This home was spacious, well-equipped, and had everything one could need for a comfortable stay—but the real highlight was the view. Hands down the best vantage point I've ever seen of the coast and the Shelter Cove Lighthouse. Waking up to that panorama was unforgettable. Would absolutely stay here again.

This is such a beautiful home! I loved the decor and amenities. The views are great, its within walking distance of local businesses and trails. My favorite was just sitting in the recliner and reading. Im definitely bringing the family next time. Its spacious enough so people wont feel crowded.

Talk about Northern California paradise, Graeme's place is so beautiful and so relaxing. It is a bit of a drive from the 101 but so worth it for the peace and quiet; slept better than I have in months. Trees forever; well supplied kitchen--you can cook anything as plenty of pots/pans, utensils. Books and games for kids and adults; we had 3 generations with us and everyone hated to leave.

This place is pure paradise! The ocean view is absolutely stunning, and the black sand beach just a small walk away makes it feel like a hidden gem. Every morning we woke up to the sound of the waves and watched pelicans and ospreys fly by—it was magical. The home was spotless when we arrived, and everything felt fresh and well cared for. The beds were super comfortable with high-quality linens, and we all slept great every night. The kitchen was a major highlight—huge, modern, and fully stocked with any appliance we needed. Whether we were cooking a full meal or just enjoying coffee with a view, it was perfect. The hosts clearly put a lot of thought into every detail. We felt right at home and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful and beautifully maintained beach escape!

Great location, ocean view from the deck to enjoy a glass of local wine. Very friendly and responsive hosts. The neighborhood is so quiet that you can fall asleep to the sound of the ocean crashing into the rocks. The house was clean and well equipped. Abundant wildlife roaming the streets. We really enjoyed our stay in a hidden gem of Shelter Cove.

Justin‘s place was a very nice and we had a pretty good time there. I didn’t get a chance to write anything inside the book but I meant to. I was taking my mom on her last vacation. I know that it’s depressing or sad to hear, but she has a horrible brain disease and I wanted to take her to a nice place where she could try to enjoy her surroundings and family. Unfortunately, she had a terrible fall and we had to call 911. It’s really hard to deal with, and I am up all hours of the night taking care of her. It is a very hard and stressful time in my life and I appreciate Justin letting us stay at such short notice. I would like to apologize for us being a little bit late checking out. We were able to let the cleaners in on time and I hope that we did not leave too much of a mess. We did try to clean up after ourselves as best we Could and I hope that Justin can respect the fact that I really have my hands full right now and I apologize for not being out at 10. Again, I thank you.

They were all around super kind and helpful with being there. Great spot to stay to be able to hit the redwoods and other surrounding areas.

Our weekend in this beautiful home was relaxing and fun for the kids. Our children enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi. Everything was easy to find in the clean, labeled and organized kitchen. Thank you Heather for sharing your beautiful home.

This place was a great stay! It was clean and impressively organized. The place was much more spacious than expected. Perfect for a quaint place to stay while you are in Redway. Hosts were easy to talk to and very respectful. They helped with everything we needed with zero hesitation. They have several kids that are just awesome. The pool was beautiful and the Jacuzzi was just a bonus. Respect them as hosts and your stay will be great. Couldnt ask for much more 🤙

We couldn’t have been happier with our stay! The surroundings were perfection! The home was cozy but plenty of space to spread out with 2 adults, 2 kids and our Goldendoodle. We had an amazing time and would absolutely stay here again.

We had the pleasure of staying one night in this home. The yard was completely fenced for our dogs to run safely and there was a nice porch for us to hang out. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. Thank you!

This home is a gem on the edge of the wilderness. If you want to be close to nature and relax in a comfortable, sweet cabin - this is the place. It’s clear that this home was designed with love and treated with special care over the years. Very unique architecture with lots of character. Highly recommend.

We had a great time at Kevin’s place! Right off the Avenue of the Giants. A great home base to explore the redwoods and river. The house is roomy, really clean and well-appointed. Everything you need for a comfortable stay on the river. The river is easily accessible from the house. We only saw a couple of other people on the river during our stay. Almost felt like our private spot. Kevin was super responsive and accommodating. A great host!

We loved our stay in Shelter Cove at Marc’s home. We enjoyed our time in the large deck hanging out and listening to the ocean. Ocean views are plentiful from multiple locations in the home and property. We had gorgeous sunny weather all weekend long. The sunsets from the top deck were amazing. This home had everything needed for a wonderful family vacation. There is plenty of room for everyone and the home is so clean and comfortable. Truly home away from home! We enjoyed exploring Shelter Cove during the days and coming back to the home in the evenings to cook dinner at hang out at the house. The beds were so comfortable. Beautiful retreat with all the comforts of home! Robert has been a great host, very helpful and responsive. The house exceeded my expectations with its well equipped kitchen and charming record player that added a special touch to our evenings. We also enjoyed dining in the spacious patio. The drive getting there includes some unpaved gravel sections and windy roads. Once you arrive though, it's absolutely worth it! Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would happily return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the trailer. It was exactly what we needed after a day of hiking and exploring. Theresa was kind, welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed for the night. She was quick to answer questions and extremely responsive. The trailer was clean with a comfortable bed and plenty of blankets for the chilly night we had. Thank you for an excellent night!
