired and rest and relax when at the cabin. Kitchen was fully equipped so meals at the cabin were easy. So quiet and swing on front porch set the mood for "front porch sitting".

We loved our stay at Fern Cottage. The location is just beautiful - amazing mountain and valley views and wonderful starry nights. The cottage is clean and charming and the outdoor spaces are great. The hosts thoughtfully provide firewood, fire starters, flashlights, and a fully stocked coffee bar. We also appreciated the recommendations and prompt communication throughout. A wonderful place to just chill out!
