Mike was a great host. Mike even came to the house and dropped off a few items that we needed. The house was great and as described. The house has everything you need and has a easy walk to the waterfront. Minutes from the Clemson Marina if you need a boat or restaurant. There was plenty of room for a family. We HIGHLY recommend Mike's house and we would stay here again. 5 Stars.

Was a beautiful home, and we would happily stay again. We arrived right after storms had passed through and had no power for for first few hours. Hosts were very accommodating in making sure house still got cleaned and ready even without power. They offered to refund our first night if wanted to delay coming, and were keeping me posted almost hourly of updates. Was no fault of theirs, just Mother Nature. Loved the kayaks and all the board and card games. The deck and views are worth the whole place. Even provided s’mores supplies to make. Also the beds were extremely comfortable! Could not have asked for a better get away. Would love to return!

We stayed at the Keowee Luxury Lake Cottage for 10 days. It is in a great location. The Marina is right next door, so it was easy to rent a boat (they offer a discount for people who rent a cottage). The lake is beautiful, the cottage very comfortable and the host was super responsive to any question. We would definitely stay here again!

What an amazing stay! The lake house is so unique, and there is so much to do without even having to leave. It has three separate levels with a room and bathroom on each. The upstairs has a jacuzzi tub overlooking the beautiful lake. The morning fog on the lake from the third floor is magical. The bottom floor is the perfect place to hang out with your entire family, as there is ping-pong, darts, pool, and board games. We had an absolute blast and would book again. I can't imagine how much fun it would be in the summer with warmer weather and the lake. Everything was spotless and immaculate, and the location was extremely safe and close to everything you needed. Host was excellent. Highly recommend!

Our family of 8 adults thoroughly enjoyed the home and the space it provided. The double decker dock was wonderful! We were blessed with a good breeze every day and the dock provided shade except very early so we spent a lot of time outside because of it. A nice quiet cove so our young adults kayaked all along the shoreline. The fishing was good off the dock so all in all something for everyone! Kay

Beautiful home with outstanding view of the lake! Our family had a wonderful time. Megan had snacks welcoming us as we entered the front door. The home was perfect for our family trip to the lake!

My friends and I had an awesome time staying at Don's. The house is in a great location on the lake and was conveniently stocked with everything we could have needed from kitchenware to kayaks to get on the water. We ran into Don on our way out and he is super friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

This was the perfect place for our family’s lake vacation! We had so much fun swimming and fishing off the dock. The location is perfect - Publix is 2 mins down the road and the Keowee Marina is walkable right across the street. We had breakfast outside overlooking the lake every morning, and s’mores by the campfire at night. The kitchen was my fave place to be because you can see the sparkling lake from there. Great bedroom views in the upper master as well. It’s a trek down to the lake but just made us all the more ready to hop in when we got there, worth it! Kayaks and canoe provided is awesome! All the rooms were comfy and the place had everything we needed for a memorable week. We’d stay here again for sure!

Great lake house with everything you need for a great experience. Kayaks, paddle boards, life jackets. The lake was right at the bottom of the property. The house was stocked with all the amenities for a fun, hassle-free stay. Checkout was very easy. the stay was fantastic! We would definitely stay here again!

Loved the place. Quiet and peaceful home. The lake is right behind and even has an access to a private beach through a trail. Scott was very attentive and helpful. Would recommend to anyone. Thank you!!!

Such a quaint cute home. Everything we needed while we were there. 1 recommendation is to put house number on front of house as there are 2 homes side by side that look very much alike and we were unsure which home we were checking in to. Download instructions before you get there as you will most likely lose signal.

We absolutely loved our stay! We had 5 adults, 7 and 9 year old, and two dogs and everyone had the best time! Plenty of room to spread out with a large group. The lake water is calm and large area to swim all around the dock. From our coffee and breakfast on the back porch, to swimming and boating during the day, to hot tub and swings early evening, to dinner, games, and cocktails at night… this house has everything you are looking for. I love that this house allows for pets but doesn’t smell like animals. They have dog bowls ready for your furry family members. Very clean and updated spaces. Nice large living areas upstairs and downstairs for comfortable seating for a crowd. Great area to waterski or tube after you get out of the idle area without all of the boats and choppy water like north side of the lake. The hosts were very responsive and friendly! 10/10 experience

we had a great time on lake Hartwell. everything about the house met or exceeded our expectations. Will come again for sure.

Home was better than expected, absolutely beautiful. Great location, steep walk to the dock but typical for this area. Home had all the extras. Lori was helpful and provided an air pump for our tube.

House is beautiful and almost new so everything was nice and clean inside, even though the house lacks good linens, not enough blankets, pillows or towels, also the two master bedrooms offer no closets, so no hanging is available. We were a family of 9 there were not enough glasses or plates and lacks enough counter appliances. The two BBQ gas tanks were empty so we lost the opportunity to BBQ when we did the purchase, fortunately it was brought to us a couple of days later. Neighborhood is very nice and quiet and the view is fantastic, even though location may feel a bit too remote.

We were there for a work trip and it was a very comfortable place to stay. Clean, quiet and relaxing. Will definitely stay again!

Logan was an amazing host, super helpful and we will stay there again. It was everything we eanted and can't wait to stay there again.

We had a fantastic stay here! We had 4 families and everyone had enough space! We loved the downstairs game room, the fire pit, the big open garage to play games, the double decker dock, all the amenities and all the extra space! It was perfect! Erica was a fantastic host, providing a detailed instructions guide, lots of recommendations, quick responses to questions and such a friendly demeanor. What a great weekend full of wonderful memories!

The Dockside Dawg is a perfect lakeside vacation spot! The house is gorgeous & an easy walk down a stair path to the lake. The dock set up is perfect- lots of room for seating, plenty of chairs & floats, 2 paddle boards, a great view, plus lots of afternoon shade. It’s at the entrance to a cove so the water is calm & peaceful, making it easy to paddle board, kayak or just float in the lake. We had tons of wood for the fire pit. The screened in porch is perfect for reading & listening to the rain when storms pass through. The house is well-stocked- towels, kitchen supplies, toiletries. My only caution to future renters- my husband & I went for a walk & saw two aggressive dogs at the front of the neighborhood who weren't on leashes. This doesn't have anything to do with the house & we got away without them hurting us & but l include this as a heads up to be careful if you decide to go for a walk. Our lake vacation was perfection. We loved our stay & hope to go back soon! Go Dawgs!!

Everything was perfect!! The house was very clean and so easy to find from the interstate. So many thoughtful touches throughout the property. We had a wonderful time! It’s a shame that the house is for sale because we would love to make this an annual trip! Thank you for everything Wayne!

Wonderful spot to celebrate a trifecta of events- graduation, 21st birthday and Mother's Day. Wide range of activities available for ages 20-82 and plenty of spots to tuck away decompress! Love the hammock and hot tub !
