A thoroughly wonderful stay in the charming hen house with beautiful views of the water. Timmo and Liza were the sweetest hosts - and the food, which they made partly with vegetables from the garden, was fantastic and was served in their atmospheric cedar greenhouse. A big thank you from here - and a huge recommendation!

We are so grateful to have had such a long stay in this house: the wonderful view to the see and the mountains in the changing light and colours was so beautiful - also the natural surrounding of the house - unforgetable! The house inside is very tastfully furnished - the kitchen perfect. We could feel, that Kundan lived here - sometime ago. Thanks! Very nice place and everything was supposed to be. Our little toddler was well cared for:) All you had to do was light the sauna when the wood was ready in the stove and the spot was bathed. We'll definitely be back. The 😎 hot tub was also really nice.

Wow! This is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed, I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of my visit here. The views are amazing! The fjord is so beautiful, it's an absolutely idyllic setting. The seahouse is right on the water. I loved the perfect views of the mountains out the windows - including the excellent waterfront view from inside the sauna - and I found the sound of the waves just outside very calming. I also really enjoyed sitting in the giant seaside window with a cup of tea and a great view of Mount Hornelen to watch a few sunrises/sunsets. The seahouse is very comfortable, well-organized, thoughtfully designed, and has great amenities. Gunnhild and Steffen are truly the most lovely hosts ever - so kind, warm, and charming, I really enjoyed chatting with them and greatly appreciated their graciousness and attentiveness. I can't imagine anyone regretting a stay here, I'm already trying to figure out when I can come back! <3

House was perfect thanks for everything!

For the third year in a row, I have enjoyed the fantastic little cottage by the lake! The host Ulrich received me as kindly and helpfully as usual. Here you can really relax and enjoy the beautiful nature. If you sit on the balcony by the jetty, you are guaranteed to see a variety of birds swimming by and in the surrounding forest, there are squirrels and deer that come close. The cottage is incredibly cozy and has everything you could need during your stay. The bed is very comfortable, the kitchen is equipped and charcoal is available if you want to grill outside instead. The little cottage on Vättersö has become a nice annual tradition for me and I am already looking forward to next year!

We had a wonderful stay in what can be called Norway's Tuscany. Marianne was a brilliant host and was very friendly and helpful, simply a good person. We enjoyed beautiful surroundings and in a lovely cabin. The area is great and it's time to return, maybe already next summer! Thank you for a great stay.

Perfect stay in this beautiful apartment. The view was splendid and the apartment very nice. The city is accessible by taxi boat or bike. The amenities are functional I recommend

Awesome cabin in beautiful surroundings. We were lucky with the weather, so we spent a lot of time out on the nice patio outside the cabin. We took the trip to Viking hula and Jabenken, which was a very affordable trip with a great view. The hot tub under the stars was also a highlight. Communication with John went great, we got all the information we needed. We gladly came back😊

Wonderful days in an incredibly cozy cottage. Comfortable beds and incredible location right by the sea. We would be glad to come back.

The second time I, and this time with my wife, visit this nice and welcoming accommodation. Gammelgården with its 18th century roots and the more recently built Stallet (in the old style) is located in the fantastic Kullabygden and the idyllic village of Arild, just a stone's throw from hiking trails, swimming and top restaurants. Also within walking distance of Arild's vineyard. We would be glad to come back!

Very nice accommodation where we could comfortably stay 12 people. Large kitchen that is well-suited for cooking. Nice and uncomplicated communication with the host. Easily accessible and detailed information about the house as well as check in/out. Would love to come back.

We were very much looking forward to our stay in Norway and the host was always available. We chose to stay in peace and nature with sauna and hot tub. For the use of this, we had to pay extra which is not very clearly stated. For this price, maybe a little more wood provided because you will certainly not be able to use this and since the price is already pricey anyway, if this is unlimited, we find it. The house was clean, spacious and beautiful view. However, a dangerous staircase, especially the hole down when you are upstairs. Children who are playing do not always have this in mind, maybe a fence provided for safety! The fireplace is definitely a plus because we love this coziness. We were able to admire the northern lights 5 of the 6 nights from the terrace. The kitchen equipment may be a little more extensive. We missed a mixer to mix our soup and a colander to shake off the spaghetti.

A great place for calming and grounding in the midst of nature. Great sauna and nice fire pit. It was easy to do business with Lotta, and the instructions were clear about everything. We had a camping stove with us and I recommend it to others, so you don't necessarily have to use a wood stove for coffee soup or other small heating. None of the insects hurt us, even though we didn't use repellents - the mosquito season is clearly already behind us. We hope you get the chance to come again!

We had a wonderful week in Christoffer's house. The location is unique and the view of the lake is fantastic. The kitchen was very well equipped. We used the canoes and the other boat to explore the lake. The highlight was the hot tub. And you can be in Gothenburg in less than 30 minutes. Christoffer described everything very well. We will definitely be back again.

I was visiting for the second time and brought friends with me this time. It was a fantastic stay again. I knew what to expect bit my friends were also super happy. The house is a real jewel. The location is an absolute dream! The view from the terrace and the jacuzzi is sinply breathtaking. Exploring the water by boat or with the kayas was a very nice experience and it was crownes by some freshly caught fish as well. We will definitelly come back again :-)

We, six friends, have had an amazing stay at Niklas's place at Frykstaladan. What a place! The house is incredibly charming and it is clear that everything from features to decor is very thoughtful. The whole place is magical and everything you wish is at the house. The large inviting deck, hot tub and not least the view made our entire stay! Niklas and his wife Anne are fanatical hosts and we felt so welcome! We would highly recommend this home!

The views are spectacular and the house can only be described as a “kleines Kunstwerk”. The attention to detail is truly impressive! Thanks so much to Rønnaug for creating this wonderful place, and for the great hospitality.

Great place, just like the photos and description. We had a wonderful and relaxing time while there, and got very lucky to get some sun during most of or days there.

breath-taking. the mountain fjord enfolds you. just wonderful. if you haven't visited northern Norway, this is your portal. the host was proactive in finding a parade on constitution day. we took hikes -- everywhere leads to water--a cruise, found a great coffee shop in Leknes, visited an old Viking longhouse, had a 5 course country meal from a local farmer and chef and visited the sheep! , and had a traditional Scandinavian sauna . Every turn on the highway is stunning. The farm dinner helped us interact with the locals which made our adventure much warmer. Hope you have a great time.
