This cabin was luxurious with a lot of attention to details, a gorgeous sauna, and a beautiful clear lake. It is so amazingly quite. Sari and his husband were extremely friendly and the chats and delicious cake made us feel at home.

The house is a real pearl in Stockholm archipelago, beautifully decorated which allows guests to understand the true living in this unique nature setting. The house is well equipped, with a spacious patio/deck for breakfast, lunch or dinner with brand new deck furniture. The house built in 1912, offers spectacular views from each room and is located next to a 1500 year old viking chiefs' grave shaped like a boat which gives a unique tie to the Scandinavian history. We experienced beautiful waterfront sunsets dining at the the dock house which offers charming overnight accommodations and has all the kitchen, dining/bbq equipment so guests can enjoy the dining at waterfront without running up to the main house. The sauna house is easy to use and guests can cool off stepping into the sea. For local excursions, the house is about 50 minutes drive to Stockholm old town. We thank the host Fredrik and his wife for a fantastic vacation in this spectacular Swedish nature reserve.

We came back for a second time. Last year we had some bad luck with a short stay of a few days and storm Hans and couldn’t see the beauty of this place to the fullest. This year we had much more luck with the weather some rainy and windy days but also some very sunny and quiet days. We had some great time fishing, catch crab, chilling on the sun deck (always a place somewhere with less wind) , did the hike Høgkletten. And just get groceries at the supermarket by boat. AND we’re lucky enough to spot sea otters , sea eagles and beautiful Northern lights on the island itself.

A truly magical place, your own little universe. A quiet and peaceful place like this is not easy to come by these days, especially not with all the modern amenities that Pirjo's place offers. Private sauna, comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen, fast WiFi, near-total isolation with a town still in reach... I could go on. A true gem in the middle of the beautiful Finnish nature and without a doubt the best Airbnb I ever stayed at. Pirjo herself is an amazing host. Not only did she always reply quickly and very helpfully – she went out of her way multiple times to accommodate and go the extra mile for me, organizing helpful things for me that I didn't even ask her to. I am so grateful to Pirjo, whose hospitality has been the cherry on top of this amazing vacation-cake. Also the island's caretaker, Heikki, was super nice and helpful and I'm happy to have met him. Sadly I didn't meet Pirjo to thank her in person but I hope we will once I inevitably come back for another stay.

We had a wonderful time with our three little children on this beautiful little island- it has become a place of heart and was the pure relaxation. The house makes you feel immediately comfortable, the host is very reliable and likeable and the sunsets at the fjord right on the water are indescribably beautiful. We hope to come back soon!!

This place is a unique experience! We were also lucky with the weather and enjoyed every second at Eivind and Cecilie's little paradise island. We will be back as soon as possible!

We had 3 wonderful nights on the island. Everything worked out as it should. The refrigerator as you know it from home, cooled perfectly. Hot water in the outdoor shower. The place provided everything we needed for our 3 day stay. Sofia was informative and helpful. We received small videos that showed exactly how everything worked on the island. Very helpful. The experience of being all alone on a small island can really be recommended. It's definitely not the last time we'll try it! We can recommend Sofia and the lovely little island at any time! We had a wonderful holiday season at Larissa's island vacation home. Our 3 families felt right at home in this large, very personal house in the southern archipelago of Finland, from the shot and yet quite close to Kotka and Helsinki. From the airport it is only an hour to the jetty and from there you will soon be on the island. The cottage is wonderfully located on the southern tip of the island. There is plenty of space to linger inside (4 separate bedrooms are really exceptional) and outside, sun and wind all day. This is how the weeks are (too) fast. The kitchen is very well equipped. Even with a large chalkboard, everything is not a test, again both indoors and outdoors. The new sauna gets warm quickly. It offers a beautiful view to the sea. Larissa is a great host and so we had very nice days. I fully recommend Villa Vonkka, assuming some experience in island life.

Paradise. This is the absolute best, most unique and beautiful place I’ve ever stayed at. The pure embodiment of peace, the surrounding nature and overall experience staying here was a reminder of how much life there is to live. My friends and I had the best time fishing, cooking at the barbecues, rowing the boat, swimming and overall hanging out at the island. Sitting at the dinner table with just candles and playing board games with the most stunning view I’ll forever remember… The list could go on. Thanks Rasmus for listing your beautiful paradise and allowing us to stay here. You have provided endless memories for us. If you’re planning on booking, do not thing twice. This place is perfect.

Staying in Alexander's house was a real experience. It was wonderful to enjoy the peace, the view, the swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding and the boat trip to the island. Alexander gave us the good tip to watch the sunset, worth it! As the icing on the cake, we also saw the northern lights. The accommodation was spacious, cozy and very homely. In short, we would have liked to stay longer.

Wonderful little stuga on Åstol. Marcus had a lot of information for us and met us at the ferry. Full kitchen with dishwasher, gas cook top and electric range. A very comfortable and peaceful spot in an interesting community.

We stayed a week on Victoria's island and enjoyed the time very much. Absolutely quiet and very relaxing. The communication with Viktoria was very good, her uncle showed us everything after arrival and was super nice. We will be happy to come back :)

Don’t hesitate with this gem. Had a perfect midsummer with family and friend. Magical place! Hope to come back again ☺️☀️

A traditional cottage for one or two people with excellent value. My area is bigger than the photos suggest. Communication and scheduled rides to the island work well. Peter was easily reachable throughout the visit, even if there was no problem.

The secluded and unique location of the island cannot be beat. We had a big adventure on the island with our children (4 and 7 years) - swimming in the river, campfire, sauna,boating etc. The house was cozy and well equipped. We enjoyed every second to the fullest and would come back any time.

Our family and dog were very happy on the island. Preferably even for a longer time, perfect for switching off and enjoying nature. We used everything and were often outside until midnight, either by the fire, in the hot tub or in the sauna. The dog also enjoyed all the boats with us on the water and felt free there. The cottage is very well disposed, with a clear sleeping area separated from common areas. It made it easy to share our holiday week, 3 generations and 3 families. Only difficulty we encountered were standards that we don't have in Sweden, such as the tip safety linked to the fan, the double-comand when locking garden doors, and maybe something more. Staying in this nice cabin itself was an enjoyable experience that was appreciated by all of us, from 4 to 75 years. Great.

We had a wonderful 14 days in Kornelia's summer cottage. The location and the view of the lake are particularly outstanding. For our children it was like a little adventure where they could discover the beautiful nature of the island freely and safely. On top of that, the accommodation was very well equipped and clean, and Kornelia and Johann and the entire island community were very welcoming. I recommend the accommodation to anyone who wants to spend a wonderful, varied and relaxing time in a great environment.

WOW. Is all I can say.Stayed with my partner this September for 5 days.Cannot get over how lovely and perfect this stay was.Boat given to get to the island and back when needed during the stay.Easy to row to.House exceeded expectations,was lovely and clean,cost and even had abit of food for us the night we arrived,this detail meant a lot.Every aspect and eventually thought about by host,life jackets provided,female products in toilet,towels,flannels,yogurt and cold fresh drinking water.Him and his wife met us on arrival and showed us the place we had booked.Were so accommodating and wish to be back here ASAP.Loved this place.
