This traditional wooden house is an island retreat with 500m of Saimaa lake shoreline. Nearest neighbour 300m. Main building has 3 fireplaces, 2 bedrooms, modern kitchen, 2 living rooms and a bathroom. Sauna and guest house with additional 2 bedrooms are in separate buildings. Rowing boat with small motor and travel to/from island (700m) at start and end are included. Extras: Bedlinen & towels 20e pp. Bigger motor boat 50e daily + fuel. Box of wood per three days of stay included, extras 15e.

Loue Island - A true Finnish experience

ONLY FOR THE MORE ADVENTUROUS ONES! A log cabin built in the 1960s, on a small island. This is the only property on the island, there are no other cabins, houses, or whatsoever. You are alone in peace. This is not your usual Airbnb. Here, you will have to get your own water from the well or the lake. Chop some firewood. Start a fire. But you will surely have a once-in-a-lifetime experience. This is a unique opportunity to experience a true Finnish lifestyle in the best way possible.

Ambiance in the middle of the Iijoki

Peaceful unique place. House with all amenities. You'll have access to a lot, a wood sauna, an electric sauna, a rowing boat, and fishing gear. In the summer, you can enjoy the surrounding river by swimming, rowing, or fishing. In winter, you'll be wearing a starry sky and maybe even the Northern Lights. In winter, you can ski, walk, or snowmobile on the river ice. The sea is about 2 kilometers from the cottage. Great for staying overnight or longer stays.

Private Island Cottage: Archipelago National Park

On this island you have full privacy. You need binoculars to eventually spot other humans! Still, you have all the things you need. Nature in the region is fascinating the whole year round with a rugged archipelago ecosystem and ancient bedrock, where juniper and curling pine grow. The Archipelago National Park is one of the most species-rich regions in Finland. The Archipelago National Park is part of the UNESCO Archipelago Sea Biosphere Reserve.

Cottage at Boholmsviken on the island Sävö

The cottage is beautifully situated close to the sea. Very basic standard. No running water nor electricity. Water is brought from Sävö farm where you can also charge your mobile. There is kitchenware such as cutlery, cups and plates and gas cooker. Bring your own sheets - there are mattresses, blankets and pillows. Sleeping bags are not allowed. A house with bright interior style, with a sense of holiday-luxury large socializing spaces inside and out. A fantastic view in an elevated, unobstructed location, just 40 meters from the sea. The plot of 2.4 hectares, bordered by about 600 meters, sea coast and two private pier-side boats. No pets are allowed but a fee applies. Bed linen/ towels can be rented from us or brought.

Fridge, stowe and heating work by gas, outdoor toilet, solarpanel for charging mobile phone and computer. Gasgrill outside and big sundecks in front of the cottage. Little motorboat in use.
