Family-friendly holiday rentals in Seward

We loved this little cabin, the only thing that stood out a little different than we were expecting was the “ocean front” aspect. We thought we were going to be staring at the coast from our doors. There was another building between us and the coast but it was still so close and accessible. The place was clean, close to Seward, and had a book full of local recommendations on things to do and places to eat. Would stay here again!

I would gladly return over and over. The views can't be beat. So much serenity and wildlife to see: seals, otters, eagles and Orcas! and we were only there a short time.

My friends and I (5 people total) stayed at Kent’s guest house for a week and we loved it! There were 3 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and the kitchen was well-equipped for everything we needed. Very clean too! The location was great, basically 10 minutes from everything in Seward. Kent was such a great, responsive, and kind host. He was always quick to respond. We also loved his sauna!! Highly recommend doing that while you’re staying at the guest house. We loved our stay and hope to be back soon!! :)

This was just perfect! I could not have picked a better stay in Seward. Friendly hosts and the view is even better in person. Binoculars are recommended if you want to spot the wildlife. My favorite was the family of otters. The small kitchenette was just what we needed to cook for our group of 3. Thank you for a great experience!

Loved the cabin at Millers landing. It snowed 24 inches while I was there but I really enjoyed using the wood stove. The beds were comfortable, pillows were great, and it was overall a great experience.

Hands down, this was the best AirBNB experience we've ever had. The cabin is even better than the beautiful pictures show. Bruce is a gracious host, and left several thoughtful treats, snacks, and goodies for us. S'mores, nuts, breakfast bars, Keurig coffee pods, local beer - he really took good care of us! The property inside and out was beautiful, and for those of us who need a day of decompressing, Netflix works great! We were able to cook (AMAZING kitchen!) and do our laundry while we were there, and everything in the house worked well! Rent with Bruce without any hesitation! A few bits of advice for anyone who wants to stay with Bruce at his amazing cabin: 1. If you go in the summer like we did, invest in some sleeping masks for the fabled Midnight Sun. Part of the charm of his place are all the beautiful windows with views of the mountains and forest, so there aren't any curtains. 2. His bathtub with shower attachment takes a little getting used to...just stay seated! 3. It may look like a stairway, but it really is a ladder leading to the upstairs loft. Be careful on it, but the view and the bed are well worth the climb! 4. If, like us, you don't have a car while in Seward, taxis (or the occasional Uber/Lyft down from Anchorage) can still get to you - just be prepared to give them a little more information and time to find you...

Kerry’s place was great! The location was perfectly located in downtown Seward, yet very private, quiet and comfortable. Loved the in unit laundry, the kitchen and the very comfortable couch and beds. Check-in was easy, parking was easy and very convenient. The unit was very clean, had plenty of towels, blankets and cleaning/laundry supplies and the one time we needed to warm the place up a bit, the heated flooring was fast and very cozy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Beautiful spot to stay for the evening. The view from the cabin was amazing, and it was a quiet spot to relax even with a lot of other people around. Loved staying here. Bathrooms were clean and the site was great.

Pristine dry cabin with the most beautiful views. One of my favorite airbnbs of all time. This is likely a better spot for Alaskans with grit and gear than tourists who are looking for bougie accommodations. My friend and I loved our time at this cabin and will definitely return in the future.

This place is perfect and magical! We absolutely loved our stay.

Gene's place was very central and quite easy to find. It was clean and well appointed and had everything we needed. The only issue we had was that the temperature of the premises was set very high and the thermostats did not seem to respond when we turned them down. (Perhaps we were not doing this correctly?). This issue was solved by opening some windows, so it did not prove to be a problem. Overall we had an excellent stay.

We had a comfortable stay and enjoyed this great, walkable location! Check-in was easy, everything was clean, and the location was ideal.

House was perfect for our family! Living room furniture as well as the beds were all super comfortable! The tv isn’t a smart tv but there are lots of dvds available or bring your own fire stick to stream. We walked from town twice twice with no issue. Would definitely stay again if we return to Seward!

My friends and I (a group of 5) spent a night at Pacific Rental's place and it was amazing. The place looks exactly like the pictures and is very convenient. Totally recommend to folks traveling to Seward. The beds, bathroom/shower were all great and the host was very responsive. The only issue was with the wifi that was a bit weak and had connection issues.

best bed I've ever slept in! wish we could have stayed longer

Great location, good water pressure in the showers; beds were firm. Each suite can be rented out separately, with two rooms upstairs sharing a bathroom and each bottom floor suite with a private bath. Just keep in mind that there is no living room to congregate in if you rent the entire space, but there's an airy, open kitchen/dining area with a great view to hang out in. Many good restaurants are walking distance, a great coffee shop across the way, and the boat docks about a 20 minute walk away.
