Wonderful little quaint get away spot. Super comfortable and well decorated and furnished! Will love to come and stay here again!

This house was amazing. Here lately my Arbnb experiences have felt as if people are just out to make money. Not Keith and Kazumi, you can tell that they trully care about their guests experience. We can't wait to go back!

This place is spectacular. Even though the road is right on the other side of the fence, it is very private and the trees, the birds, the river and the cliff draw your attention. It's simple, spacious and it was hard to tear ourselves away to do into the redwood groves! I also very much appreciated the positive and immediate response I got to my inquiry about cleaning products. I am chemically sensitive and cannot tolerate scented products. Sue made every effort to make sure the house was scent free (and it was, 100%), including setting up fans after the previous guests left to disperse the lingering perfume in the air! Thank you! The location was great, a beautiful redwood grove (what we came for) a short distance down the road, and an easy drive to Avenue of the Giants. We will DEFINITELY be back!

What a wonderful house! Clean and well furnished. And in the middle of a wonderful, pristine region. We loved the whole stay.

What an incredible stay! The views and quietness of the location was unbelievable! Even being able to hear the sea lions in the morning from the cove was so neat! Philip was incredibly responsive and we appreciated the local recommendations too—Briceland winery was a fun added stop! Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer! We absolutely recommend this as a place to stay!

Great location, ocean view from the deck to enjoy a glass of local wine. Very friendly and responsive hosts. The neighborhood is so quiet that you can fall asleep to the sound of the ocean crashing into the rocks. The house was clean and well equipped. Abundant wildlife roaming the streets. We really enjoyed our stay in a hidden gem of Shelter Cove.

This place was located in a truly beautiful spot off of the Avenue of the Giants. I would highly recommend it to anyone coming to visit the area.

This place near the Lost Coast was incredible—super peaceful with amazing ocean views. The house was cozy and had everything we needed.

This is a great place tucked away in the forest right on the river. Charles is just starting this place up for Airbnb rentals and is putting a lot of thought into making Guest feel comfortable. Seriously a great host. Would probably give you the shirt off of his back. I felt really at home here. Five stars across-the-board is a given.

This apartment in Shelter Cove was a perfect spot to explore the area from, and was an incredibly comfortable place to come back to after a day out. I hope to visit Shelter Cove again and would absolutely rebook Reya’s spot.

Great place to stay! Host communicates very well. Can hear traffic from road sometimes but it’s not too bad. Would definitely stay here again!

Stunning location= Avenue of the Giants! We had visited briefly years ago but staying here and exploring was magical. Mallory's place is perfectly located for exploring the Humboldt Redwoods State Park. The place was very comfortable and we enjoyed short walks to restaurants and a coffee shop. Highly recommend

My stay at this Airbnb was truly a peaceful and refreshing experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and at ease. This listing was a great location for exploring the redwoods! The cute exterior is matched on the interior. Comfy living space and fairly equipt kitchen! Would recommend for anyone who needs a place that’s a drivable distance to exploring the surrounding areas.

Overall nice place! We had a hiccup getting into the house but Alessandra called me very fast and we solved the problem in minutes.

We had a wonderful time at Black Sands Inn! The location was incredible, and the room was very well decorated with comfortable furnishings. There's a cute coffee shop next door and good restaurants nearby. You can't beat the beach access directly from the room. It was a really gorgeous location and a cute little apartment. We wanted to move in and never go home. We'll be back!

I can’t really say enough good things about this stunning place. The view? Like are we watching a TV screen of the most majestic ocean ever or is this the window? The fireplace. The locations. The staff. Legit, book it. Thanks me later. The price is great for what you get. Im a neat freak and Larry left our place spotless. Bottom line— I have stayed all over the world in quite a few hotels and b&bs but this is a place not to be missed. Just dont take the next days I want. 🤣 Happy travels all!

Loved our stay at Shelter Cove, the views were unbeatable and it was also a great night for stargazing. We enjoyed the balcony and the jacuzzi in the living room that looked out into the ocean. Everything was incredible comfortable, we would definitely stay here again.

Had an amazing night staying at your place, The Exquisite. Check in was easy after getting cell service. My group, of 4, loved having a working, clean hot tub with a view after getting off the LCT after 4 days. 10/10 will recommend and will definitely keep your place in mind when we plan for our next trip at shelter cove. The place was and the view were better than we expected! such a beautiful spot, clean and a easy walk down the trail to the beach. we will 100% be booking again. 100/10! Simy was super helpful giving us tips and suggestions and responded very fast!

This place is such a gem 💎 🤍 hosts are so responsive and speedy, they reached out a couple days before check in and established contact 🤍 the room is amongst a larger inn but the entire establishment you can tell is well cared for and each room is just as wonderful as the next 🤍 location is amazing - isolated but a great sense of community there is a coffee shop that has delicious drinks and food just steps away from the inn. There are also numerous small restaurants within walking distance and it is worth trying them all 🤍 updated appliances and decorations, very clean and well kept with literally no clutter 🤍 the cove is incredible, beaches are clean and the water is crystal clear, it is a bit on the colder side if you choose to play in the water, otherwise the views alone are spectacular Will be recommending this place to all my friends. Excellent weekend trip and a great place to relax and recharge Thank you so much!

We booked a last minute stay at the Spyglass Inn on 4th of July and it was fantastic. The view from the balcony was magical, with direct sunsets over the ocean. We had a great time sitting in the balcony with the view and stargazing at night. Shelter Cove is a very small, secluded town so I would recommend filling up your gas and getting groceries in Redway/Garberville area before heading in. Thank you Simy for a great weekend stay!
