Such a wonderful, peaceful weekend. Right by the river with a lovely deck to hang out on. Spacious lawn for the young adult to play games. Very private and restful. Thank you David, we will definitely make use of Marshall Farm again.

This was my second time visiting Die Melkstal. The first was with my family and this time as a group of 6 friends. I’m already planning my next visit back. Die Melkstal is always spotless and peaceful. The farm is so beautifully maintained and the animals are friendly. Matthys and Sarah are the best Airbnb hosts I’ve communicated with to date, and have put together the most lovely guide to the Airbnb and surrounding activities/entertainment. The kitchen is stocked with almost every tool you could need, which is so helpful with a larger group. I’ve taken every opportunity to recommend this stay to almost everyone I know, and I will continue to do so. Many thanks Matthys and Sarah!

Had the most amazing stay. The place was perfect and it was everything I needed and more. Loved going on walks and hiking up the most stunning trail. Suurbraak is such a beautiful surprise. Heather and Mark were extremely kind and helpful hosts and had the cutest and most friendly dogs. Alice was my fav! Will definitely return and hopefully spend more time there, three nights just wasn’t enough.
