The bottom level of the house is on the cliffs edge so you will have a Birds Eye view of all the whale activity and people watching on the beach. The large deck has glass railing which makes it completely unobstructed. There are no neighbors directly on either side so it is very quiet and private. Newly renovated small-scale kitchen & living room. Just a short walk to the restaurants. Perfect for R&R.

My only hesitation in writing a perfect review is the fact that I want to go back with my family and hope it’s available… In all seriousness, it was absolutely spectacular even better than we expected. Wonderfully furnished. Kitchen was completely stocked with everything possible and it couldn’t be more oceanfront. 10 stars out of 10. Angelia was easy to communicate with about everything was so perfect. We didn’t need any assistance at all.

My stay at this Airbnb was truly a peaceful and refreshing experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and at ease. The space was not only clean and thoughtfully arranged, but it also carried a warmth that made it feel like a home away from home. The view was absolutely breathtaking the kind that instantly soothes your soul and invites you to slow down and take it all in. I’m so grateful for the care and hospitality that was shown throughout my stay. Thank you for creating such a serene and inviting space. I would absolutely love to return again

What a great time we had!Maureen is such a wonderful host and an absolute gem of a human being. This is a place for animal lovers and lovers of nature. We were greeted by the most friendly cat, dogs and horses I've ever met. The quaint house we stayed in has a view of the horse pasture and is just a short walking distance to a stream with a deep swimming hole. Lots of shade trees and flowering native lilies surround the house. Great kitchen with everything you need to make meals from local ingredients that we bought at the farmers market. We spent a day exploring out past Petrolia to the coast and out to Whitethorn to a well known mill known for its abundance of wood slabs and every configuration and type of local wood you could imagine. Pro-tip, the store also has a cafe that serves up an amazing espresso milk shake! Thank you Maureen, you made our stay so special, we'll never forget your kindness.

This was our first time visiting Shelter Cove and it did not disappoint! The views from the house are breathtaking. We had the best time at the beach, exploring tide pools. The house was perfect for us and we met some very sweet, welcoming neighbors.

We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed how peaceful and serene the home was, with stunning views of the ocean. We felt right at home and were very comfortable on our stay; the place was truly a hidden gem in Shelter Cove. We found so much to do and enjoyed exploring the area: tide-pooling, hiking the Lost Coast trail, walking on the beaches and checking out the local cuisine. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Shelter Cove.
