Tranquil South Wiltshire Cottage with Views.

DRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a lovely stay, the cottage is bright, homely and well equipped. The area is very peaceful and the views, particularly from the master bedroom, are beautiful! There was a lovely welcome hamper which was very much appreciated. James was extremely kind to offer us a later check out time and he was quick to respond to my messages. Sadly we didn’t explore the surrounding area due to spending time with family in Fordingbridge. The garden was a great bonus and completely fenced in and secure which was perfect as we had our dog with us.

The Barn - peaceful country setting.

SunnyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We enjoyed exploring the area from our lovely little "home base." We went to several historic properties and gardens, did lots of walks and ate at some delicious restaurants/pubs all within a half hour or less from this apartment. Rosie is a really nice woman and her place is light and spacious - plenty of room to put our things away and not feel crowded which we have come to appreciate on this months long road trip! We hated to have to leave and look forward to our next stay. Our small dogs especially miss the back garden (and Rosie's kind attention.)

40 Winks - self contained annex

RuthRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I booked a place on a heritage textiles course at the Ancient Technology Centre. My husband wasn't attending the course, so we couldn't stay in the communal space. Sharne's self-contained annex was absolutely perfect. We stayed for three nights. The is kitchen well-equipped and the bed very comfortable. Sharne had kindly left a bottle of milk in the fridge for us (we actually brought our own) and some very delicious biscuits. The toilet/shower room is small, but perfectly adequate and was spotlessly clean. Sharne and family were away for the weekend, so unfortunately we didn't meet. Maybe next time. :-) On the first night, we enjoyed an excellent meal in the Sheaf of Arrows, which is a five-minute walk away.
