The island on which the house is located is beautiful and has all the prerequisites to become unique and beautiful. The accommodation is as in the pictures, only more beautiful. The fact that you could use a selection of boats rounded off the experience. Bosse was always easy to reach and very friendly. The island can either be reached by ferry (departure times vary) or you can be picked up from a point on the mainland by Bosse. Before traveling to the island, all food should be procured. Highly recommend everything! Gladly again!

Jenny’s cabin is on such gorgeous land. It was spring and the birds were nesting, the fruit trees were in bloom, the fiddlehead ferns were just coming out. It was so fun to ride bikes on the roads around her cabin. We even did the 10 kilometer walk around the island called Gula Vindövarvet. It was beautiful and so delightful to see all the neighbors walking their dogs and working in their yards. Very friendly. If you do this long walk, it’s easier to see the trail markers if you head clockwise out of Jenny’s driveway. The cabin is charming and tucked away from the rest of the property.

We spent two very relaxing days at the cabin. The cabin is very comfortable, and close two hiking paths. Communication with Ingela was easy, and so was the way to the cabin from the bus stop. A great option for a break in nature close to Stockholm.

Lots of windows. Beautiful light. Very minimalistic atmosphere which gave a calm and peaceful feeling. Cozy front room with windows, daybed and surrounding views of boats passing by was perfect for coffee and relaxation. Elisabet is an excellent, responsive and kind host. While you cannot take a car there, they have two hand carts available to use when you arrive. If you don’t mind walking, it is a good walk with your suitcases in the carts from the ferry to the home and you’ll get a lot of wildlife, animals and things to see. We enjoyed the nature. Water everywhere. The sunsets were beautiful. Private beach to use (visible to everyone but not available). A sweet market just down the hill with almost everything you may need for a few days. A boat, kayak, SUPs and linens for rent—ask to reserve them ahead of your stay. We loved the experience.
