Holiday rentals with beach access in Shelter Cove

This is a great place tucked away in the forest right on the river. Charles is just starting this place up for Airbnb rentals and is putting a lot of thought into making Guest feel comfortable. Seriously a great host. Would probably give you the shirt off of his back. I felt really at home here. Five stars across-the-board is a given.

We loved our stay in Shelter Cove at Marc’s home. We enjoyed our time in the large deck hanging out and listening to the ocean. Ocean views are plentiful from multiple locations in the home and property. We had gorgeous sunny weather all weekend long. The sunsets from the top deck were amazing. This home had everything needed for a wonderful family vacation. There is plenty of room for everyone and the home is so clean and comfortable. Truly home away from home! We enjoyed exploring Shelter Cove during the days and coming back to the home in the evenings to cook dinner at hang out at the house. The beds were so comfortable. My stay at this Airbnb was truly a peaceful and refreshing experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and at ease. The space was not only clean and thoughtfully arranged, but it also carried a warmth that made it feel like a home away from home. The view was absolutely breathtaking the kind that instantly soothes your soul and invites you to slow down and take it all in. The rocky cliffs waves crashing view is wowzy. The roads to get there are a bit nerve racking if your used to mostly flat roads.

We loved this home! Spacious, clean, modern, and beautifully located. Great neighborhood and there is a super cute coffee shop and general store nearby. Costal breezes and views. We would stay here again!

This is such a beautiful home! I loved the decor and amenities. The views are great, its within walking distance of local businesses and trails. My favorite was just sitting in the recliner and reading. Im definitely bringing the family next time. Its spacious enough so people wont feel crowded.

We had a great stay at Alec's place. Great communication prior to our stay answering any questions that came up in a timely manner. The house was clean and spacious, tucked into a peaceful neighborhood.

Great location, ocean view from the deck to enjoy a glass of local wine. Very friendly and responsive hosts. The neighborhood is so quiet that you can fall asleep to the sound of the ocean crashing into the rocks. The house was clean and well equipped. Abundant wildlife roaming the streets. We really enjoyed our stay in a hidden gem of Shelter Cove.

I had such a relaxing stay at Darlene’s home outside the city. The house was clean, comfortable, and had a cozy, welcoming feel. It was the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy some peace and quiet, with beautiful surroundings and nature close by. Darlene was a thoughtful and making sure I had everything I needed. I’d definitely come back for another escape from the city highly recommended!

We rent homes on the coast often to take our children and our dog. This home is a gem. Well not directly at the ocean, we found its location fantastic. We couldn’t recommend Heather‘s house any higher.

I absolutely loved my stay here! The balcony is huge, and the ocean view is simply breathtaking — I could sit there all day just soaking it in. The air is fresh, the vibe is super relaxing, and the room itself is clean, cozy, and really comfortable. I never got tired of that amazing view — it’s the kind of place you just don’t want to leave. I was honestly so sad to go. If I get the chance, I’ll definitely be back. This place is perfect for recharging and just enjoying the beauty of nature.

Loved our stay at Shelter Cove, the views were unbeatable and it was also a great night for stargazing. We enjoyed the balcony and the jacuzzi in the living room that looked out into the ocean. Everything was incredible comfortable, we would definitely stay here again.

The place was and the view were better than we expected! such a beautiful spot, clean and a easy walk down the trail to the beach. we will 100% be booking again. 100/10! Simy was super helpful giving us tips and suggestions and responded very fast!

Had an amazing night staying at your place, The Exquisite. Check in was easy after getting cell service. My group, of 4, loved having a working, clean hot tub with a view after getting off the LCT after 4 days. 10/10 will recommend and will definitely keep your place in mind when we plan for our next trip at shelter cove. We booked a last minute stay at the Spyglass Inn on 4th of July and it was fantastic. The view from the balcony was magical, with direct sunsets over the ocean. We had a great time sitting in the balcony with the view and stargazing at night. Shelter Cove is a very small, secluded town so I would recommend filling up your gas and getting groceries in Redway/Garberville area before heading in. Thank you Simy for a great weekend stay!
